Technician #1255 (didn't leave name on work order) came out to replace a shower cartridge, install a new bathroom faucet and replace 3 toilet wax rings. He damaged my shower yanking out the shower cartridge with enough force to be heard in another room. He improperly installed the faucet with the drain pop-up not properly working. He said it couldn't be fixed because of the way our sink was installed. We asked to quickly clean underneath the toilet while replacing the wax rings and he said he didn't have time to allow us to clean.

Afterwards, we noticed that the shower spout was detached from the wall. Another technician came out (James, technician #1718) and fixed the issues from technician #1. He re-attached the shower spout. He said that technician #1 didn't have the proper tool which is why he had to yank so hard to pull out the cartridge. He noted that technicians bring their own tools (not provided by Roto-Rooter) and with a proper tool, you don't have to yank hard to take the shower cartridge out. He noted on my work order that the shower valve was improperly removed causing damage. He also fixed the bathroom sink pop-up valve (a fixable problem that technician #1 said couldn't be fixed or perhaps he didn't have time to fix).

All-in-all, my wife and I were very disappointed with technician #1. Technician #2 did a great job. Don't think we'll be going with Roto-Rooter in the future...

I have used Roto rooter on a couple of occasions. They always responded quickly and the technicians that I've dealt with were always professional. I recently had to replace a 17 year old leaking water heater. I am pleased with service I received from this company.

Called Roto Rooter on a rainy Sunday afternoon and they sent a technician within 2 hours of my call. Technician cleaned out the kitchen sink and had to go outside in the rain twice to check pipes underneath. He was very pleasant. I would definitely call them again. Candy who answered the phone had excellent customer service. They also called to let me know when the technician was within 30 minutes of arrival time. Thank you Roto Rooter!

What a pleasant surprise - that on a saturday late afternoon, I get service that fixed my immediate problem of a breach in my sewer line, caused by tree roots.
The service guy ""Junior"" showed up ten minutes EARLY and was done in almost no time. Very thorough and very polite. A bad situation turned into a pleasant experience. What a great guy. Patient and thorough!

When doing laundry water was backing up in a nearby shower. Roto-rooter came out and cleaned the drain pipes for us which solved the problem. Wayne N (tech #3112) was great. He did a thorough job of testing to make sure the problem was fixed to my satisfaction and even left me his direct number for just in case the problem resurfaces. We have used roto-rooter in the past to repair a backed up sewer line caused by roots in the pipe. We've always been pleased with them.

I needed a hose bib anti-siphon raised or replaced as part of my home selling inspection fixes. David Guin showed up about an hour after calling the company and proved me with a free quote. I decided to fix the problem right then, and he had it fixed in no time. Great service! I did get a coupon discount from online, but the prices can be a little expensive. That's why I'm taking away one star. I'm happy to have the problem fixed though, and would definitely trust them to be dependable again.

We had the pipe between our house and the sewer backing up because there as an object down the pipe that was catching the waste from the house. We had another Roto-Rooter person come 3 weeks ago and he advised us that the only way to fix the problem was to dig out the pipe. He assured us it would cost no more than $500. Then the problem happened again and Steve Balogac (1116) and John(2961) came out. They scratched their heads for a minute and then devised a clever solution for a fraction of the cost of digging our the pipe. Wow, I can't begin to express how happy I was when they pulled out the plastic baseball bat that was causing the problem. If I have a problem in the future, I'll call Roto-Rooter and ask for them.

Roto-Rooter is AMAZING!!! The people who come to service our plumbing are always polite and professional, and they REALLY know what they're doing!! This time, they had to come back, because of a small leak in another place, and they did it for free, guaranteeing their work. Unbelievable!!
