Came to fix my drains and clean out the Clog. Well they just put pipe tape around the joints didn't unclog nothing and charged me $350.00. Got another guy to come out he fixed everything showed me what was clogged that Roto Rooter was supposed to do and didn't. He charged me $200.00 and everything is fixed. So Roto will be refunding some of my money.

I had a clogged tub and scheduled an online appointment. They said they would be at my house between 8 and 10 am. Needless to say they didn't show up till 1pm. I missed an entire day of work waiting only to bee charged $457.00 to unclog my drain. It took less then 30 minutes. They are a rip off and I'm also filing a claim with the better business bureau.

I do not advise using or even calling Roto Rooter. I called them Monday to schelded service re: my plumber suggested having them use a camera to detect plumbing issue. They didn't return my call until Tuesday to Schedule an apt for that Thurs 11-3. They no showed with not phone call, so I called them at 3:45, the service guy told me he was off at 4:00 and I likey didn't need a camera, because he couldn't access the second floor, but I needed 1at floor access anyway then tried to tell me it was $550, assuming I could not afford the service. He was trying to make excuses for them not to coming to my house. When I challenge him, he said he didn't want to talk to me because of my tone And he was going to hang up. Needless to say I called Earl's pluming and they are coming out and charging only $275. I advise calling Eawl's first.

Roto Rooter contacted me after I left the review and we spoke of the issue. I was issued an acceptable partial refund on the service they provided. They were very professional with the whole process.

The tech went out to my rental property. He did not call with the price and service needed before completing the work like I requested. I asked to be billed since I was at work with a client he said no I need a cc over the phone. Fine. I said give me 10 min let me go inside and get my credit card. He rudely said to me ""10 minutes! I'm on the clock."" Yea well so am I and you didn't even call to get approval to do the repair which would have given me a heads up to expect a payment call!!! Completely finished with roto rooter after that terrible tech. Too bad since I manage 10 rental units and they have been our go to plumber for over a year. Decent timing for them to be an ass to me though, my great local AC guy I've been with for 15 years recently recommended a plumber to me. Bye roto rooter!

Great service from beginning to end.

We had Lester as our service technician. He arrived on time was friendly, cordial and patient. He explain everything that he was doing on detailed and the reason for each step.

They did a super comprehensive check inside, outside and underneath the house trying to find a low flowing leak. He used visual inspection as well as a sound machine. Spend over 3 hours testing everything.

While the price is high compared to a regular plumber. I fully trust their results and hope that our problem can be resolved on the spot.
In addition we will get a written report that can be used to try to advocate the water company if necessary.

Roto Rooter is IMPOSSIBLE to schedule with, unless you are able to sit at home and wait for hours. I had 4 appointments with them this week, missed 8 hours of work. They did not make a single appointment and seemed confused as to why I needed them to show up in the scheduled window of time. In addition to being unreliable with time, they were unable to clear my drain. However, the technicians who came out were very friendly.

The technician, Nick, was fantastic: knowledgeable and upbeat. He was able to fix the problem right away. I was a mess because I had just discovered that the tub in the guest room wasn't draining properly and a guest was arriving right away. I had contacted several other companies for the project and 3 were not able to accommodate my needs; the others didn't even bother to call back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the dispatching part of the service; they told me twice that the serviceman would arrive in 45 minutes, and 3 hours later I was still waiting. I just didn't want to be snowballed; I only needed to know the actual info. And Nick was able to explain why I was given the misleading information. All in all, a positive experience. I would definitely call Roto-Rooter again.

spent $800 to tell me a pipe was broke and Not Fixed! I had a horrible experience, the first person came out to to see why my down spout gutter was not draining. Got my first quote, I think around $150. Of course he doesn't know why after 2 hours of using my water to keep seeing it not draining. So we need to call in another person which will cost another ~$600. Ok, let's do that. Rude man came out, I have a broken drain pipe, gave me little information and didn't fix it. And when I asked if they would provide details so I can get someone else to fix it and not have to go thru this again, this man looked at me like I had 3 heads. I expressed my concern of what I payed for, I know my gutter spout wasn't working so $800 cose me for a ""professional"" to say yes and don't know how to fix.

I really don't like to give bad reviews but I've been consistently calling this company to resolve an issue that they created for weeks and still no response. I had a tub issue where the handle was broken back in June. The plumber that came out responded quickly and switched out the fixture in a few hours the next day. Fast forward to the first week of November, where I realized our ceiling had water damage due to a leaking tub from the changed fixture from a few months ago. I left a message over the weekend and that following Monday, Michael, the regional manager came over to inspect the issue. He assured us that he held his company responsible and will fix the issue. One of his technicians was able to tighten the tub fixture and we were told to monitor the issue. 3 days have passed and we haven't seen any drips, so we called back a few times to figure out what is next steps. They then sent someone to look at the water damage and then that person left. Again, no follow up! I had to take the initiative to call a few times and they then sent someone to set up a dehumidifier to remove the water moisture from the ceiling. Someone came over two days afterwards to pick up the unit and that's the last I've heard from them. This was before Thanksgiving. It's been 2.5 weeks now and I've been calling and calling, and no one can give me the common courtesy to pick up or respond to my phone calls. My tub has been exposed for over 6 weeks with the tile slab removed and it's just sitting in my bedroom. I don't dare to seal it back up because I still have an entire brown spot on my ceiling! It looks like customer service is quite active here, and I would love to see if someone can better assist me.
