Friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Probably does quality work. 24/7 availability comes with cost. If you want something done right now the right way, probably a good choice. I had to decline estimate on pipe work. I kind of understand their price but too high for me. Now will have to wait longer.. but will get to pay reasonable price.

For years I thought Roto Rooter was such a reliable and reasonable company! With all the commercials and ads!Well that was until I became a home owner and needed to use them personally. I'm only giving them 1 star because 2 of the 5 techs we dealt with were decent people. We had a sewer backup up and called them, the first guy came and spent almost 6 hours here to unclog the main sewer pipe. $700 and 2 days later the pipe backed up again! Apparently there was another blockage that he didn't get!!!
During that week, we called them back a couple of times until we got this problem corrected. I'm the midst of all the mayhem we were dealing with, a couple of their guys tried to come out on their own and do the job ""on the side!"" Another one of their guys came out to replace a pipe and charged me an astronomical price, but we needed the work done and I didn't due my due diligence, this time, to shop around. Thought we could trust them, but never again!!! You're better off finding a local plumber who cares about the customer and isn't just trying to rip you off! Roto Rooter is the worst!

We called Roto Rooter on Thursday, March 17th for a clogged toilet. The plumber tried to snake both toilets and ended up scratching both of the toilets which are relatively new. Then he ended up taking both toilets out to ""unclog"" the toilets which cost about $1000 that day. On Friday, our downstairs toilet starts overflowing. By Saturday morning, our entire downstairs bathroom and the children's play room is covered with sewage water from the toilet. We call roto-rooter again. Your team sent out an assessment for water damage restoration services and quoted us about $4500 to clean it up. We ended up having to rip all the carpeting, removing everything from the play room, and intensely cleaning the space multiple times. A plumber arrives and clears the main line and clears the clog which should have been the first thing done on Thursday. This has resulted in my husband taking the entire day off on Thursday, cancelling our plans on Saturday, and spending an enormous amount of money and time to repair damage due to negligent service from your staff. I have never been so disappointed by a service in my life. The amount of aggravation and damage done is remarkable for something that should have been resolved at the first visit.

I called to get a quote to install a new hot water tank in our house. I was told that they need to come out and see the job, although with other plumbers I texted photos of the existing and new heaters, and that satisfied them. The plumber came out and took a look around. He commented that it would be a challenge for him to take the new water tank (Brand new in a box in our garage) up some stairs, through the house and down stairs to the basement on his own. He went to his truck and came back and gave only a verbal quote which was double the 2 other quotes I had. He told me that Roto-Rooter had national pricing and that he must charge what they say he has to charge. This meeting was a waste of time. Why meet me at the house to provide a quote if the prices is always what the price is? I left work, drove 30 minutes home and then back to work, to meet him. In the end I did hire a local, small business plumber who, working alone, used a hand truck to take the 120 lb. new tank up stairs, into house, down basement steps and did the job. He didn't break a sweat nor did he complain about ""the challenge."" Support small business, they have pride.

Roto-Rooter arrived on schedule. The technician Marlon was very helpful and explained the pricing and the details of the repair. I would definitely use them again for a service call.

2 stars rating based on a couple of experiences. Plumber who came the first time was good and I'd give that experience 4 stars. However, the second experience with this Roto-Rooter location was awful and revealed some very dishonest business practices (e.g., tried to charge us more than the high end of their quote, first bill they sent us contained errors and had to be corrected, etc.).

After discussing the problem previously explained, the new manager decided that our position was correct and returned the entire payment to us. He said that it would not have occurred if he was the manager at the time. Such honesty warrants an increase in Roto Rooter's Yelp rating

Roto Rooter was excellent!! Marlon Torres (#2176) was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Marlon explained in detail every intervention that he implemented to resolve my clogged sink. His knowledge and years of experience as a plumber were evident when he needed to try various solutions to fix my clogged kitchen sink. I highly recommend Roto Rooter and especially Marlon Torres.

these guys are great - courteous, ontime, get it right the first time, professional. They are fantastic from the first interaction on the phone - a real people friendly place. When they come to your house - they are respectful and polite. They even should you how to fix it yourself so you can learn in the process. I will definitely be using Rotorooter again. what a great company! I saw their CEO on Undercover boss - i think the great culture of the company starts at the top and everyone else behaves accordingly. only reason for not giving a 5 star is that their prices are a little high.
