Horrible customer service - Beware of their warranty!! They overcharged me, didn't resolve the issue and didn't honor their guarantee.
The service technician played games and was literally back peddling the things he told me and their guarantee of work. You would be better off doing business with anyone on the peninsula BUT Roto Rooter. If I could give a negative star I would...

We had water running in a toilet and called Roto-Rooter. They sent someone within a few hours and they replaced a valve in about 20 minutes. We were stunned to be billed $280, but paid it. Then 2 months later we received a notice that there was still $18.92 ""past due"". We paid this as well, but how can a company give you a receipt stating you'd paid in full and then threaten with a second bill 2 months later? Beware of this company, we will never use them again.

If I could I would give minus stars. Predatory pricing!!! DO NOT use Roto Rooter. They charge ridiculously high prices and the quality of the service is horrible. They don't follow up, they don't honor commitments and they have no problem being disrespectful. We have several rental properties and had to use them due to an emergency. They were the only ones available ASAP (that should have been first clue). Never again will I use them and neither should you! Read other reviews, lots of them say the same thing about their horrible customer service and ridiculous prices.

Hot water tank wasn't working on a Sunday. Ended up calling Roto-Rooter because no one else answered. Guy showed up four hours late for the appointment, thinking he was being dispatched to a clogged drain. Spent five minutes looking at it and said maybe he can get someone to get me a quote for a new heater because he wasn't sure what the problem was. At least he didn't try to charge us for the visit.

Alejandro (Alex) helped us with a leaking toilet, and valve problems with another toilet and two sinks. He actually had to fix problems created by another plumber from a recent remodel. Alejandro was professional, considerate and efficient. He had to cut into two walls but made the holes as small as possible. It was not an easy job but he didn't hesitate to just get in and get things done. I may have even paid less than using other plumbers because he was knowledgeable and knew exactly what the problems were and just got right to fixing them. He saved me! He also wore his mask because it's COVD time. Highly recommend Alejandro!

Never showed the first request. FINALLY showed the next day after calling 2x. They said they would send a technician for my tankless water heater today between 8-10AM and no show. I called again and they said someone would be there at 2:00...no show....worst customer care communication EVER.

If you consider having them come out when you are most vulnerable and your bathtub and showers are backing up because of a main drain clog and they tell you they can clear it for $1,850.00 then by all means give them a call. They offered no other options but to hydro clear and offer what they call free camera inspection. I found out the next day that any honest plumber would have cleared that main for $200 to $300 dollars.

Cleared the drain no problem there ...but $425.00 for 20 minutes work was ridiculous. Had them out to the house last year, and it was quite a bit less money. The explanation I got was that they sold the company the first of 2020 and the new corporation raised the prices. Did a good job, but only use if you have too much money and you want to part with it. Not to mention that we were given a 45 minute to one hour window for them to show up. After an hour and a half we called them back and was advised that they were delayed by traffic and would be here in 45 minutes. They showed up 5 minutes later, WTF? Plenty of other companies perform this service for much cheaper. Don't pay for name recognition.. Lesson learned never again.

Aaron from Roto-Rooter provided great service. He was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. Best of all he was and able to resolve the clog in our clean out quickly. The price is a bit high hence minus a star, but at least I got good service for what I paid.

After there incompetent work of years of ago on a lateral sewer line. They failed to connect a lateral sewer to the street without changing the old orannberg pipe that had been there
