The technicians we're professional, courteous, clean & prompt. The 1st tech rodded the clogged drain line that was infested with roots. I give 3 stars because in 24 hrs I had back up again in the tub!Jonathan came the next day(free of charge) & rodded again. He flushed the line a couple times & demonstrated how to hear the water flow all the way to the city connection. Since then I've been free flowing.
Michael S.Kelly (tech #1910) came out to our restaurant in Rogers Park on the north side of Chicago within about an hour. Once he came in he cleaned out the main sanitary line within ten minutes. He also gave us tips to prevent future backups. I was glad that he came quick and we didn't have to stay too late! :)
Very quick and easy to schedule and Chuck was there in less than an hour. Service was excellent and Chuck was a very nice guy. The only bad thing was the price. I should have comparison priced prior to scheduling. But there is a 6 month guarantee included.
Needed to have the main sewer line rodded due to root intrusion. They aren't cheap, but they do show up quickly and always solved my problem.
Susan B.Came within an hour. Nice guy. He's still working on it. I am getting my kitchen remodeled and the contractor said if you don't use the sink/dishwasher for a while the gunk in the drain (grease etc) solidifies, and the RR man independently said the same thing. So he's in there routing out the gunk. I'm just unhappy at the @ 400/that it costs. Ah homeownership..
Eddie P.Nope. Never again. Several times to schedule a service call. Paid about $800 for service and just as the warranty runs out...you guessed it, a problem surfaced from their work. Four Seasons came out and showed me just went wrong with the work done by them. No thanks to Omar at RR! Customer service was bad all around especially by the lady who tried to set up the service which was re-scheduled twice because of mid-communication on their end. Nope, never again!
Roto-rooter was on time, professional, knew exactly what the problem was, and took care of it in a timely fashion. The serviceman, Tim, was polite and put up with a very curious and chatty 9 year old. Only downside was the price, but they did come out the week of Christmas with less than 48 hours notice.
I would've written a really nice review about Kelly, my plumber technician who came to my house 2 days ago. Even after surpassing the 4 hour window of arrival by almost an hour and a half. Unfortunately, after Kelly had ""fixed"" my drain pipe going from my sub pump, kitchen sink, and out of my house that was leaking like a sieve...a new problem arose. I did some laundry last night and the noise coming from my kitchen sink was frightening! Every time the pump would go off in the basement, the water sounded like it was going to explode out of my kitchen drain! No worries, I thought. I called Roto-Rooter first thing in the morning to report my issue. They assured me that the problem would get fixed and someone would come out between 4pm & 8pm so I would not have to take another day off of work. Well, 4pm on the dot, I got a call to cancel my service request & rescheduled for the next day at the same time frame window. Kelly came by at about 5 pm. My husband was there to go over the details on a solution. When I arrived home, I was informed that to correct Kelly's mistake, we would have to pay an additional $300+ dollars! On top of our already outrageous invoice of $562 from 2 days prior!! ($500 in labor and $62 in parts..can you believe it?!) I refused to get involved as I just arrived home from work. As I left them to discuss options, Kelly informed my husband that ""women obviously don't understand plumbing like men do!"" HA! I don't know who this technician/plumber thinks he is but I refuse to deal with a business & employees that treat customers this way. Shame on your company for conducting your business in such a manner. I am very disappointed that I allowed my family to get raped out of $562 for your services. Horrible.
Yuri was very police, professional and answered my questions to the best of his ability (I will be having a camera inspection at a later date) The only reason for 4 stars is the price. He did work with me a little, but I called them again because the price the previous time they were here was comparible to the other company I had out 6 months ago (for a different drain) I think I may call them in the future to save some money.
My neighbor was getting some plumbing issues figured out for a 6pm appointment time. My neighbor told me that he arrived exactly on time. I've found with service people, that is half of the battle, making sure that they show up on time. I happened to be around and asked Pete709 about toilet issue at my house. It kept making a swishing/flushing sound at random times, it was really annoying.
After he completed my neighbor's house, he promptly came over to my house to take a look at my situation. He said he had all the parts and could do it on the spot. He pretty much gutted out the innards of my toilet and rebuilt it on the inside. I'm sure the price was higher than if I shopped around, but the convenience factor was an absolutely plus. I still can't believe that he fixed everything on the spot. That saves me time and time is money.
