I had a leak in my ceiling so I contacted this company because I used them twice before. Come to find out, it was just the shower drain that needed replacing, and this guy Alsm changed $1100 for doing less than 15 minutes of work. I was very angry about this, so I filled a complaint with the company, and my issue was resolved immediately by a very understanding gentleman Louis C. So yes, I will definitely be using them in the future.

Called Roto-Rooter when the tub wouldn't turn off. Called every two hours pushing the appointment. When they did arrive, refused to look at the problem. Don't call them. They leave you in an endless loop of uncertainty. Call a real plumber.

I have been in a long process with roto rooter and it hasn't gone well. I had a back up, they sent out someone to clean it out. it was cleaned out for a few days and then started backing up again so they didn't fully get it out. They have a warranty so I called, they sent out someone else who said he couldn't cover the warranty as it had to be the original person. he tried to charge me another $800. The original person came out and said we need to schedule a camera to be sent down the line. 7 days later I have called repeatedly and they keep telling me the camera guy is coming and he never does. I still think there is a clog in the line, but they aren't trying to fix that. So, so far I have spent $600 and my lines are still backed up flooding my house periodically. I keep calling and no one is showing up. My bathroom and basement keeps flooding with sewage water two weeks since they first sent someone to out to """"fix"""" it.

Pat Swanson, Luis Crispin and Cheryl Moore did such a poor job handling a basic complaint, I have no choice but to believe they were trying to rip off my mother-in-law. I am writing this on her behalf as English is her second language, which I think Roto-Rooter may have tried to use to its advantage. On Oct. 6, Roto-Rooter came out to check her water heater and said it was a pilot light. The tech re-lit it, kindly showed her how to relight it herself and charged her $100. Two days later, she still did not have hot water. She called back. The same gentleman returned and said she needed to have her """"thermo coupler"""" replaced. He did the job and charged $576 but gave her a rebate of $100 for the fee charged a couple days before, so a total of $476. Two days later, she remained without hot water. A new tech arrived and told her this is a common problem with the Rheem model she has. He explained the part is under warranty and she should call Rheem, which she does. Well, Rheem didn't honor its warranty, saying they had no techs available to do the work, so they mailed her the part. She called Roto-Rooter back and a tech came out and installed the part. He charged $598, and he offered a discount from the bad diagnosis a couple days beforehand. But the discount was only $248 -- which is about half of what she paid for the bad diagnosis and the part she did not need. I spoke to Cheryl Moore, who promised she would take care of it before ignoring my calls and emails for days. I then went to corporate where Pat Swanson, who said he was a liaison between the branch and customer, wrote on Nov. 17 that someone would reach out. Luis Crispin reached out to """"discuss"""" the matter, but when I'd call back he was never in the office. I kindly left him a message explaining there was no need to discuss anything. Just send the refund. He kept playing phone tag. Finally, he left me a message saying the money had been refunded. It had not. I told him so. He left another message saying the refund had been processed, this time even sending a weird, unofficial-looking document showing a transfer back to my mother-in-law's card. It never showed up. This went on for WEEKS until January 7 when I wrote Swanson again and threatened to contact """"state authorities, the Better Business Bureau, the PHCC, the state division of master plumbers, review sites and anyone else who can help get ... her money back."""" Only then did we get the refund. Months of wasted time and not so much as an apology. NEVER use this company.

Please!! I repeat please do not use these guys! Total scam artist charged me $450 for parts that were covered by warranty company ...parts that cost $75 total ...to add insult to injury' 4 days later the water heater they claimed to fix went out ..upon further inspection they changed one of the heating Elements and not both called them and warranty covered for a new water heater which they tried to charge me and additional $650 to install which would have brought total to $1700 for a water heater that cost $439 .. I ended up taking it to Home Depot myself and self installing ..took me an hr including draining old heater..these guys are a definite NO and will try to prey on your assumed ignorance and get you for every cent please avoid !! Dishonest and price gouging doesn't even begin to describe them..DO NOT USE THEM !

Received bad service. After repairing my kitchen sink the faucet is still not secured. On the top of that repair guy damaged my hardwood floor making dents, leaving his heavy duty light behind as he was rushing out of the house. I spoke with Luis in corporate office and sent him pictures, no response at all. Even after another email no response, nothing. Will stay far away from this company, you should too.

Initially the service was great. They were prompt to respond and got my plumbing issue under control. But when it came time to put my home back together, I noticed that their demo was a bit careless and they're charging my insurance company over $19k and continue to contact me when I've asked that they deal with the insurance company directly. I found out through invoices that they do charge an after hours fee. I paid out of pocket for the person to fix the bathroom toilet. They did that and told me someone else would be over the next day, but the guy came the same night. Around 11pm. And now I know why...so they could charge the after hours fee. They're very expensive regardless of if you have insurance or not so just be careful and read all paperwork thoroughly before allowing them to perform any work and pay attention to everything they're doing so that you can match it up against the invoice they submit at the end of work.

Called for a slow draining sink. They were very friendly, but charged $548 to snake the bathroom sink (nothing came out, wasn't clogged which I told them before they started) and $80 for drain cleaning solution. Problem is neither fixed the issue. So over $600 and still need to find a plumber that can fix the slow drain.

I needed some work done quick and this company was able to come out and take care of it. The guy that came out took a look at my home and started throwing out outrageous prices for work sooo I just shut up and focused on what I needed done at the moment. Which was a sinkhole pipe that extended outside cut a capped. He quoted me 200$ I smiled and said ok. Took about 5 min. So he wrote bill up and I mentioned that the office told me if I gave 2 can goods it would take 75$ off my bill. The gentlemen looked shocked that I knew anything about this. He explained to me that this didn't qualify for that if he had done a major job like a toilet or PRV it could apply which he told me cost (PRV 900$) hmmm. So I said ok and paid him. I was curious so I called the main office and they explained to me that the work I had done did qualify there were not sure why he said that . I was told they would contact him and find out why and I would receive w call back. So when I gat the call back I was told he explained that the job was really almost 400$ and he took off the 75$ that's why it was 200$. So my response was that he was lying first why is the total not on receipt showing the 75$ deduction. Second why explain to me that my job did not qualify for the 75$ off. Then you make up such a lie when none of the paperwork or conversation match. Is sad that some companies have employees with no honesty and integrity. I will never use this company again and hopefully anyone reading this will it either. I would like to say thank you to the office manager Darlene for her professionalism and great customer service.

Way overpriced service charge. 7 minutes labor to install a $25 part, wanted to charge me $420. I ended up paying $350. Still 200% overpriced. Never again. Plus they missed their 4 hour window by an hour. Technician was great BTW.
