Tim arrived on time and ready to go. The shower drain was clogged with hair and in less than a half hour everything was perfect and draining as it should. I would most certainly recommend Roto Router!!

We had a problem with a backed up sewer. They responded on a Saturday and were at the house within 3 hours after the call. The technician did a great job: fixed an issue, explained everything and gave the options of future maintenance.
Price wise they are more expensive then smaller companies, but great in case of emergency that always happens on the weekend.

Was very impressed with service team, Glesian, #2100, was very professional and courteous and was able to address the problem of clogged outdoor downspout. Would definitely recommend! I know plumbing se vice can be quite expensive, I was pleased that pricing was negotiable and more reasonable. Thank you for discount!

Was quoted a service call time of 12-4. Got a phone call at 3:30 saying there were going to be late. 4:45 I had to call the dispatcher and they told me they still didn't have a tech for me.

Thanks for the waste of a Saturday. Someone else will get my business.

Since when did clearing a simple clogged sink cost $400.00. Their prices are ridiculous. Call a local small plummer. They are going to do just as good of a job and charge half that if not less.

Their service is terrible. We were told the tech would be here in two hours. It is now 7 hours and and still no show or call. We have called back several times and they keep telling us they'll be out, but I am not waiting until 3 in the morning. If my basement has been flooded this long I'll call someone else on Monday. They also asked why I didn't call the competitor who is puting in my flood control. I guess they don't want the business.

We had a plumbing issue that led to sewage coming up from the floor drain in our lower level utility room. My husband called Roto Rooter because they are supposed to be known for their good service. They told us that they were sending out a ""master plumber"" due to the sewage issue. The plumber showed up at 9:51 p.m. which was within the time window that they told him so that wasn't a problem. He got on the phone right away with their restoration field supervisor to schedule him to come out right away the following morning to address cleaning up the contaminated area. Great! I was very happy at first to see that they were quick to start getting things done right off the bat. The service call eventually turned from promising to horrifying. After having to pull both the upstairs and downstairs toilets because the snake line wouldn't cooperate, the plumber decided to change machines. When bringing in the smaller machine he decided to first try to run it through the floor drain that the sewage had come up from. He ran his machine through the drain, and then went back to the lower level toilet to try that machine where the bigger machine would not cooperate. After standing in raw sewage that was all over the floor in my utility room, he proceeded to walk with the same boots- without putting shoe covers on- from the contaminated room down the hall to the bathroom. I just about cried when I saw that! During the remainder of his service call in my home he walked with those same boots up and down the hallways in my lower level- which thankfully are tile and easy to clean- up and down my hardwood stairs and upstairs floor to the bathroom. I was absolutely HORRIFIED. I didn't say anything because I just wanted this guy out of my home in the quickest amount of time possible! Throughout the entire 3 hour service call the guy complained several times about how he was on his way home for the night when he got the call and how ""they better not dare ask (him) to do another service call for a long time"" and how he was going to ""go home and get drunk"" afterwards. ""Master plumber"" my ass. Extremely unprofessional, completely unsanitary, and the service call took much longer than it needed to considering the guy kept stopping to talk about completely unrelated things. Once he was gone I found his trash and dirty rags still lying on my lower level bathroom floor too! $555- and that was a ""DISCOUNT"" to have this guy come into my home, snake the toilet and drain, and track feces and waste throughout my new home that we just moved into all while complaining almost the whole time about having to do the last minute service call. I would have argued the price after all of that but I just wanted this guy out of my house and off my property. I was scrubbing and sanitizing my floors in every spot he walked on for a half hour afterwards, just what I wanted to do at 1:15 am after already having a horrendous day. I am completely disgusted with the overall service call and think that I was grossly overcharged for what I received in return.

Rotorooter didn't keep first scheduled appointment customer care specialist did a good job communicating and rescheduling me to have work done. Service tech did a good job unclogging piping.

Update on April 14th 2017-------------
The manager Tracy finally gave me a call back after a ""formal complain is filed"". and that bring my impression of their customer service from zero to NEGATIVE.
She was cold, arrogant and not helpful at all. She ""informed"" me that they have completed all internal investigation and the case has been closed. How can they conduct any type of investigation without talking to the customer first? During the frustrating phone call, All I'm hearing is ""it does not seem like we can come to an agreement/solution"". what agreement did she want to reach? for me to agree that they did a great job and I should not have complained?
No one moved the toilet ever since Roto Rooter set it up (we live in a high rise and anytime a plumber comes in to fix anything it has to be approved and logged in. the problem of leaking is 100% caused by Roto Rooter plumber who simply forgot to put the plastics pieces underneath the toilet while setting it up, and according to Tracy, it is us the customer's responsibility to ""notice"" it and ""report"" it, within 90 days- (here I'm quoting Tracy), instead, it is NOT the plumber's responsibility to perform a decent job from the beginning, because the liability is on us the customers to notice and report. I was simply wowed by her way of thinking and tone of communication as a general manager for a ""successful business that have been in the industry for 80 years"" (here im quoting her, again).

Once again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

I have tried to call them several times and left several voicemail before with no call back, no explanation.
I paid Roto Rooter this location 2010 dollars in 2015 to set up two of my toilets and my tub. Ever since they completed the work I have been noticing a little bit water leaking from the toilet. At the beginning it was not that much so I didn't pay much attention to it. Recently it became worse and bad smell started to come out. I called them asking for an explanation because they charge 250 USD to just set the toilet, they said since the work was done a year ago they cant offer anyone come to fix it, I then explained that the toilet was not moved, it was leaking ever since they completed the work, the manager said they will look into it further and then NEVER called me back.
I hired another union certified plumber to fix it as I did not want to wait anymore, they were surprised to find out that Roto Rooter did not put the essential plastics pieces under the toilet while setting the toilet to the spot and that's exactly what caused the leaking and smell.
I expected quality service when they charge 250 just to set the toilet, instead, I had to hire someone else to fix the problem they caused, and no apology nor any explanation from Roto Rooter.
Please AVOID THIS BUSINESS - bad work and zero customer service. Lesson learned.

Andrew fixed our garbage disposal issue very quickly. I was very thankful for his help after 2 days without a sink, a dishwasher, or a garbage disposal!
