I called for sewer line drain problems...they were able to come out and quickly diagnose problem. And it was repaired by the end of the day. The technicians were professional and friendly and walked me through all parts of the process, costs, etc.

I figured I would call a respectable company to assist my tenants needs of having a leaky water heater. I called them to see when they would have a technician come out. They were great at assuring me this would be taken care of same day. Well, my timeframe was between 1:30pm-5:30pm. So, at 6:30pm, I called to see where they were, and was told they are on their way. About 7:30am the next morning, I get a call from a rude representative stating they had to reschedule, and would be there between 9:30a -12:30p. Ok, things happen, I get it. The technician shows up, and we try to show him where the issue stemmed from, and he doesn't even look, and wants to replace the entire thing for the maximum cost (what the manager told me). He tried to tell me the water heater is from 1999. I showed him that it was purchased in 2011, and he admits he was only assuming (what??). He decides to leave (go figure), and I called him to try to give me a breakdown of charges to understand more. I was told he didn't have time to discuss this, nor did he have to justify the cost, and hung up on me! I called the call center and talked to a manger by the name of Chad. He started pointing fingers at dispatch for scheduling, and everything but trying to make the situation better. I asked him how can we make this good since I know it should only cost maybe $700 for replacement, not $1350. He offers $100 off, and has no consideration of how his company has been misrepresented, or how I have been scammed and treated unprofessionally. He then proceeds to tell me he doesn't need my business and hangs up on me too. Sorry, but I will give my money elsewhere, and locally.

Way overpriced! $192 to drain a water heater in Tampa FL. Over $300 to unclog a kitchen drain sink on the right sink side. Over $190 to pop out the round sink drain at bottom of left side of sink and pop in new one since the threads below the drain """"pan"""" were rusted. This is incredibly simple job took less than 5 minutes - way over-priced. Call a local plumber and stay away from franchises.

I called with a drain issue this morning and they arrived around noon and were done in about an hour and a half. The technician, Drini and his trainee, Keli were both exceptional and did a fantastic job. I have used Roto-Rooter before, and though somewhat pricey, they do the job right and stand behind their work. I will always use/recommend them!

Robert Welch came out this morning. He called ahead 30 minutes before he got there. He explained exactly what he was going to do. Cleared the drain and told me what caused it. After he cleared the drain he ran the snake the other way and cleared another spot that could have caused another clog later. What I liked is he didn't just get the job done and leave. He went over an above to make sure everything was as good as it could be before leaving.

I called Roto Rooter at 10:00 pm on a Tuesday night with a backed up shower, over flowing toilet, leaking sink, and frustrated husband . The customer rep, Debbie, was extremely nice and informative. She explained that the technician would be there within 2 hours, and even called every half hour or so to give updates on the service technician's schedule. Our service tech, Darryl, was extremely professional, informative, and arrived at 11:15 pm. He made a stressful night bearable. Darryl fixed the problem and was out by 12:00 am. Roto Rooter is a little pricey, but honestly given that it's 24 hour service, I expected it. I was very happy with the service on all counts, and my plumbing is working now. I would use them again in the future!

I had a bad clog that I could not fix and had problems for years with this drain being slow and occasionally backing up. I gave up and I called other plumbers, was told an ungodly amount of money was needed to fix it and they wanted money to come give an estimate. I called Roto-Rooter and not only did they offer free estimates, but were there within an hour with no extra charge for a Sunday call. The journeyman was courteous and up front with costs and the price was ok. He not only fixed the sink better than we have ever seen it, but he cleaned the mess we made trying to fix it ourselves. After calling Benjamin Franklin and having the guy try to completely rip me off, I called roto rooter. The technician, Robert W., quickly figured out the problem and resolved it for us. He was honest, friendly, and did not charge us an arm and a leg. Very happy with the service and will never call BenjaminFranklin again.

Absolute worst customer service and service ever! I had scheduled services for Monday between 8-10am and had purposely taken off work to do so. It has now been 6 hours of waiting for someone to show up. We have called every hour since 10am to speak with someone and they have all been giving us the run-around saying that they were sending someone out. I finally got a hold of someone with authority from the office, and the """"best he could do"""" was 25% off the service and then he followed it up with """"we won't be able to have someone come out until 4pm"""". I will NEVER suggest or use Roto Rooter to anyone!

20 minutes before leaving for my daughter's high school chorus performance, both toilets and showers were backed up and wouldn't drain. (We live in a 60 year old house, and were NOT surprised!) On our way out the door we called the after hours number of another plumber, and left a message. An hour later we had not received a call back, so after the show we got online and found Roto-Rooter. I was pleased to see that they did not have an extra charge for after-hours, weekends, or holidays. The girl who answered the phone was very pleasant and accommodating, and sympathetic to our plight. She promised service between the time I called (it was 8:30 p.m.) and 11:30. I expected it to be a long night, but was happy that at least our toilets would be flushing that evening. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the technician half an hour later saying he would be there in 30 minutes. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable, and took care of the problem in short time, even with all the quirks of our old house. He also caulked around one of our toilets, which had had a gap between it and the tile since it was installed a year ago. While I always feel like paying for plumbing repair is like literally throwing money down the drain, I am happy with our service and would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone in need of plumbing service.
