Our central heater was not working, and we already had a huge broken frozen pipes disaster, and even though their schedule was booked for two weeks, and that of other technicians we called, they sent a great tech named Bart out to us within a couple of hours.

He immediately diagnosed the problem as a clogged filter, and the diagnostics proved him right.

I have used Rudy's several times for plumbing issues at my house in South Lake Tahoe and have received great service at a reasonable prices. Most recently in June, Keith checked on my water heater which I thought was perhaps worn out and needed to be replaced due to leaks. Keith diagnosed a leaking valve and replaced it on one visit saving me a larger expense. He cleaned up the area around my water heater when finished with the repair. In the past, Rudy's has also done a great job and efficient and good fair pricing.

My heater went out and after calling everyone in the book and scheduling dates for two weeks out the guys at Rudy's called and said those five magical words ""Are you available right now?"".
They came over, diagnosed the issue as a blower that had failed in the unit, and were able to rebuild it and get the unit back online that same day.
Incredible service and they were clear and communicative regarding when they could be available and how long the repair would take.

Been using Rudy's for years. Fast & efficient. Mostly for annual maintenance on our fireplace & furnace. Got rudely awakened at 3am with screaming smoke detectors and burning smells. Turns out our blower motor on our furnace crapped out. The next morning, called Rudy's and despite a packed service schedule here in Tahoe, they scheduled a same day appointment, the OWNER arrived by 1pm and replaced the broken motor for a really decent price! Keith & Linda are a pleasure to do business with!
