Very informative and thorough, the down side is we had to wait 4 hours for someone to show up because he had complications an another job and no on one else was in the area to come. Which meant we couldn't shower or use the bathroom. The arrival time the said was 11 but he didn't show up, plus on their part is they did call regularly to keep us updated.

They arrived promptly-scheduling the appt. on line was the only good thing about this company. My basement floor drain was backing up. The RR guy spent 15 minutes trying to snake the drain and then he put the camera down. ""Oh, no-you've got a really bad problem-one of the worst I've seen!"". He showed a camera picture of a pipe, completely blocked by tree roots.
He said that I needed to have the entire garage/basement floor jackhammered up and the pipes replaced with PVC. He told me I could never sell the house unless this work was done, and homeowners insurance doesn't cover it. He kept telling me horror stories until I was crying and then he quoted me $21,898 for the job. He told me about their various financing options.
He never even gave me a proper written estimate, and then he charged me $250 for what he had done.
I did call my homeowner's insurance. They were very familiar with this scam. They sent their plumber the next day. He brought heavy duty equipment-snaked the drain about 40ft and it came out clean. Then he used his camera-found NOTHING. Roto rooter must have shown me a camera shot from another pipe-not mine. The honest plumber said that my drain most likely had backed up from too much toilet paper.
If, I ever see Roto Rooters truck parked in my neighborhood, I will knock on the door and tell them what happened to me.

Had some water leaking in the basement, called roto rooter and had technician here first thing the next morning. Very timely, polite and professional.

great professionalism phone/contact wise. Service was messy, didn't clean up, left unused parts behind then charged $360 to change toilet wax and charged for the wax ( 20 minutes to replace the 20 minutes to figure out charge and credit card swiper)
After I returned unused parts I received a $75 discount for????

Called roto rooter for a house main drain clog. Technician came and cleared the clog in 5 mins then charged me $240. He did not clean the entire line like he should have for that price. Drain backed up a second time within 2 days. Another tech came cleared the clog and said he would send a camera guy to inspect the line the following day. Camera guy cancelled first time and didn't even show up second time. Technicians were friendly but you must realize they work on commissions. Call a local plumber instead.

I had a drain snaked yesterday and the technician showed up in a timely manner. The charge was $285 which seemed excessive as I had it done a few years ago for $125. Ironically that same day they had a tv commercial on with a 99 dollar clear any drain special. I called the number and was told someone would call me back in 24 hours. Clearly not the case. Way too expensive and the management is not very responsive. I would call Gillece in the future.

saturday night the pipes stopped working. called roto-rooter and they were there within the hour and spent an hour unclogging the drain. shaun did a great job. awesome. completely satisfied customer!

We had used Roto Rooter for the first time a few years ago in our home and they did a great job!! So naturally I called them back for the toilets in 2 of my rental properties. Once again, Vince.. tech #579 did a great job!! I will refer them whenever necessary!!!
