Our kitchen sink drain clopgged and backed up over 30 feet . Stephenson was assigned by Roto-Rooter to service our plumbing need and he did an outstanding job. He was very knowledgable , competent, courteous. He cleaned it out and gave us tips to avoid the clogging in the future. We had a major sewer drainage problem about a week ago. They came out very promptly and snaked the line to get it running again, but seeing sand in the line they warned that it was only a temporary bandaid. A few nights later, the drains stopped up again and this time water was coming up the drains in the shower and bathtub. We called them back, once again the tech arrived promptly (at no additional cost to us), tried to snake the line again but this time it did not work. Upon putting a scope down the line, he was able to see that the line was almost completely packed with sand. I knew at this point that we had a serious problem. The following morning, the jetting technician Artie came out, jetted out the lines, sent in the camera, and quickly found the problem. A pipe had collapsed and needed to be replaced. He called out another tech, they dug up the line where it was collapsed, got the parts they needed, replaced it, and back filled the ground, all before dinner time. Artie was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything along the way so we knew everything was on the up-and-up. Our previous costs were even credited toward the final bill. We couldn't be happier with the service we received and we are now confident that the sewer lines at our new home will work flawlessly for years to come. Main water line broke in front of condo, underground, under driveway. It was noon, i called 5 plumbers, nobody would come until next day. Roto-rooter came within an hour. We had some bad weather, and a t-fitting had to be gotten from the warehouse, yet my service guy stated all day, till midnight. Vincent dug up asphalt, made sure leak was from correct spot, shut off water, waited for major rain, set up lights for night work, built pipe replacement, made sure no leads, didnt leave till midnight. Stuck with me the whole day. Price was IMHO a little high, but I am very satisfied. I need to get someone to repair the driveway now, but they filled in hole and flattened everything out. Just need some asphalt topping repair. I would call them again.

Update 9/20/2017 A specialist reached out to me to hear my concerns and tried to help me as Best as he can. I'm glad that the company is willing to make sure heir customers are satisfied and will try to rectify if they aren't so I am changing the rating of the review based on their customer resolution satisfaction After hurricane Irma, our toilet downstairs started to overflow with water. We called roto rooter and unfortunately they only had an apt the next day. The technician, earl, was able to come over a little earlier than the scheduled time. What I do like about roto rooter is that they assess the situation and give you different solutions; you can either choose them to continue or you can say no thank you and they will not charge you. I don't know too much about plumbing, but earl told my husband they were not able to snake the toilet from the outside (which would be cheaper) so the only option is to snake it from the inside (move the toilet and snake it). We really didn't have a choice at this point to get different quotes so we told them to go ahead. They did fix the problem and told us to contact the city of boca because they believe the city lines were clogged as well and the city needs to handle it. They have a 6 month guarantee; if the same problem occurs within 6 months, they will come back to fix it for free. What makes me question their solutions is the possibility the technician profiled my husband. They can tell we don't know what we are doing and I somehow feel that they told us the cheaper option to snake from the outside wasn't possible so they can make an extra buck. I looked at the bill and over 480 dollars was for labor. The parts were $3.84. Overall, they fixed the situation, but next time I will be more patient and get different quotes

Roto-Rooter sent a representative to my home to assess the situation. The person determined a $335 per hour service with a minimum of two hours was required. After two hours the problem was still there. Representatives were pleasant and arrived within the two hour window, thus the two star score. Otherwise I am disappointed with the experience.

Let me waiting all day, even thou they called to confirm the appoinment several timnes during the day, then got a call to say they wer enot able to make it and need to reschedule and their next available appointment was days ahead. Terrible reliability

Last month, this was the 2nd time I called Roto Rooter for service. They thanked me for being a repeat customer. This time, Stephenson was my technician. He arrived and accessed the situation (I am saving you from the details). I mentioned that I wanted a new toilet and bathroom sink faucet (I am too embarrassed to show the old facet). He looked up prices and gave me a quote on the items and the other services I needed plus labor. He then went to Home Depot and purchased the new toilet and faucet (I would not have been able to pick just one - its like me shopping for shoes), cleared the drain and installed the toilet and sink faucet. I am grateful for Stephenson for going beyond. I will be using them again!! It feels good that I know that I can trust a plumber. I did take pictures of the end result :)

We had a great technician come out to our home (I'm sorry that I don't remember his name. My husband had most of the initial contact.) He was clean and tidy. He explained what he was going to do and he resolved the problem with out any high pressured selling. Thank you for getting us flowing again.

Just had the worst experience with this company. I had appt for service on 3/19 bet 4-8pm. I called company at 815p to see if still coming. They said yes, but that tech was running behind. I called again at 1030p to cancel. I could not wait up all night. When I called to cancel- they said can reschedule me for next morning bet 8a-10a and offer me $40 discount. I said fine. So on 3/20 same a prior day no tech. I called approx 1154am to cancel service once again, but just as I was on the call, the tech texted to indicate he was on way to my house. At end of service call tech informs me that could not honor my $40 discount. Beware!
