My landlord approved my shower pan replacement 5/15. Twice ""rapid"" response cancelled my appointment (as if people don't take off work) the first time the part wasn't in (cool I get it) the SECOND time (Wednesday) they didn't show up and didn't even call. I had to call them and they cancelled my shower pan for a hot water heater job.
Nothing ""rapid"" about these people.
Looking forward to changing my review Tuesday IF they don't cancel again.
Owner cussed me out over a review.
Pathetic!!!! For a company that offers ""emergency repairs,"" I received the worse lie to ever be told. I scheduled an appointment for this evening and the window was from 6-8. At 8:26, I get a phone call stating that the technician was sent home for ""emergency reasons""(could've left it at that or not even call and waited until tomorrow). He then continues to state, ""At this time of evening, it's hard to complete the service you need."" My reply, ""if that's a known issue for your company, why wait until 2.5 hours after the opening window to relay the message."" The representative then becomes frustrated with my question. Please help me to understand where did a potential customer go wrong by inquiring about a service that this company offers? If water heater installation is a known issue for your company, why didn't I receive a call VERY shortly after the appointment was booked to provide these details? No, I don't want to rebook with your company. I'd rather pay a few hundred dollars more for another reputable company. You can't stay in business providing horrible service.
If I could leave a minus 5 star review I would.
Horrible communication.
Horrible customer service.
I set an appointment for Friday 5:30-6:30 and was told a technician was available and would arrive within the hour. After leaving work early to meet him at my home i proceeded to wait until deciding to call at 9:00pm after not hearing anything back. The woman who answered wasn't interested in helping one bit and couldn't give any explanation. She answered several times with ""uhhh I don't know."" and claimed she would call me back within 30 minutes with an update. It wasn't until 11:00pm that I got a call guaranteeing I would be priority on the schedule for any time of the day I chose. The man who called assured me I would be taken care of within my window and apologized for the inconvenience. here we are today an hour after my window and I've had to call their call center 3 times to even get a dispatcher in the line and was greeted as if it were a burden I was calling. I received the same ""I don't know"" and ""we'll get to you when we can"" line I've received for two days. this company and local branch is an absolute joke.
It was wonderful, the plumber was very nice
and did a great job. The drains are working like
they use too, no more standing in water in the
bath tub because the water couldn't drain
properly. Thank you for your help.
We had Roto-Rooter out to clean waste tank to our septic and two months later have someone out to unclog waste line again, after looking at Roto-Rooter receipt it said ran line 80' to septic, our septic is over 100' from the house! They did not cleaned the whole line.
LaDiamond E.Our business continues to use Roto-Rooter for all of our plumbing needs. They are very fast, efficient, and always on time. We had a leak underneath a kitchen sink and the technician, Tony, was able to repair it in a swift manner. Tony was very polite and communicative. Thank you!
Stay away from this company. I had tree roots in my sewer line and the guy said it had to be dug up in the street and repaired. I called another plumber out and they cleaned out the line in fifteen minutes. Toto Rooter said it would cost between 6500 and 9000 to repair. That kind of BS is their bread and butter. Stay away from them, seriously.
Hiram A.Rotor Rooter Robbed Me!!
i had no water and when the water was connected I still could not get water out of the faucet. David charged me $400 to change a valve. It took him less than 30 Minutes to do this. He came unprepared he could not turn on the water from the curve. For some reason, he kept showing his plumber's crack, which had me disgusted.
once we turned on the water, there was a leak in a pipe behind the wall In the kitchen. He claimed that he would have to install a new pipe from the elbow at the top all the way down. I demolished the wall to save money and this joker wanted me to move the kitchen sink. He charged me $684 for this job and claimed that this job would have been $1800 and he was trying to save me $$$. The funny thing is that he kind of pulled all of these numbers out of the crack of his ass.
Anything he quoted me was always extremely high! For example, I asked
him about installing a water heater and he said $2,200. Now, a water heater at Home Depot is $400 what is the other $1800 for?
in any case long story short, Rotor Rooter robbed me today but need not worry because David will not get a chance to rob me again!! I will never use Rotor Rooter again!! I hope this company learns from this and treat future customers better.
Suffice it to say 5 hours later and $1000 plus, i still had no running water because David was only interested in overcharging me and not providing me with solutions to my problems. What douche bag!! This is why I feel Rotor Rooter, Dayton, OH robbed me!!!
Wow! way way overcharged for the service. Call another company. They don't charge by the hour, they charge what ever they want for the service they provide. They give you an estimate and say, this is on over estimate but they will make it as close to that number as they possibly can. I just cant say enough how overpriced the service was to just replace a simple sump pump in less than an hour! over over over charged! I called to complain to the technician and he said his supervisor would be calling me.... still waiting!
Casey H.Very fast response time! If you need a plumber ASAP, this is the business to call. I've had to call them multiple times due to leaks, clogs, and sump pump issues. They have been great in treating the leaks & clogs. However, they did not seem to be super knowledgeable about our sump pump - they said we would need a replacement, however, my husband was able to fix our unit after they left. My husband said it was a quick fix after he did some research on the unit. I would recommend this company for anything other than sump pump repairs.
