I wanted to thank service technician RAYMOUND RIDRIGUEZ who came to use at 6PM after working in the wee hours with a great attitude and expertise that unclogged our dean and reconnected the pups so we would avoid having the same problem again. He was tremendous in his customer service and was extremely professional since we had been out of service for several hours. Because of RAYMOUND, we are loyal customers of Roto Rooter Paramount!

Heads up. They charge $275 an hour. Complete rip off. $775 to change a small pipe. Please do yourself a favor and stay away and use a company that's honest and won't rip you off.

Terrible experience. Took them two days to come to house. They kept on telling me they were running behind. Finally they just show up at my door. I show them the problem and they look at each other and then tell me that its 190 to check because now its not a quote. They have to look for the problem. What? Wait two days and you don't want to look for problem. NEVER AGAIN!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

On Christmas DAY ... the cleanout clogged with weeds ... discovered it when the downstairs shower drain ""burped"" several times (apparently) and water flooded the bathroom, hall and into my home/office ... I checked the cleanout connection in the garage and there was water ""pooled"" around the screw cap in the garage ...

A friend gave me this business ... so ... in spite of the ratings ... I called and ""Dr."" Andrew, [the plumbing doc] ;-)) appeared about 2 hrs. later ... sure ""enuf"" it was the cleanout ... he ""rooted"" the line and inserted a camera to check for roots ... the pipe is clay and weeds ""know how"" to ""git"" in there ...

While the""burping"" was resolved ... Andrew recommended lining the pipe to prevent root clogging in the future ... which I'll probably do ...

I'm grateful for the speedy response, for ""Doc"" Andrew's knowledge, training, SENSE OF HUMOR, and helping me clean up the water. Andrew is one very ""good guy"" ...

Perhaps, some of the plumbers are not as well trained as Andrew is or are not as client caring ... for me I'm indeed ""a happy camper""

Absolutely terrible technician comes in tells me to snake a line in my bathroom it will cost me $249 went to Home Depot rented a snake for $32 myself took me 15 minutes to complete the job just like I asked the technician what were you going to charge me $249 for terrible pricing never call them again thank goodness for YouTube and Home Depot rental

Just like many of the other negative reviews...

I called at noon and was told a technician would show up in 2-3 hrs. (I was told there were 12 technicians in my area!) After 4 hrs, I was called and told they were running behind and it would be another 3 hrs. But, 3 hrs later (8pm now ) I was told it would be ANOTHER 3 hrs. Or, they said I could ""reschedule for tomorrow"". I asked if I'd be the first visit and was told, ""No. We can't guarantee that.""

I proceeded to call a local plumber, waited an hour, and called Roto Rooter to cancel. When I was asked why I wad canceling, I replied, ""Because I've been waiting almost nine hours for a technician that was supposed to have shown up to my house in 2-3 hrs!""

Called them at 9 am and got a nice lady on the phone who said 2-3 hours. I said great...thank you. 4 hours later they called back to say it's gonna be another 2-3 hours. Not great but ok stuff happens. I just called and it's gonna be another 3 hours. Not ok. If you can't make it just say so from the start. Family has been without water and toilets all day. 9pm still nothing.

Update...technician showed up and restored my faith in humanity. Hector was really great, honest and did a wonderful job all around. The scheduling problem was too much to let go so can't go over 3 stars. But if not for Hector I would have left it at 1 star.

The shower head in my bathroom began leaking so I called my local plumber, and he said that for this kind of job I should go to a company to fix it. I called Roto-Rooter this morning after verifying on their site that they take care of these types of issues. They said their plumber would be out between 9-11am. Peter came to my house right at 9am. He checked out the issue and gave me options to choose from. He tried the easiest (less expensive) resolution first, but it didn't work (he showed me why), and so we had to go with the more complex fix. I am very impressed by his expertise and efficiency. He answered my questions in a very respectful manner and was extremely professional going about his work, AND he cleaned everything up nicely. I'm so glad I went with Roto-Rooter and that they sent Peter out to take care of my issue. It's all fixed now, not wasting water, and my family is good to go. Thanks, Peter!

Editing my review: I realized that the shower head that was installed was inadequate due to the water pressure restriction that it had. I called Roto-Rooter the next morning, and they sent George out. After discussing my options I gave my preferences and he went to the nearby Home Depot, got a much better shower head for me and installed it. I did have to pay for the shower head, and I was fine with that. The new shower head is so much better, and no dripping. I'm very satisfied with Roto-Rooter, their customer service, and their expertise. I'll definitely use them again.

Had the VERY BEST service. Josh Novatlo is incredible. His customer service is outstanding. He was very thorough and found the leak quickly. His attention to detail and care for his work show immediately. While I haven't read any of the yelp reviews, please take time to read this one. Josh was stellar. Totally recommend his services... great guy, stellar service.
