Extremely professional. One call dispatches the right teams of people to Identify all problems, complete the most pressing job efficiently and outlines less time sensitive future steps. RANT: To the haters, call the right people for the right jobs. You don't call a plumbing company with a fleet of commercial vehicles to fix a leaking faucet or stop a running toilet then get upset you paid $400 for 15 minutes of work. Use your independent plumber for that. END RANT. The issue: Sewage backup in two bathrooms spilling into a bedroom due to main line blockage on a Sunday. 24/7 line called. The dispatcher collected as much information as possible and asked questions to complete the picture using layman's language. Two teams dispatched. The first to check the extent of the damage and to determine what kind of decontamination and water cleanup work was needed. The second to unclog then visually inspect the internal system. The abatement team made their assessment, recommended antimicrobial decontamination, outlined what the scope of work was, provided the estimate and scheduled the actual cleanup team to arrive after the plumbers finished their work. (NOTE: bacteria in sewage can live greater than100 hours and the recommended ""home cleanup"" is soaking the surface with a 10 percent bleach solution for 30 minutes which would destroy a non solid surface). The third and final team, cleanup, even took pics and measurements after completing the decontamination. A partial refund was issued based on the actual work done. Each team, professional and friendly. All well dressed in company uniforms. Shoe coverings worn inside the home. All work done thoroughly. At each step, either dispatch or a member of the onsite team communicated when the next team would be arriving. Each team left personal business cards with cell numbers. At each step each team explained what they would be doing and their findings for next steps if necessary with quotes provided for non time sensitive repairs. From the initial call to the completion of all the work, five hours. Six men, three teams onsite. Just under $2,000. 100 percent piece of mind the job was done right. Impressive service on a job that must be considered small for a company their size.

My tenant called to address a really simple fix for a broken shower diverter. Joseph M came to give estimate. Took a 1 min look at the faucet (without dismantling) and gave a $432 quote. Of course, I told him to kick rocks, called the main office in Kapolei spoke to Office Mgr Brandy who apologized and said she'd send out a seasoned tech who would fully inspect, access liability and ultimately repair the diverter. I expressed to her it was now 48hrs later and I needed it fixed that evening for my tenant- I was reassured. Only to find out when I woke up, my tenant said they never came by or called. Four hours later, I just now get a call from dispatch saying they are ready to come out right now and help (tenant is at work). I'm not sure what's going with the plumbing industry but these outrageous quotes, half a** work, and ""I don't have the part in my truck"" tactics for jobs that take less than 15mins are simply ridiculous. I hate companies that are disorganized, dishonest and can't simply do a basic job but want to charge premium prices. Calling another plumber and will update on how much it actually costs and how long it actually takes. (National average $175) Want to crush the competition? Offer fair pricing and prompt professional service. It's really that simple. Never calling RR or Steve's Plumbing EVER again!! Yikes.

The toilet from my upstairs neighbor was leaking into my unit. The owner of the unit called Roto-Rooter and they came out to assess the issue. The initial team led by David Hrobochak, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the upstairs unit toilet sealed off my bathroom installed a dehumidifier and air filter. They proceeded to cut a small section out of my ceiling and found mold. Mold specialist Fainuu Soliai and his team then proceeded to remove and disinfect all affected areas. Both David and Fainuu and the rest of the crew were professional and provided great communication regarding all activities through the process. Really appreciate their hard work.

My dad called them to fix our sink. And they said they will come in the afternoon. So we waited and waited. The guy finally came at 5:30pm. Then we showed the guy the plug up sink. He said he can't fix it because that's not my job. What the heck? This tells you don't call Roto-Rooter! Bad Customer Service!

I was quoted service within an hour. It is now 3 hours since I made that call. I just received a call saying that a technician will call within 30 minutes. We'll see what happens as I was told someone would call me within 45 minutes 90 minutes ago!

I highly recommend Roto Rooter Kapolei. They do honest work and go over all possible options to resolve your issue at the lowest cost possible. They were also the only company we called that didn't charge a dispatch fee on the weekend just to look at the problem. A very BIG MAHALO to Curtis and Matt who serviced our home on a late Saturday. They solved our plumbing issue, which required them to go back to their office to get other equipment, but they did not charge us for this! We're so grateful companies such as Roto Rooter still exist that don't just look at profits but really want to help Ohana.
