Now, fourteen years later, Brent McDonald is a Master Plumber with a thriving business that prioritizes one goal - an excellent customer experience. From your first call to the last follow-up, your experience will be professional, efficient, and tailored to meet your needs.

I was charged $245 for them to pick up a toilet, put it on the wax ring, and reconnect the water line. $245 for less than five minutes. Ridiculous.

I was pleased with their service. I called them in the morning and had a new hot water heater installed that afternoon. The service tech was Aaron. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Was this the least expensive company in my area?; no, but a friend recommended this company and I'm glad I chose them.

We had a tankless water heater break during the freeze. We get quoted around 3600$ to replace a unit that costs around 1200$. The plumber could not tell me how much were parts or labor. The install didn't even work and we had to call them back. We had previously had a good experience with them replacing a cracked toilet upstairs, so we did not expect this price gouging type of pricing and shoddy install,
especially when the community really needed a lot of plumbing help due to the freeze. Left a message and waiting for call back

I had a leak and couldn't get the company I normally use out on short notice. Based on the online reviews, I called Rub-A-Dub Plumbing. Their technician was courteous and actually showed up early, which was nice, but their pricing is excessive. This particular fix was $367.00 and I was initially quoted $288.00. With the other company, I expected to pay $150.00 or less for the same repair.

Just to give you another comparison, I asked for a quote to put in a pressure regulator. The company I normally use quoted me a price of $350.00. Rub-A-Dub quoted me a price of $677.00. This is a quote that I was told wouldn't include overlapping work since the hole for the pipe where the regulator would be installed had already been dug.

I was a bit disappointed that the guy didn't use cardboard or anything to put the dirt on and that he didn't try to preserve my Saint Augustine grass.

The number of text messages and emails seem a bit extreme as well. I had several emails about the appointment and the technician coming out, but had to call to request my receipt since nothing showed up after the technician was gone and the bill was paid.

Aaron came by to fix a couple of leaking toilets. I decided to get all three of toilets fixed with new parts in the tanks.

$700 and two hours later the toilets were leaking worse than before. I called back to get them to come out and fix the toilets and Aaron tells me the handles need to be replaced.

I am thinking all of the components inside the tank were supposed to be replaced.

Basically, this company doesn't know what they are doing and are crooks.
Do yourself a favor and go to another company.

Ginny. I did not receive a voicemail from you as you indicated. You can look my cell number up in your files an try to call to correct. Correction would mean some one other than Aaron come out to the house a fix the problem at no additional cost to me as it was never fixed in the first place.

Thanks,

Mike D.

Rub A Dub Plumbing does not stand by their work. In May, when my toilets would not flush, they said I needed a new septic system. I followed the recommendation and paid them $9K to replace my septic system. Now in September, my toilet won't flush and they tell me I need to pay them to clear the lines. Apparently, per the office worker, I should have known to "ask" them to clear the lines when they replaced the septic. I recommend using a trustworthy plumbing company. Don't make my mistake!

Rub A Dub Plumbing sold me a $9000 septic system in May and my toilets would not flush in September. When they come out to look I'm told that it's my issue since it's a clogged line. Would you expect $9000 install would include cleaning out the lines going into the house because I mistakenly did. Beware of this company because they don't stand by their work and price gouge at every opportunity.

Rub-a-Dub has always been helpful from start to finish. We have used them for multiple services and every time they have always cleaned up any mess, worn booties inside, and been thorough in their explanations of services both needed and rendered. I would definitely recommend them.
