One star is giving them more credit than deserved. Keith showed up for a review and quote on a new furnice, and adding gas lines in the house. Not a small job... he called me and let me know what he thought. I asked him to get me figures and I waited... a week goes by and so I call and mention I am waiting for a quote but would also like a quote on a Regency fireplace I found and they happen to be an authorized dealer. She mentions they will relay the info and have their person call me with the quotes. It has now been a month. I am taking my 3k+ fireplace, 2k+ tank less water heater w/install, 3k+ furnice w/install and gas line install to a better company!

We called Rudys early one morning and their repairman was out at our house within half an hour. Fixed the water heater in a few minutes, and we were able to enjoy the day. Such a treat to have a business be this responsive. Highly recommended.

Had a problem with a wall mounted filter installation. texted 2 numbers no answer or reply for sereral days. Yelp review got a response they came out right away and did a nice custom modification.

We called Rudy's when we smelled gas from a fireplace on the day before New Year's Eve. Within minutes of our call, Jason arrived! He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! He found the problem quickly and fixed it. VERY fair pricing! We are grateful that Rudy's was recommended to us by a long-time resident, and we would recommend Rudy's to anyone! I would give Rudy's FiVE STARS, but am having trouble with making the five star rating on the yelp website.

I've had an ongoing problem with my fireplace inserts since I bought my house 3 years ago. I finally decided to deal with it and I called Rudy's. They tried SO hard to get my units working perfectly and even contacted the manufacturer several times. They manufacturer sent out parts (for free) and that did not fix the problem either. The owner and technicians explained in detail that they determined this problem went back to when the house was built and these units were originally installed. Even though the gas fireplaces do not work perfectly, Rudy's went above and beyond trying their best to get the job done. That is all I could ask for and I'm glad I have a go-to heating a plumbing company in Tahoe. I won't bother calling anyone else...I trust Rudy's and the technicians are AWESOME!

They completed my fireplace repair and it's working well. It was not cheap. The owner said the job with the technician and explain the billing to me but he never called back.

I got my gas fireplace in stalled by Rudy's, they were great with response, email and phone. They have a great variety of fireplaces to choose from, both very traditional and very modern. My only complaint was it was expensive, but either way I would do it again! Very happy with their work!

These guys ROCK!! Great customer service, same day repair, and reasonable price. We needed a new main shut off valve, YIKES!!
Tim was our tech; he was friendly, knowledgeable and clean while he worked. I also like that he suggested an upgraded shut off valve to be placed in the house not back into the ground. This will make it easier to operate if need be. The job was done quickly and professionally.
I actually found these guys here on YELP because we are new to town, glad I did. Because our new house is from the 60's we will need a lot more done in the future.... I will definitely call Rudy's again!!
