The most horrible business in the Lake Tahoe Basin, these folks are rude, disoriented and very unprofessional. They would send you made up invoices for work that never took place. We believe that they over pressurized our older pipes to bleed us for money before proposing a complete pipe replacement, their workers offered to buy a ""colored gas"" whatever that is as they couldn't find a leak in the old gas pipe that was literally 20 feet long with two turns, perfectly accessible from the crawlspace. They didn't pull the permit for the meter relocation, they tried to send us bogus charges in addition to what we already paid. if you refuse to pay made up invoices with bogus charges - they will move to the next stage, they will complain to the building department that your home is out of compliance. In general, these folks are very disrespectful and rude, they are the sound like low lives and act as bottom feeders of the industry. Stay away from this firm if you don't want to get dirty.

Furnace stopped working. Rudy's came out and said 'furnace not working, you need to replace it.' Problem was a 1/4 turn front cover retaining screw loose - the one that depresses the 'dead man' switch enabling the furnace. The one that was retaining the cover the tech removed to 'diagnose' the problem. Steer clear of these people!

Daniel did a great job servicing our gas fireplace insert. His attention to detail and his ability to perform his job in a timely fashion was outstanding. After finishing up, he noticed our gas wall furnace was leaking. He replaced the line and part on the same visit! Thanks again.

Our antiquated heater stopped working and we feared the worst! Our neighbor recommended Rudy's Plumbing & Heating and we were not disappointed. The staff patiently answered all of my questions about the service call, fees, and potential quote for a new system. We had the best experience with the technician Bart. He was friendly, and best of all, he was able to troubleshoot the problem quickly and replace the broken part which he had in his truck. Woo Hoo!

Our central heater was not working, and we already had a huge broken frozen pipes disaster, and even though their schedule was booked for two weeks, and that of other technicians we called, they sent a great tech named Bart out to us within a couple of hours.

He immediately diagnosed the problem as a clogged filter, and the diagnostics proved him right.

We have used this company in the past before as well, and we highly recommend them in South Lake Tahoe.
