Worst of the worst. Buyer beware. Scheduled a visit with a two hour window. Called me after window was closed saying someone could be out in an hour possibly. Possibly? ""We have no way to estimate"" ?? Then why are you making commitments you can't keep and creating expectations which you can't meet? Like an idiot I trusted them again rescheduling service this time for a four hour window the following day. Guess what. They called an hour after the window closed to tell me ""we may be able to send someone out in an hour"". I live within their advertised service area (they try to suck in as much possible business on the web and website claiming they cover areas far and wide and appearing as top hit for internet searches in nearby areas which actually have their own root rooter franchises) but suspect this is part of a strategy to discourage business outside of farmingdale despite appearing to agree to service calls. That or they ruthlessly overbook backlog customers on time and show up hours to day late if at all. Either way they've covered themselves and made it work for them and woe to the customer. So yeah schedule service expect them to call well after that window has close and offer to send someone in a few hours. And if you point out that's just plain wrong? Expect an argument from someone w a bad attitude telling u ""sir/man there is no way we can estimate when our technicians will arrive"" a claim in complete juxtaposition so the website which assures you that within a FOUR HOUR WINDOW they can get it right and have some show up. Buyer beware! What else do they lie and cheat about?

Very professional. Called a head of time to let me know when they would arrive. Had to drain the main pipe but completed it in a work like manner. Price was on the high side but work was completed same day I called. Waited to make sure all water was working property before leaving.

Being a first-time homeowner and a father of two babies, I wanted to make sure I did everything I could on my end to prevent any major plumbing/flooding issues from arising. Did my research and decided Roto-Rooter was the company I'd move forward with. Let me tell you, I'm glad I did. Hank (3364) was a pleasure to deal with. Learned that Hank has been with the company for 30 years and that says a lot about the company. To walk you through the process with Hank, he showed up on time at 8 in the morning, when the call was actually scheduled between 8-10am and introduced himself with a genuine smile. This meant a lot as I've tried reaching several master plumbers to no avail. Basically with Hank and RR, I felt assured that I was dealing with a professional group of master plumbers who needed little to no direction from me. The work being done was preventative maintenance on the main sewer line. The work should've taken 30 minutes but not for Hank and RR- he got it done in 10 minutes. When it was time to pay, I didn't even have to look for any coupons because he already looked for everything to save me as much money as possible. What should've been $425, I only paid $275. What I enjoyed most about my experience with RR today is that the employee was on time, experienced, didn't try to sell me on anything, tried to find ways to save me as much money as possible, and he was genuine. What else do you need?!?! RR has definitely earned a customer for life. I would highly recommend RR and would definitely use them again. Thank you Roto-Rooter and Hank- it was a pleasure giving you my business!!

Bill and Duke from Roto Rooter showed up on time and completed all of our plumbing work - no problem. We had somewhat of an emergency, I called and they were here within the hour and on a Saturday.

Called up at 5 PM on a Monday night. They confirmed availability to send a technician within 3 hours. I received an email confirmation immediately and a telephone call 30 minutes before he arrived. The technician Tim (#3745) was knowledgeable and helped diagnose the problem quickly. He performed the service promptly and guaranteed the work for 6 months. I couldn't be more satisfied with their quick response and a job well done.

Had been putting off calling for plumbing service even with slow drains and gurgling noises when washing machine or dishwasher were being used but when the water from the floor drain was coming up with the washing machine I knew it was time. I checked a few places (BBB, etc.) and decided the best call was to RotoRooter. Rich came on time and was thorough and considerate, Sean continued and made sure everything was back in working order. I put off for too many years taking care of the septic tank even though I should have but the two men from RotoRooter explained what needed to be done and did it.

We were definitely overcharged for the service...i was quoted $640 (with taxes) before the job began and the final cost ended up being $760....wayyyy too much. All we had was a drain clog.
