I was quoted service within an hour. It is now 3 hours since I made that call. I just received a call saying that a technician will call within 30 minutes. We'll see what happens as I was told someone would call me within 45 minutes 90 minutes ago!

Our toilets and showers flooded at the worst time possible. With all the panic going on right now and the terrible weather, it was a godsend that Paul from Roto Rooter was here to sort it all out. He was professional, courtesy, patient, and answered all my questions. Even questions I didn't know I had. Would highly recommend Paul and Roto Rooter services to anyone that needs help fast!

We used this company for the flood that happened at my parents house because they were available to come to the site ASAP. I should've followed my instincts but we needed someone pronto. If I could give ZERO star I would. This company sucks!! They're so nice and helpful in the beginning but once they get your money, they do a shoddy job. Also the communication and coordinating sucks, for the overly price you pay you would think they would make the transition as smooth as possible. I constantly had to bother them to see what's going on. Save yourself such headache and go to a local company with good reviews!

I was so upset when my shower backed up and nothing could get the gross water to go down! I called Roto-Rooter and they quickly sent Joseph to my high rise. Joseph was very knowledgeable and helped me by snaking my kitchen sink which he knew connected to where my shower drained! I'm so grateful for the speedy, efficient and quality service provided! The toilet from my upstairs neighbor was leaking into my unit. The owner of the unit called Roto-Rooter and they came out to assess the issue. The initial team led by David Hrobochak, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the upstairs unit toilet sealed off my bathroom installed a dehumidifier and air filter. They proceeded to cut a small section out of my ceiling and found mold. Mold specialist Fainuu Soliai and his team then proceeded to remove and disinfect all affected areas. Both David and Fainuu and the rest of the crew were professional and provided great communication regarding all activities through the process. Really appreciate their hard work.

Due to error with Sears repairman working on our refrigerator, waterline got disconnected and flooded our flooring. Sears repairman called Roto Rooter since we didn't have a plumber to call immediately. They came and repaired waterline, and ran equipment to dehumidify floor that got flooded. Well this took 4-days. Project manager demanded and forcefully tried to get us to give them our credit card before job was completed. Told them I would not give credit card until job completed and I receive an invoice along with pictures. So a week later they emailed invoice and demanded that we pay by end of day. Wanted time to look over invoice and would call back with payment. Got busy at work and then next morning they called and told us if we didn't pay today, they would send us to collectors. Didn't completely understand all the charges on our invoice but ended up just paying for invoice. After paying invoice, invoice was reviewed by someone who came to check our damages and noticed we got billed for equipment service that they did not provide. If this person didn't notice this we would have never known we were being billed for this service which costed $330! I do not recommend using Roto Rooter, as they are not a very trustworthy company and have forceful bully type project managers.

My tenant called to address a really simple fix for a broken shower diverter. Joseph M came to give estimate. Took a 1 min look at the faucet (without dismantling) and gave a $432 quote. Of course, I told him to kick rocks, called the main office in Kapolei spoke to Office Mgr Brandy who apologized and said she'd send out a seasoned tech who would fully inspect, access liability and ultimately repair the diverter. I expressed to her it was now 48hrs later and I needed it fixed that evening for my tenant- I was reassured. Only to find out when I woke up, my tenant said they never came by or called. Four hours later, I just now get a call from dispatch saying they are ready to come out right now and help (tenant is at work). I'm not sure what's going with the plumbing industry but these outrageous quotes, half a** work, and ""I don't have the part in my truck"" tactics for jobs that take less than 15mins are simply ridiculous. I hate companies that are disorganized, dishonest and can't simply do a basic job but want to charge premium prices. Calling another plumber and will update on how much it actually costs and how long it actually takes. (National average $175) Want to crush the competition? Offer fair pricing and prompt professional service. It's really that simple. Never calling RR or Steve's Plumbing EVER again!! Yikes.

Worst Rooter company I have ever dealt with in my life, and I'm a regular user of plumbing services for several rental properties I own. In my 30+ years on the island, this company truly is the least Aloha friendly. My tenant had a blocked toilet. They sent over a super exceptionally rude person with an accent so thick I had to ask him 4 times how much the charge was going to be. He wanted $1150 to remove our toilet and run a snake to unblock it. I literally used the same company 3 months prior and paid an unheard of $350 for the same issue in a different apartment. Now it's $1150? I guess these guys make all their money on commission and they sent over the greediest of workers. I called the manager, and they put me through to a lady, Sandy, who claimed to be the manager. After I explained my issue to her, she put me on hold and transferred me to another guy, also claiming to be the manager. This guy was very rude and just hung up on me. I highly recommend AVOIDING this ""used car"" sales tactic of a scam operation. I've used many companies for 20+ years here over and over and am a very loyal customer to the hard working people on Oahu. These guys need to be put out of business!

I tried contacting local small business plumbers to take care of my clogged kitchen sink. All of those I contacted were not able to come out at all or would come out in the evening. I couldn't wait all day, so, reluctantly, I called Roto Rooter. I was afraid that a large, mainland company would be overpriced and too busy for my small job. Boy was I wrong! Tech Kawika was at my home in 45 minutes and job was done quick. Very satisfied.
