Water was backing up in a downstairs bathroom and an upstairs kitchen sink. Very messy, unpleasant, and concerning. I called and had someone out within two hours. I have used this particular Roto-Rooter in Concord for years and have always found the call service (Lucy) and technicians (Robert) courteous, efficient, and timely. They might be more expensive but they are attentive to issues and are proactive about taking care of future issues. The video of the pipe was free and Garrett was clear and informative about how to address the pipe line break and shift.

I called and a nice young gentleman named Joe came out for an assessment. Took a look at my clogged drain and quoted me $595. I then called a local plumber Honrath and Stacey and they completed the job in less than an hour for $200.

Cannot understand at all who would pay the prices they charge regardless the quality of work or any six month guarantee.

Robert was awesome. He was quick to get out here when my hose in the backyard broke. He had the equipment in his truck. He was quick to fix my hose so I could shower and get off to work.

Responded PDQ Problem, toilet flush, technician (plumber?) arrived, diagnosed, went to his truck and got a small auger. Total time of visit was twenty minutes. Charge was $398 Wife argued, price lowered by $75 At this charge, their rate is $800 an hour??? And toilet continues to have flush issues requiring plunging on a frequent basis.

I felt I had really been ""taken"" and would never consider this company again!

Called these guys and they were able to come out and assess the problem, (clogged drain). He told me he'd have to remove a toilet and the cost would be $971. I told him that was too much so instead, he sold me their ""exclusive"" product called 'Pipe Shield' for $88 (plus tax). I tried this stuff in the drains overnight as instructed and it made zero difference. In fact, it smells just like window cleaner....total joke.
Anyway, the next day I called Lett's Plumbing, (located in Concord CA), and they were able to come out right away, did NOT have to remove the toilet, and John was able to snake the drain through the wet bar sink, (underneath), and did not have to pull the toilet. He also had to run a snake outside in the clean-out drain because the clog was so large. But he unclogged it and was in and out in just over an hour for a total cost of $300. Awesome service.
Do yourself a favor and do NOT call Roto-Rooter....they are a total scam company.

back in 2020 we got railroaded into having our plumbing pipes replaced because supposedly that was a cause of our back up....... As of today we still have the problem and we're paying off a $16,000 loan that we had to take out. Oh by the way, did I mention that we still have the problem?, they stated that the city needed to inspect the pipes in case we ever sold the house and we needed certification, oh, it's been two years and we still haven't heard from you guys regarding the city inspection, really, no wonder your reviews on yelp and other places are so bad, and your swindling people out of good hard money.

PS: did I mention that we still have the drain issue? Why don't you get a hold of Christian and ask him what the problems were and helper that I only seen him pull out one 6 foot pipe, I know we have more pipes than that. I really think that you need to respond to this email or we're looking into suing you.

Very disappointed. While the technicians were friendly, they weren't able to clear my clog, kept trying to snake my pipe from the one single location, scratched my washer, dented my dryer, and then gaslit me into believing the clog was cleared but the issue is with my pipes. Well, the clog is definitely not cleared, I was charged close to $500, and they said there's no warranty because it's my pipe issues. Definitely going with a local plumber next time. Thought the big company would have the tools and knowledge to get the job done, but I was wrong.

Called on a Friday to schedule someone to diagnosis my leak at my main water line. Was told nobody could come out until Tuesday. Technican came and diagnosed the problem and forwarded my information to another technician to give me quote on how to much it would cost to replace the connection from the meter to the house without inspecting the property themselves. Estimate was 2-3x of other plumbers in the area. Don't waste your time or money.
