Update: Lonnie called me to make things right. I appreciate the call and the efforts to make things right with the customer.

I asked them to install a new dishwasher. I said an air gap needed to be installed, they'd have to drill a granite countertop, and could they do that? Sales guy: Sure, no problem. Installation guy: no, countertop could shatter, liability, blah, blah. So I took the afternoon off to deal with this and the new dishwasher continues to sit uninstalled in the dining room.

I just had Mr. Rooter at my home for the first time. Kevin, the technician, listened carefully to my problem and fixed the plumbing problem immediately. Since I had other companies not even bother to call back, I was especially grateful. I would not hesitate to call them again.

If you need service, make sure you ask for Wesley. He is honest and won't rip you off. He gave us great customer service. Wesley is very acknowledged at what he does. We have businesses all throughout San Diego and going to email all our stores to ask for Wesley. Also going to recommend him to all my acquaintances. Told him he should be employee of the year.

I had a leak underneath my kitchen sink where the copper pipe connects to the angle stop. I used two previous companies with the problem not fixed correctly. I called on a Sunday. The gentleman who came out around 2 hours after the call was nice, but somewhat on edge. He explained that the company now has them working on call 24 hours a day 5 days a week, so he was up 24 hours straight. He also tried to sell me more stuff that wasn't needed. We scheduled an appointment the following morning at 8am. I took off time from work, so was angry when no show and no call. The tech. finally called me two hours after our appointment. I had someone else do the job asap at half the price.

They did an awesome job for my BFF (who doesn't *do* Yelp reviews), and highest praise goes out to Ivan & Felipe, and to Ruben! Be sure to check online for any discount coupons.
Note: They seem to have a new phone number from what's listed here on Yelp. The new phone number is 619-596-0888--they are still on Denny Way in El Cajon (Bostonia).

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I waited all day for a technician to come out. The rep on the phone refused to provide a quote and only provided a range of $95-$250 and couldn't tell me if the $50 off offer would apply. Only a technician could give me a real quote which turned out to be the maximum possible for a simple job.
This place is a rip off!

I called Roto-Rooter the first time to schedule someone to come look at a leak I had with my toilet. The gave me a 2 hour window of when they would come. After that two hour window passed I called because i had not heard from them. I was told I was number seven in the que. I told them that I could not use the toilet and needed them to come soon. I was told I would be moved up the que and someone would be at my home within the next two hours. 2 1/2 hours passed and no call. I called to cancel because I had things to do. I decided to give them another chance and the same thing happened. Only this time when I called 2 hours after the two hour window they gave me they told me that my appointment had been cancelled and it was rescheduled for tomorrow. How can you not have people to call customers and let them know that the service will be delayed? Don't waste your time.

First RR told me the plumber would be here at 2:00 p.m. But the time came and went with no plumber and no call. So I called RR at 3:30 p.m. to ask where the plumber was, and was told he would be here at 4:30 p.m. No plumber and no call. So I called RR at 5:15 p.m. and was told it would be ""another two hours."" Huh? Who runs a business like this?

Wesley was absolutely amazing! Worked long hours to make sure that we had everything resolved in a super timely fashion. Moving forward, whenever I have plumbing issues, or have a friend that reaches out to me asking for a plumber, I will without hesitation give them Wesley's info. I appreciate how transparent he was in regards to cost, and also stayed after the job was completed to ask if we had any questions... while also giving us a quick plumbing 101 lesson. Not only was he good at his job, he was incredibly personable. Two really big thumbs up!'
