Saul , Aaron , David, and the rest of the team were amazing. They responded in a timely manner in the middle of the night when I was home alone. They were very professional and kind. They called and checked in almost every day and also dealt with our insurance company as well. They went the extra mile and helped my husband with thing around the house that they didn't need to do. I had a toilet that kept running 20 minutes after it was flushed. Because it
was after 9PM, I thought I'd turn the water off and call a plumber in the
morning. But ... the to let continued to sound like it was running.

So, I called Roto Rooter and was told that a licensed plumber would be
out within a half hour.

Jason Broadhurst arrived, solved the problem and explained what to do
should this happpen again. He is a great combination of competence and
integrity.

I told him I wanted him to try again and I would pay. he said reluctantly ""I will prob for a few minutes"". I said I will pay for an hour his reply is ""we don't do that"". I got upset and said then forget it if your only going to prob for a ""few minutes"". He said you can't talk to me like that and I said ""you don't want to prob"" and ""So why would I want you to try for a few minutes.
called the office in the meantime he knocks on door and will prob at an amount an hour. I said forget it. why would I want someone to work that doesn't want to. I said well obviously someone called you.

Because my experience with Roto-Rooter was less than satisfactory I wanted to share what I think is a fair, balanced review. At my home in Coachella Valley, one of the area drains on our patio backed up last winter during a heavy rain. I had a plumbing company come out and they spent a couple hours with their equipment trying unsuccessfully to clear the drain for which they charged me $540. After someone suggested to me that I should call Roto-Rooter, I did. They sent a tech out who after assessing the situation said that the drains needed to be cleared from their distal terminus which he could not locate. He instructed me to find the terminus and reschedule an appointment both of which I did. On the new appointment, in conflict with the assessment of the first technician, the second technician said that they needed to try to clear the drains from the patio (the approach taken unsuccessfully by the prior pluming company). They said it would cost $2,450 but if they couldn't clear the drain they would ""consider"" reducing the charge to $1650. While I was aghast at these prices, I reluctantly signed because I have driven 120 miles for this appointment scheduled weeks in advance. To shorten the story, Roto-Rooter did exactly what the prior company had done with exactly the same result ... nothing. The techs worked 2.5 hours on a hot day, but the charge of $2,450 was clearly excessive especially in view of the communication that no clearance would result in a lesser charge. The takeaways for me are that RotoRooter is very, very expensive, and really had no capability beyond what the local plumbing company provided at a fraction of the cost.

We paid $789 dollars to snake two toilets at 7pm at night. It took them 15 minutes once they were at the house.

I have a seasonal home in La Quinta and due to obvious circumstances have not been able to attend to maintenance. I needed a plumber and I needed a plumber fast to work on a Saturday. I was referred to a Roto Rooter by a neighbor. I called them before noon and they were able to send a plumber to my house by mid afternoon. The job was considerably more complicated than was first anticipated but they were able to address all of the issues with the installation of my new washing machine. Technician RAFAEL was fantastic. He was prompt professional and got the job done. Would definitely recommend.
