I was impressed that upon my initial call for a water leak, the company owner, Bob Olsen, responded within two hours to investigate the water leak source. The leak was promptly detected and stopped. Bob explained the process as he worked. During his service call he detected that my houses' original 20 year old water pressure regulator was worn out and allowing very high pressurized water to endanger my inside pipes, appliances, and water valves. Water leaks suck and cause tons of expensive damage if not caught early. I'm glad I was able to take preventative action by replacing the regulator. The work was done in a clean and precise manner. All of the workers that came to my house were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The drywall contractor that was used for the leak damage did excellent professional work and I was able to have an interesting political conversation with him. This year, 2020, has been a dark spot for everyone but this service call brought a little positivity for me and my family. Thanks Bob.

Absolutely fantastic!! Called Bob to find out if he could help us because we had a leak in our hot water line. He sent Chris out - he was there in less than an hour - and within a few minutes the problem had been identified. Now to be fair, this was the not the first plumbing company that we called. The first one, sent out by our insurance company, wanted us to remove the kitchen pantry in order to access the hot water line. Chris was able to figure out there was a small crawl space below the hot water heater and that a reroute of the line could go through the attic. No costly, and unnecessary, expenses needed to get the repair done. When the insurance company okayed using RT Olson, Bob sent people out and estimated that the repair time would be about 5 hours. 2 hours later, they were done, we had hot water back and all the dry wall that had been removed was nicely stacked so that it could be reattached and the walls easily repaired. Fantastic!! Will use them again and recommend them to anyone who asks! If you have a plumbing problem - call Bob first! Fair pricing, great service, friendly and knowledgeable repair people. Man what a long process but it all worked out. We had a water leak in our wall from old pipes which resulted in an insurance claim. No other plumber would help us out that night, but Bob dropped what he was doing in diamond bar and drove to Yucaipa to fix our leaky pipe and get our water back on temporarily. Then the real work began. We decided to do a whole house repipe so this would never happen again, Bob and his crew were quick and efficient, the whole house repipe was completed in three days. They handled the mold mitigation, installed a new shower/tub combo in the damaged bathroom, and drywall repair. RT Olson plumbing also stood by the quality of their work. Unfortunately we had issues with the quality of drywall work, which was not RT Olson's fault, and Bob had everything repaired and redone to our satisfaction out of his own pocket. That shows me that he and his company care about his customers and the quality of work. Thank you RT Olson Plumbing!

I have employed them for two projects so far. One was nasty, with a gas leak that required a new pipe to be run. The old gas pipe ran under a concrete slab. Since you really don't want to dig under a concrete slab (who knows what else is under there - 50 year old house), the alternative was through the attic, to the gas water heater, and to the gas stove. Bypassing the old line that was run underground.

The other one was hydrojetting some main lines. Great price, and going through some tree roots that were so bad, they got a sewer snake stuck (another company). Snaking is cheaper, but sometimes you just have to pay the money and hydrojet. It makes the pipes look like new. We did a camera at the same time.

Bob is the owner and is very responsive. He is a great asset to anyone with a house, apartment, or business in the Riverside area. Bob has an amazing roladex, and can refer really good people to help out in other areas.

Bob was amazing. He came in one time to our location to give estimate. We decided to go with handyman and not a plumber to reduce cost. But the handyman messed up. So we called him again and he came to rescue us. And we still messed up with the filter tha we had to put (we bought the wrong one in rush). We needed to reorder, so Bob worked with us did what he could do the best. We then waited for another part to come. He planned to come again and fix it for us. Very courteous and helpful plumber. You don't find licensed plumber who doesn't charge for these many trips. He is totally awesome.

I have used him about 4 times for various projects at my house. And needless to say each project was completed on time. The work space to efficiently cleaned and area left spotless.

Another plumbing issue resolved by RT Olson quickly! Bob was very nice on the phone, got out same day to take a look. Chris came the next day and was there all day working and cleaned up nicely before he left. Our go to plumber now!

Hired RT Olson to install a bath and shower faucet. After charging me $75 to assess the job, workers arrived two days later to complete the requested work. (A day later than originally stated) This Delay cost me $500 with my contractor who could not continue working due to the delay caused by RT Olson Plumbing.

Prior to beginning the job, we discussed in detail where the fixtures should be. The plumber (Ruben) told me that the parts and locations where the faucets would be placed, were satisfactory. Access to the plumbing was wide open. This would make the installation easier.

After working on the installation for several hours, Ruben advised me that he could not install the tub handles in the spot we agreed on. He overlooked the fact that a support beam was obstructing the passage of the faucet handle. He had already drilled a large hole compromising the area that was prepped for tile. (Photo #1)

The shower area had also been meticulously prepared and hot mopped to ensure there would be no leaks. The bath/shower is located on the second floor. Ensuring that it is water tight is imperative! Ruben failed to place any protective paper or canvas down prior to beginning his work. Large splinters and wood chips fell onto the recent hot mopped surface and were ground in by the worker stepping on the debris grinding it into the fresh tar.

I was charged $475 for the installation and job assessment. When I expressed my concerns to ""Bob"" the owner, he told me that he was busy grilling steaks with his family and made no effort to come out to the job site to see the work I was charged for. I exchanged numerous texts expressing my displeasure with the work. And was told ""mistakes happen"".

Use this company at your own risk ! They do not accept responsibility for incomplete/incompetent work and will gladly charge you premium prices for inferior work.
