Very disappointed... was told there would be a three hour window on a Sunday... okay probably standard .... after the third phone call many more than three hours later and after speaking to several people who all told me something different... was told that two techs called in sick... so could we schedule for the next day... okay... then a tech shows up and ready to charge us over 400. to replace a broken kitchen faucet.. we had the new replacement... and which did not include any other work.... needless to say asked the tech to leave.... cannot believe the whole experience... not professional and over charge much.... will never use or recommend again

I didn't use this service yet! But to unclogged a bathroom I need permission of the owner of the house I am leasing it is very weird. Just be aware before you call that you have permission.

Toilet busted in our ancient apartment...Jeff and Enrique came within 15 minutes of my call. Seriously. You can't even order a pizza that fast. And 30 minutes later, they were done. Price was fair and upfront, service was perfect, and they were friendly to boot. Highly recommend these two!

The appointment was made a day in advance for 9:00am - 11:00am. My tenant has to take leave to wait for them. But they did not show up. I called them again and then they finally send people to come. It was already 12:15pm and they are late for more than one hour!!

The job was done well but it cost a lot. The bathtub clog and sink cost me $960.

I was in a hurry to pick up my daughter so I did not have time to negotiate price. Another company had a much better quote, but I use them because of the 5-star review online.

Considering the late show and overcharge, I have to give them 2-star this time.

I needed a real 24/7 plumbing service that answered their phone. Came out on a Sunday and get started on putting my house back into order. Wil call again for anything plumbing related!! Thanks Scott 0163!!!!

I just wanted to follow-up on my previous review that Pat's team did reach out to me and apologized for the issues that I had. They offered me a partial refund, which was so appreciated. Even though the issues could have been avoided, Roto Rooter has been very responsive in hearing what my issues were and winning my business back. They have done just that!

False promises. The first appointment made a day in advance for a 2-6pm, window never showed, dispatch calls me 10 minutes before the window to tell me they won't have anyone until tomorrow AM.... WASTED my day. They ""Schedule"" someone for the next day from 10am-2pm, NO CALL NO SHOW, I call them and ask when someone is coming at the end of the window, they say they will get back to me. Two hours after the window closed on the second attempt, dispatch calls and asks if I would still like someone to come. With 20 minutes left in the workday he assured me I would not have my water heater fixed or replaced today anyways. WASTED ANOTHER DAY waiting for NOTHING. I am livid. If you cannot book and promise appointments DO NOT BOOK THEM AT ALL. I've wasted 2 days... start my new job on Monday and have no time during the week to fix it. Now me and my son are going to have no hot water for a week. THANKS, BUT NO THANKS.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Total disrespect for people's time and must think we are willing to get gouged. Gave us a 4 hour window between 6-10pm on a Saturday. With 3 kids, it's not easy to carve out time but with a broken water heater we needed help ASAP so we bit the bullet. At 940pm I had to call them to find out that a tech couldn't make it. As pissed as I was I agreed to a two hour window the next day. Tech shows at 920, terrible attitude and gives a quote of 3400.00 and made up some song and dance about us having a ""unique"" water heater and that he'd have to drive around to find what we need. Well that wasn't true as we ended up calling Home Depot and they had the water heater we needed less than 5 miles away. Home Depot then connected us with a service that gave a total quote of less than 2000.00 that included permitting, discard of old heater, cost of new heater, and service. The Roto rooter quote also called out a 400.00 permit fee. The service we called directly said permitting in our area was 147.00. Long story short go direct. We are in Burlingame and the honest company we are going with is called Fast Water Heater. I hope this prevents others from wasting time and money in the future.

I was told by dispatch that it would be at least two hours before someone would show up to clean out the clean out. When you only have two bathrooms in a commercial business that don't work, two hours can seem like forever.

Roughly fifteen minutes later Alejandro showed up and asked to see where the problem was. He had everything flowing again in about a half hour. He even snaked the line thirty feet longer just in case.

Having a guy like Alejandro around is a true asset to the Roto-Rooter organization. He was pleasant and very polite.

Highly recommend him and Roto-Rooter.
