Company is a rip off. They would not discuss pricing or hourly rates over the phone. Technician arrived and quoted $500 to unclog a kitchen drain regardless of how long it would take. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Slow tub drain. 2 plumbers tried and no result!
It was a pleasure to watch a pro at work.
Terry just would not give up. Wouldn't work at first but he checked every drain pipe in our home until he felt sure he was on the right path. SUCCESS!
For the first time in a long time, I showered without the water halfway up my calfs.
Would have given 10 stars if possible.

Do not ever take that chance of calling Roto-Rooter. Called them to my home to unclog a bathroom tub and the clogging was worse than before.

I had to tell the plumber (?) to leave it alone and not worth the hassle.

Had to call another plumber so time wasted. Only policy I liked was that you don't have to pay if the problem isn't fixed.

Carl, the tech who came out was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and personable. He explained the issue and what the next steps were very well. He gets 5 stars.
However, the price seemed very high and having to pay the entire amount immediately after service is not right.

Late Saturday night we found water flooding the lower level bathroom from the washing machine and upstairs shower. We thought we had made an online appointment but never got a confirmation email. We called first thing in the morning on Sunday and she put us in first thing. We got a phone call saying the technician was on the way and should arrive within 30 minutes. Orlando arrived maybe 50 minutes after that call. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He explained step by step what he was doing. Our problem was fixed within 90 minutes. I would recommend Orlando and Roto Rooter Stamford.

A gentleman came at the beginning of the time window given to me. I explained the problem and he gave me an estimate of $450 (it was a big problem affecting the kitchen sink not draining at all). I was shocked at the high estimate but said ""Ok but what if you can't fix it/clear it?"" He said that has only ever happened one time in my 16 years doing this and their policy is no matter how long they are at your house if they can accrue the problem there is no charge. So I said ok!
He got to work he snaked and snaked and tried some more. He was here for almost 2 hours, and he was so upset that he could NOT clear the problem. And guess what? NO CHARGE!! So our issue was his second time in 16 years of not being able to solve the problem.
I gave him some cash as a thank you and to get himself lunch etc whatever. But if I ever have issues like that again (I hope not) I will call this company first!
My problem was later solved by septic installation company. Our drywell line was blocked from the outside by tree pressure (which we had to remove) and years of the previous owners junk stopping up the line.

The service provided was that of excellence. The repairman was certainly an expert in his field of work. He arrived and immediately assessed the problem and after explaining the problem and what was required to correct the problem, I gave the okay, and he proceeded to rectify the problem.
