We had a problem the night before Thanksgiving. Our main line was clogged. I was nervous about the poor reviews but we had no choice but to take a chance. First, there was no upfront charge despite being after hours. Ricardo arrived and was the utmost professional. He even arrived again on Thanksgiving morning to finish the job. I'm very thankful for him! Ask for Ricardo and you won't be let down. Lastly, I thought their pricing was fair. They didn't try to rip me off.

clogged toilet This company is only interested in upselling. My clog issue was not fixed so I paid for nothing and still had to call another plumber who actually investigated the issue and fixed. I was skeptical to use this company because of the upselling documentaries of companies like these, and this is exactly what happened they were pushing a 7K cleanout service and were even offering financing and they wanted me to sign off immediately.

Not only did they not complete the job, they left and took 2 of my tools. I Sqear they would take their on grandmother's last dime. It was bad that their tecs kept asking to borrow tools now I have to buy replacements.

The technician that came out was extremely rude. I requested a technician to come out to provide an estimate for an external water leak. From the start when I answered the door, the technician was arrogant and rude. He provided an estimate that was significantly larger than a previous estimate a received. I mentioned to the technician that we're going to use the service of the other plumber because of the price difference. He responded with """"you shouldn't be wasting his time"""", stormed off, and mumbled additional things under his breath. My review is share this experience of having an extremely rude and arrogant plumber from this company.

Great service but very very expensive. Your stuck paying when it's an emergency and everyone else is booked. That being said, the plumber was excellent and took care of a nasty clog on a Sunday.

Had a plugged drain line I needed fixed. Called Rotor Rooter and within 2 hours the technician, Basil arrived and corrected the blockage. His supervisor, James showed up to check on the progress of the work involved. Very satisfied with their prompt professional service. Charges were reasonable for the task involved. Would use them again.

Gosh, I don't even know where to start at. That was something. The only one word - horrible! I would give this company """"0"""" or """"-1"""" if Yelp would allow that. A week and a half ago (on Sunday) I had cracks at a copper pipe which goes to the outside faucet. The both pipe and the faucet are outside, exposed and are at the backyard. I called the company, they promised to send a plumber. After 4h the had come. He was nice, polite and professional. He told me that he needs to break the wall to look inside (I have no idea why - the cracks are exposed and outside) and install a plug. He told that he needs to come on Wednesday to finish the job. I was okay with that. He told me that there would be 1st call discount of $75 and total call $210 + details (this copper pipe and faucet cost ~$25 at Lowe's). That was a bit more expensive than I expected, but okay, I agreed. He made a huge hole in the wall, cut the pipe, installed a plug and cleaned up everything. Fixing the wall back was on me, but looked reasonable. But what happened next was just HORRIFIC! The guy didn't come on Wednesday and also on Thursday. I called Roto-Rooters to ask them what's going on and whether they were going to fix the issue. After going through 3 different dispatchers and explaining my story 3 times I reached to a pretty rude guy who said that the previous guy got sick and promised me to send a replacement plumber. Okay, fine. The guy had come and looked at the issue. He told me that to fix the issue would cost me $540!! Meaning the price just doubled! He told that the it was unnecessary to do cut the pipe and you would need to use some new tech (showed some device) to fix that and that I in fact didn't call his company - it was a different one. They wouldn't do that job like that and now, after the damage, it is $540!!! I tried to explain him that he was sent as a replacement for the previous guy, but he just didn't listen. For ~1h he tried to convinced me that it was a different company - showing me some papers which they would leave, calling to a dispatcher (who was asleep), asking her about my job history which she didn't find. For 1h he was calling different people and they couldn't find anything. I was asking him the same question """"How could you come here as a replacement for the pervious guy if him didn't work at your company? it is not logic to that."""" didn't take any effect - he was circling around showing me the papers, calling people, showing me my ticket without history. After that, understanding that I wouldn't agree on $540 he started changing the price (what the heck?!) 400, 360, etc. The price was jumping back and forth several time, but not to the point at which we agreed with the first guy. After one hour he started complaining that he wasted a lot of time, but company would pay him anyway. OMG, seriously?! What's about me - I also wasted a lot of time (the same amount). Summarizing: horrible, poorly organized, discounted service. Looks like there are no rates there - they will try to extort as much as possible from you up to a pain point and a little beyond (like in emergency healthcare - you don't have much of leverage on them). I will never use them again and suggest you don't.

The HOA called Roto-Rooter for emergency water leak affecting 6 apartments. I'm giving two stars and not one because they answered the phone and sent someone. The Deerfield office sent Adam. Adam took the job and sent dehumidifiers the next morning but didn't have enough for all the apartments so he put what he had in the apartments with the most water. Downhill from then on. Two days later they sent a tech out with dehumidifiers for my apartment. The techs who had no knowledge of where the water was in my apartment placed the humidifiers in the same rooms that had the most water in apartments above me. So there was no humidifier in the room that needed it most in my apartment. I went to the apartment several days later and walls were still wet and you could smell the mold. I removed sections of Sheetrock which they did not do and found mold. Adam told me they don't remove Sheetrock. There was no scrubber in the apartment to clean the air so I had to wear a mask and my eyes watered. This is where it gets good. I called Adam and told him we no longer needed his service and were going with another company and he told me I couldn't because my 84 year old mother in law signed a contract. Imagine that!!! Adam got angry and nasty on the phone with me. He tried to pressure me to keep his company on the job. Honestly, picture your worst experience with a car salesman that uses pressure to sell. That's how I felt. The next day Adam called my 84 year old mother in law who lives in the apartment and tried to turn her against me and told her I was doing the wrong thing and she should keep his company on the job. She immediately called me and told me. Run away from this company!

Call any plumber BUT Roto-Rooter. They don't show up. On Thursday I took the day off to meet a plumber between 10-2... by 4:45 I called to ask what is going on and was told """"someone"""" would be out to my premises. Called back at 6:45 and was told they weren't coming but would be able to come out Friday... it's now Friday at almost 8:30 and I was told that they could re-schedule for tomorrow morning... sure! Sign me up for more wasted hours of waiting for a plumber. Their customer service sucks. This company is useless and unprofessional... they cost me $270 in lost wages waiting for a plumber that was never going to show up. They don't care. No apologies whatsoever. This is business as usual for them. Supposedly the most """"reputable"""" plumbing outfit in So Flo, however; they can't bother to show up. I guess my job was not big enough or important enough. I will make sure that I take by business elsewhere and that every one I know knows not to call this company for anything... ever. I give them zero stars.

very good job. they changed pvc pipe 18ft from mater to main pipe . i don't know normal price. they charge me $575+$4725=$5300.. he used only PVCpipe not change meter not shut off another house. I ask LABOR PRICE? They said unrelated LABOR.. so VERY careful . they said """"that Plumbing job . this is normal""""
