I have used Roy's for some time now. In the past 3 months I have had 2 sink clogs in different parts of the house. I had a plumber in and he could not fix one and only temporally fixed another that replugged.

Both times I called Roy's and they showed up the same day and fixed the problem quickly. We had 2 guys in on one call- but one was in training and no extra charge.

The young men were polite, outgoing and left no mess. The $150 was less than a plumber wanted including the one who could not fix the problem as his snake was too short.

Jason and Alex came to fix a pipe that was over 40 years old and finally gave out, flooding my garage. They stayed till the job was done, looked for little ways to add value, cleaned the area, and were friendly every step of the way. ROY""S is the PLACE to go for any clogs or drain issues. Hands down! Jason & Tracy both came to my house today, a big van each. They worked on my sewer and toilet & made a terrible problem better than ever. They both have been to my house separately over the years to clear roots from the line to the street. Today, they were here ready to take my huge problem on, and they did. Awesome job guys! I had two experiences with Roy's sewer service. The first involved snaking my kitchen drain. The job was fine.

Recently I had toilets not flushing and shower drains backed up (feces in my showers). Two men appear at my home at $150/hr per man. I was notified of this cost. I was not happy about the price, but I was desperate. After seeing what was involved in snaking the drain, one man probably could have done this job. If he needed assistance, the work the second man performed, involved very little work or skill. The rate for the second man should not have been more than $30/hr.

My major complaint is the men took no precautions to keep my house clean until I requested they wear booties. I did not realize I would also have to request they keep the area free of feces. My toilet was removed, snake inserted and withdrawn from the hole many times for at least ten minutes. Each time feces flew around the area: the wall behind the toilet, the shower enclosure, the cabinet, some reached my light switch. The workers did not take enough precautions to keep the work area clean. Only a drop cloth was laid on part of the floor. Plastic should have been used to keep the entire area clean. They had no cleaning supplies with them to sanitize the area. I asked if they did and the answer was no. I handed them Lysol wipes. They used a few, but not enough. I ended up having to clean the areas I mentioned earlier. However, once the toilet was rehung, the feces was very difficult to clean behind the toilet. One other unsanitary condition still existed, I do not remember them wearing gloves. I wonder if they washed their hands after the job was done. My guess is, that is how the light switch got the feces on it.

The good news was 1. the toilet & shower drains were cleaned out. 2. They did come when they promised they would. The bad news was the area was not sanitary when they left. The job cost $600, more than I think the job should have cost. They did have difficulty finding a clean out on the property, because there was no clean out. This job took a few extra steps, but it still was not worth $600.

Thanks to Roy I will be hiring a plumber to install a clean out. I hope Roy will learn to keep the area sanitary so I could give them a 5 star rating. I would not be surprised if the next reviewer will be Roy (the company) explaining what is involved with servicing sewers .

Roy's plumbing came out for me and did a great job. The previous reviews really scared me, but someone referred Roy's to me for clogged drains. I told the person who answered the phones regarding the bad reviews and she told me that guy was fired.

My guys who came to my home, were with in an hour of calling, Roy's sent out Jason and Joe. They were friendly, professional, neat and did a great job! They were here for one hour. Not only did they clean my clogged downstairs drain, they also fixed the water pressure in my sink, reset my garbage disposal and cleaned my upstairs bathroom drains with the extra time they had. I appreciated this because Roys charges you for a minimum of one hour anyways and I felt really good about writing a check for their services.

I would highly recommend Roy's Sewer Service.

Recently Jason and Sean were out to the house to do a routine service. My puppy escaped and they helped me catch him in the rain. It was a lovely gesture. One I really appreciated. Very helpful moving things out of the way to access the clean-out. I recommend them highly.

i like Roy's Sewer Service. Kevin is great. They have always been on time, did good work, and charges have been reasonable. I think the bad reviews are the same person writing them .

Good people and great service. I've dealt with them for years. I suspect most of the bad reviews for Roy's are from people who are a pain to do business with no matter where they go.

I had this company to my home to clear a clogged drain in the second story of the house. It was a weekend so I paid 180 bucks for this service. The shower in the lower level had absolutely NO PROBLEM before they came to clear the clog on the second story. Next day I took a shower downstairs the shower pan filled up immediately and when I called them to report what happened the rude woman on the phone at Roy;s said ""I know what you are IMPLYING but we are not responsible for that problem as it CANNOT have anything to do with our service"" She told me someone would call me to talk to me which, of course NEVER HAPPENED. I would not recommend them to anyone since they were only happy to take my money but not offer either satisfaction or the courtesy of a phone call as promised.
