The worst service ever!! I called early in the morning for an appt from 3-5 for stopped up tub/sinks so I wouldn't have to take too much time off work, no one showed. At 5 I called and they said they would send a ""Supervisor"" out. They called me back and said he'd be there by 7 what?! Obviously they didn't have me on their schedule. He got there after 7 , didn't even come in, spoke with my husband outside and said he would have to go through the roof and clear everything for about $500. Are you kidding me?! Took time off work to rush home for that stupid answer?! I'll be sure to tell EVERYONE I know not to call them for plumbing needs!!! What a rip off!!!

Terrible service. Didn't show up on time. That can be understood. It can be a busy service call day. What can't be tolerated is when you're told they will return the next day because another plumber is needed to help fix a leaking faucet. Plumber never returned or called to offer an explanation. After waiting 3 days we called Roto and told them don't bother coming back.

BTW, we called another plumber here on Yelp. He helped us get the parts for the faucet from Delta for free. HE FIXED THE FAUCET WITHOUT ANY HELP. He just charged us for the labor. Just check out my other review to find out who he is ;)

They want $360 for a standard clearing of a kitchen sink. I believe this is at most a $125 job.

So I called Rotor Rooter to fix a mainline problem at my home in Long Beach. They came out on three separate occasions to work on it. They even came out after hours the first time to help. On the third day, the branch manager Jeff Isaacs generously offered to come out and use a camera and jetter free of charge to resolve the issue. The main line had a big problem and they worked on it continually, being very persistent and determined to fix it. And they fixed it! I'm very happy and Grateful for their help, I highly recommend Jeff and his team! I commend all the guys. Thank You Jeff, Andrew, Delfino, Kevin, and Jenson! Yesterday our downstairs toilet and tub was backing up from the main drain line. We called Roto-Rooter. They quoted a 1 to 2 hour response window. They called and were at our house in Rossmoor in 90 minutes. Jose their service tech showed up in a marked truck in a nice uniform. I showed him the issues he ask a couple of questions and laid out a plan to detect a problem. I showed him where the tee clean out port was located in the front yard. He said if there was water there when he opened it it was probably blocked between the house and the street.
Standing water was in the clean out so he got his equipment plugged it in. He cleaned drain toward the house and all the way to the street just to make sure.
He ran to clean out two times and called for a special camera technician to run a camera through the drain all the way to the street to make sure there were no roots or obstructions. Jose was courteous professional answered all of my questions and I would highly recommend their service.

Beware - standard plumbing labor is $250 per hour. Very misleading and defensive when called to discuss.

I am a property manager and used roto rooter when our primary plumber was busy. Usually to unclog a drain it costs $85. Cost over $200 with roto rooter...Way too expensive.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Eric Riley who is a field supervisor for the company. I was lucky enough to meet him when I needed drain clearing. Ever since then I have requested him. He is polite, courteous, and his work product is excellent. I feel that he is very honest and gives a true account of what is going on with the plumbing system. I'm very happy with the honest approach and the work product. I will continue to call Eric whenever problems arise.
