Jeff Tech# 6609 was very professional, showed up on time, clean out the drain back to the street. explain everything in detail and what causes the blockage.

I noticed wednesday that I had a leak going on somewhere in my bedroom bathroom. I called my home warranty first to see if they could send help. I was told a tech would call me back in 1-2 days. By thursday I had a puddle in my room and no one was responding to my calls. After calling a number of plumbers, all said something similar to the fact that it sounded like I had a leak in the slab and a someone needed to be sent out to detect the leak. Roto Rooter concord was the first one to give me an appointment for the next day soon after I had called. Friday came along and the Jeff (#6609) comes in and literally saves the day. He was courteous, knowledgable and on time. He actually was at my house the good portion of the day looking for this crazy leak that ended up not only being extremely small but also way up in the wall. He was dedicated and determine to find it and I couldn't appreciate the service more. Once the leak was located Jeff called Al (#6153), another equally professional RR tech, who was able to get the parts needed and fix my tiny leak that was causing major problems. They were both very professional and kind. They fixed not only the leak but also patched up the area of wall (that I will need to fix next) so there wouldn't be a gaping hole in my room, which I also very much appreciated. As a new homeowner I really wasn't anticipating any plumbing/leaking issues that needed to be done for a while but Jeff and Al really put me at ease. I will definitely be using RR for future plumbing needs. Their dedicated techs make all the difference!

Called at 9:30, they scheduled to arrive at 3, but actually were able to come two hours earlier. Jeff (tech #6609) did an excellent job: efficiently assessed the issue, provided a reasonable estimate, and had the problem cleared promptly. Efficient, clear communications, and a reasonable cost to get water flowing properly - definitely recommend the company and Jeff.

I had a really great experience with Jeff (#6609).
I had to call for a last minute complicated plumbing situation where dirty water was suddenly coming from my washing machine when I turned on the garbage disposal that had me completely confused. Overall I'm very pleased with Roto Rooter. They gave me a same day appointment. I found Jeff to be very professional, detail oriented, and most importantly he fixed it! He also answered all of my questions to help me understand why this happened and set me up with a good product to help prevent it in the future. Thanks Jeff!

I made it clear during the initial appointment by phone that the job would require crawlspace work.

I *wasn't* told that this would mean an extra person would be dispatched, at an extra cost of $275 on top of the $310 service call.

I found that out when the tech showed up (nearly 3 hours late, by the way). He couldn't start the work without another guy being there. I mentioned that was odd, because I mentioned it when I booked the appointment. He shrugged.

Then we waited 45 minutes for the other guy to show up.

Then they charged me $585 for one hour of work.

I called the office asked the bill be adjusted to remove the $275 to reflect the fact I was misled during the initial call.

Roto Rooter refused.

I'm never using this company again, and making sure everyone I know doesn't, too.

Pricing has gone up since our last clog, but the service by the technician was great. tech 6600 did a great job getting our line open and cleaned up very well before leaving our house.

We used another company to clear our clean out to the septic tank and never opened it. We called Roto-Rooter in Concord and Al Ramirez and Larry Denton came out. They were very professional, polite, and went out of their way to make sure the service was exceptional. They cleared the drain and knew what they were doing. In addition, they were much less expensive than the other company we used who didn't do anything. We will definitely have Al and Larry come out again with any plumbing difficulties we have again. If there was a way to give more than five stars we would give them 100.

I am a landlord and have used Roto Rooter for years but since franchises have gone corporate there scheduling is horrible. I have stopped using them but will in a pinch. They show up late with no calls saying so or once cancelled altogether after waiting hours until next morning. It was in a 8 unit so toilets downstairs overflowed when upstairs used water. The technicians are fine it is a scheduling problem they have. So be aware your time frame does not mean much

I just closed on a house and when I got the keys I found the house was filled with gas smells. It had not smelled like that before. Something had happened. PG&E came out and determined there was a leak somewhere, so they turned off my gas and told me I'd need to hire a plumber to come out to find the leak and repair it. I called Fidelity Home Warranty and they set me up with a plumber, but they were busy and could get to me in a few days. I cannot live in the house so waiting a ""few days"" is not an acceptable solution, so I called the insurance people and they found Plumber by trade who could come out on a same day emergency basis to get my house tenable again. I was at work so I had to call someone to stand by and wait for them. They waited hours, and they had still not shown up by the time they said they for sure would be there. I called them and they told me they were running late. A call telling me that would have been nice. So the person I had standing by, waited more. Plumber by trade finally showed up after dark and did absolutely nothing. They did not even attempt to find the leak. They didn't get any tools out. Instead they talked about who would pay for it or if it will be covered at all and made excuses why they could not do what they were called out to do. My problem is they were supposed to come out on an emergency call and find the leak TODAY! Not give me the run around about insurance. They also said that due to the Thanksgiving holiday they could get to looking for the leak ""in a week or so"" I cannot even live in my house and they want me to wait another week or so? This is totally unacceptable. Going to call the insurance today and see what we can do. I need this fixed NOW, not weeks from now. I am certain that plumber by trade will bill my insurance for a emergency call out, but in the end they simply wasted everyone's time. Not impressed at all. I'll have to find someone who will actually come out and do what I need, instead of getting lip service.

I set an appointment a day ahead and they never showed up!

I called the next day and gave them another chance.
They gave me a three hour window. While waiting for them they called me and asked if I still needed them....
