Miserable. The customer service is non-existent. I specifically asked two supervisors to not cash a check from an elderly woman on oxygen that I was assisting and told the technician to call me before he left. I needed to leave for an hour to have dinner. I NEVER received a phone call and it cost $1,895 to clear a house blockage. THERE WAS NO AMOUNT ON THE INVOICE AND IT WAS NOT ITEMIZED! $600 AN HOUR!! Now for the best part: the elderly woman on oxygen phoned me and asked if I can contact them to verify the amount and cancel the check and put it on her Credit Card to at least get points. I was promised by a Plumbing Supervisor that the check was on his desk and he would call me once the invoice was reviewed by someone (Above His Pay Grade). THEY CASHED THE CHECK AND LIED TO ME THAT IT WAS BEING HELD AND NOW WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS. WE WERE GOING TO PAY AND JUST WANTED THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Obviously, I am extremely embarrassed and frustrated that I could not help my good friend. I feel like we have been robbed before Christmas. I could not have been more cooperative on the phone. Disgusting and Dishonest. Invoice # 117219 Hope this is a wake up call to your protocol And business model.

so I never saw myself writing a review for Roto-Rooter. Maybe I've hit the bottom of the barrell...ha ha ha. But I'll just make this quick. I called them at 10 AM and they said they'd have a technician out between 12 and 2. I got a call at 11:30 and the tech said he'd be here in 45 minutes. Showed up right on time, and after a brief chat , he told us what the potential problem was. We had clogged pipes out to the street. within 1 hour he completely fixed the problem and educated us along the way with helpful hints as well as showing us the root causes of the problem. Thankfully - the problem is fixed and the property owners shouldn't have any more issues.

This company was servicing my neighbor and ran over my mailbox. They said they would send me a check but I never received it and they would not return my calls. They have no integrity. Stay clear of doing business with these people.

We had a toilet clog that no home remedy would take care of so we called a few plumbers. Roto-Rooter came out within 2.5 hours of my call. Steven was extremely professional and quick. The cost was much better than the other company I had planned to have come out. Thank you Steven for the fast/excellent service and for wearing booties in the house ;)

low lying fruit for sellers who need to commit fraud to sell their property. They will not disclose if they have serviced my address before. I just bought a home and less than 2 weeks here and I have major plumbing problems. Even though I own the home, they cannot tell me if they have been here. Great company to use if you want to commit fraud and royally screw over your home buyer. If they in fact serviced my address or provided any unfilled work estimate and have evidence that my seller committed a fraud, they cannot divulge this information to me.

Have hired this company a few times and was pleased. My recent experience has left me a little hesitant in the future. I called at 8:05am to confirm arrival time of between 9:00am to 10:00am. They didn't show up or call. After several calls by my husband they finally showed up five hours late. Took 2.5 hours to replace a couple of leaking pipes. Though they finally took some off the original price we stilled paid 900.00 dollars. I should also mention they wouldn't even look at what was leaking until we paid 236.95. The job was done well just very costly and the late arrival was uncalled for. My time is just as important.

Very over priced ,had then same work done ,there estimate was $1400.had the work done for $650. Make sure you get estimates from a couple of other Companies.

When we first purchased our home, we used a local plumber. I was skeptical to use a company because I was worried about being sold things I didn't need and being overcharged. After making the switch based on needing someone who was professional and responsive, I am very happy. Same day service and always polite and professional. Jessie was no exception. He communicated well, educated me throughout the process and fixed our plumbing issues.

Called Roto-Rooter North Port area to check our water heater. Technician Frank came out on a Friday afternoon and wrote up paperwork stating we needed a thermocouple on the flame sensor replaced, however the supply houses were closed already and we'd have to wait until Monday when they open again to get the part. He then charged us $195 service call fee but said it would go towards the cost of the part and labor when he returned on Monday. On Monday, got a call from James at Roto-Rooter who stated we needed an entire gas control box and the part was $450 but with labor it would be $800 and the $195 that we already paid could not be used towards that price. We got a second opinion and the new company came out same day and charged a TOTAL of $125 for replacing the thermocouple (which was a simple copper tubing) and fixed it immediately! I called the manager at Roto-Rooter to discuss the fact that they tried to overcharge us, with no response or call back. I would never recommend Roto-Rooter. They take advantage of people and are a complete rip-off!

If I could give dirt as a score instead of one star, I would. Worst company to deal with. Had an emergency after hours call they said they would get to in one hour. They didn't get there till noon the next day!! Very rude when I called to get an update. After payment was made and work was finally started... you guessed it, much bigger issue than anticipated and can't get to it till the following week!!! Please use any other company but Rotor Rooter. I have never been more happy that I eventually called a much better company that showed up on a Saturday to finish up the repair.
