Before I called Roto Rooter, I had tried to unclog my drain various times using various methods; but I was obviously not successful. Manuel came over and I introduced him to my wife and son before he got started. He came in and asked what was going on and told me how difficult he thought the job was going to be based on how my system is setup. He was definitely being modest when he told me this because he unclogged the drain on the first try. My son's bathrtub was also a little backed up and Manuel offered to look at the clog for free so that my son could use it. The best part being that he remembered my son's name. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter for anything related to plumming issues that you may have. My mind is at ease now that I can use all my bathrooms!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Had an appointment window for 1130a-1:30p. Nobody showed up. I called and they said they were behind and would get to me when they could, finally at 6:15p someone called and said they weren't coming after all. Of course all other plumbers are no longer available by that time so I waited around all day when I could've called someone competent. Absolutely horrible customer service do not use these people.

Unfortunately, I had the same experience as many others. I was told I had a gas leak and called this business for a consult. They gave me a four-hour window and unfortunately didn't show up, only calling after I'd waited 3 1/2 hours to tell me a technician wasn't available. I'll be researching another company for this service.

Kyle (4598) did a great job on our clogged drain. He is personable and patient. The price was high, however, he came out within 3 hours of calling, and on a holiday. We are happy with the service. Thanks, Kyle!

If I could negative stars I would. I was needing an estimate for a sumo pump issue. I had them scheduled to come out Saturday anytime between 6 and 10pm. I was called just before 6 and told the were too backed up to get to me today. So they rescheduled for Sunday between 5pm and 9pm. At 8pm I was called and told the didn't have a licensed plumber available to give an accurate estimate. I was told I would have someone there between 10am and noon. 3 calls later, for principle at this point, and I have not had anyone show up to my home. 10 hours past my appointment time. This company is unprofessional and incapable. The lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. I will never use this company again for any service needs. If your reading this, don't waste your time and money. Call a different company.

Would not quote any pricing over the phone, even though I was specific about what I wanted. I decided to make the appointment anyway.

When the guy arrived he was rude, after looking for other problems to fix he eventually diagnosed the problem as exactly what I was asking for. Then quoted $495 for a simple snake of a waste line. This is 4-5x what competitors charge.

After he left I arranged another company to do it for under $100. Complete waste of time from Roto-Rooter.

This company is horrible, of course they can't give you some idea of the expected ball park cost, they want an appointment. I set an appointment took the afternoon off they didn't show and then they called to set it up for the next day once again no call no show. How do people like this stay in business.

All of my upstairs toilets, shower pans and tubs backed up (some with poopy water!). Without blinking an eye, the guy at Ace Hardware told me to call Roto Rooter rather buy the cart of stuff I was going to use to try to fix it. Roto Rooter was fast and the technician, Willie, was super professional and walked me through all of my options. He snaked my shower drain and that took care of the issue. Next time I have an issue I will be calling Willie at Roto Rooter!

First let me say that the tech, Paul (mentioned in another review as well) was great and I was happy to be able to get someone in Sat morning when I found a problem late friday afternoon. However, also as mentioned in other reviews, they can't even talk about pricing over the phone to give an hourly rate (later told 200.00 p/h), estimated cost of a simple pipe snake which they have done for us before. As I learned the whole pricing and negotiation is completely up to the the tech. And its 359.00 for those that are looking for info. Then the discussion starts about discounts, etc. If you need something fast, they do that. If you want something reasonably priced they can't do that. You are paying what attorney's charge & I've never had them at my house for more than an hour, but I am grateful that I can get them there in a pinch.
