I had customer service check in with me and asked for my information so someone could contact me about my complaint. Sure enough the gentleman called some hours later and ask why I left the review that I did. I did let him know exactly why that I didn't understand why I was going to be charged $1,000 after paying $1,300 some months earlier. He said well we perhaps could have helped you to get some money back, and I told him I asked the person that was installing the water heater what I could do to try to get a refund in this situation as I felt it extremely unfair to have to pay this again. The service guy told me, and I quote""Good luck with that"". I will share with you what I told the gentleman who called me asking me to delete or change my review of their business ""Good luck with that""!

Wayne, tech 3112, came out multiple times to our house after we moved in and I couldn't have been more pleased. He was quick, efficient and explained everything that needed to be done along the way. I will absolutely be requesting him as my tech of choice for any plumbing issues that come up in the future. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Apex/Cary area, you will not be disappointed.

Had a clogged drain in the kitchen sink and garbage disposal. Was able to get service within 3 hours. Service completed in less than 1 hour. Tech, Wayne, was courteous, professional and provided good info on how to treat drains to minimize buildup. Discussed Pipe Shield product.

I give this rating for the tech only, Luke (#644). He was very knowledgeable and walked me through all of the steps for replacing our outdated and corroding toilet as well as the supply line. He gave me many tips and tricks for when I end up doing this myself on our other 2 toilets. He also was very understanding of what a huge expense this can end up being and gave us a very large discount. I gave him a 5 star review. Roto-Rooter on the other hand is EXTREMELY expensive! $205/hr for labor. I am sure you can find less expensive companies, but Luke was great!

Excellent service from beginning to end. I called around 9am and someone was at the house by 11am. John, our technician, was very thorough and knowledgable. We would definitely be calling Roto-Rooter for all of our future plumbing needs (not that we're hoping for any more problems!).

Terrific experience top to bottom.

Noticed water and sludge underneath my 22 year old water heater. Called late yesterday afternoon not in any huge rush. Within 30 minutes, Junior (tech 1213) was at my door and within 20 minutes I had a plan of attack, an estimate and assurance that he and another tech would de-install the old water heater and install the new one next day.

Two techs arrived right on time at 10:00am. Junior (tech 1213) was joined by Wayne (tech 3112). They were very polite and then got to work. They were here all day -- finished up with the water heater in the time they estimated and then replaced 3 outdoor spigots that were over 50 years old!

My house was clean as a whistle and all the debris from the work was cleaned up nicely. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter, and Junior and Wayne in particular to anyone looking for great plumbing services.

To clarify, this review is a bit premature as there is still additional work in progress. For the purpose of this review, i'm only speaking of the original master plumber Scott (#2062) who came out to diagnose and find the leak in our supply line. Scott was prompt in arrival, easy to work with and as honest as they come. He gave us several options including one that would have saved us a significant amount of money if we hadn't chosen to have them do the digging (literally) - he was very quick in finding the leak and even put on a temporary patch that kept us with water this weekend without major loss of water while turned on at the curb. I would ask for Scott again any time we have plumbing needs. He is exactly the kind of service professional you hope will show up when you're having a home repair crisis.

The supply line is now being replaced by other techs with this same company, and I will follow up on my review once the work is completed. I will add that the initial ballpark figure quoted was a couple thousand dollars more than the other quote we received for similar work from a different plumbing outfit in town. After discussing the other quote, they came down significantly but are still more expensive.

To summarize, if you're in a crisis situation as we were (no water at all due to supply line leaking) this company will likely send someone out very quickly, but you will pay a premium for it. They have highly skilled and qualified master plumbers who know their trade well, but I would suggest getting more than one quote if you have any major repair work needed as they seem to be quite expensive when compared to other outfits.

Scott,#2062, was at my house in 30 minutes. We had a leak behind the sink cabinet. He took care of it quickly, explained all my options and their costs. Very friendly and courteous. Corroded pipe was replaced and everything cleaned and squared away. Couldn't be happier with him.
