I called them for quote to install all new plumbing on gutted house so they don't have any walls to go in or repair and they still said ov 11k they said because there a big company and they have more overhead like that made sense....got it done for 7k do not hire the big company's they think they can over charge for the job just because of there overhead

If I could give a negative star I would. Someone was supposed to come out with a camera on Sunday between 10 and 12. No one called or came. Called around 4 and was told that there was no camera tech around to do it. Couldn't even call to tell us this. Rescheduled for Wednesday between 11 and 1. Again same thing happened. No call and no show. Called around 5:30 to see what was going on. Tried to get in contact with dispatch but no one was available to take the call. The guy told me he would have someone call me back. It is now 9 pm and still no call. Horrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend anyone to use them.

They're good people, a little pricey with hidden fees and quoting systems. Wouldn't have a problem using their services but need more transparency

Gave a high quote but had to get it fixed so agreed on the quote - then they charged an additional $4000 saying the ""Scope"" was larger than expected... Then job ended up being smaller than they initially ended up doing. I contested it and they said I signed a contract and to pay up. Then tried to talk to managers and got nowhere and they reported me to a collection agency. Total racket - stay away from these guys - Now I have it on my credit report even though I just ended up paying in full to wash my hands of these crooks.

Over charged to repair a broken handle on a toilet 250.00 !! His original quote was 480.00 ! Took 5 minutes of work ! Feel like I was completely taken advantage of ! I understand people need to make $ but to rip people off is sad !

Called them to service my gas line. They Never showed up for 4 days in a row. Every time I called them they told me I had to reschedule. Never an apology or an explanation of why they had to reschedule. The last time I called them they wanted to reschedule me for service a week from then. If you do call Roto rooter it's best to have a back up as they will not show up!

The technician didn't ask if I have an access panel and just tore into the wet spot in the cieling instead, which I didn't mind at the time except he didn't tell me that he wouldn't fix the drywall. He could have asked for the access panel and saved me this huge hole in my ceiling if policy was not to do drywall. He also forgot to give me the $75 off as advertised. I got charged for $250 in supplies (for a corner piece and about 1 foot of pipe) which was surprising! I had no idea PVC pipe was so expensive. Overall not getting the $75 off promised by the website was disappointing and feels dishonest, it should be an automatic savings, and I will probably try a different plumber next time.

Unbelievable! Came to check hot water heater. The cost of labor and unit was double what the other companies wanted. Technician not very knowledgeable. Definitely won't be calling them ever again.

Called for an appointment. Not urgent, but they said they'd be out within about an hour. Got a call that they were running late and would text with an ETA, which they did.
Gentleman who arrived was pleasant, took a look at the issue (kitchen sink drain connection to the right side of sink had cracked and needed to be replaced. He said that even the left looked bad, and recommended that both be replaced. What's there now is plastic; said they would only replace with metal because plastic cracks so easily. We originally replaced these ourselves about 6 years ago, but didn't have the tools to easily do it this time, thus calling a professional. Made sense to use the metal, instead.
When he pulled together the quote he said that it would be $358. As I pulled out my wallet, he said, ""that's each, and not counting parts"". When I asked how much to do both, he just said, ""double"". That's $718 in labor to replace drain tops that should max take 1-2 hours. That's a $358 / hour labor rate?? When I asked how much for the parts, his answer was ""$150."" These parts are available at Home Depot for $10-20 each. Add upcharge for plumbing supply vs. big box quality, and maybe it's double...But $150 for parts that should total $50 and that's a huge mark-up on top of an already outrageous labor rate.
Though I understand the convenience of 'same day service', it didn't need to be, and that price is unreasonable. We decline their service for the job.

Little bit of a mixup and delay when scheduling but they came through in the end. Very careful with diagnosis and clearing of drain. Fair priced and will definitely use again.
