Had the J trap of my kitchen sink replaced by Rolando who did an amazing job! Rolando also fixed the sink in the guest bathroom last year , so I trust his his work. He is punctual, professional, very knowledgeable and confident in his skillset. The pricing for the job rendered was reasonable and appropriate.

We had to replace our tankless water heater and Roto Rooter's quote was 8200 dollars. The 2 other quotes we got from local plumbers were both 3200. My husband asked for the breakdown and Roto Rooter said that high quote was really just a top limit and if there wasn't anything complicated it would be 5-6 thousand. Still double the other plumbers. If we hadn't asked for a breakdown and just agreed to the 8200 out of desperation, they definitely would have charged that.

Desperate for a plumber my elderly mother called me for the name of someone to call. She had been attempting to clear the clean out for several hours, my father, with Alzheimer's, was not able to assist her, I live two hours away and recalled Roto rooter as the plumbing company my father had relied on for years. I looked them up and texted my mother the name and number. She called them immediately, she told the operator that it was not a hurry, that she could wait if necessary till following day to avoid it being an after hour call out meaning overtime charges. Minutes later my mother got a call that someone would be out in thirty minutes. My mother was happy and texted me that they were on their way. I waited to hear back from her. When she called she let me know that the job was completed in 20 minutes, that all they did was snake the clean out. Simple job. (There was two men, only need for one). She then informed me that she was charged $385 with the senior discount. She said they told her upfront what it would cost, but after having worked on the issue for several hours on her own she really didn't think it could be done in 20 minutes. I was very upset hearing this, I felt she was taken advantage of so I called them right away. Of course there was no supervisor to talk to so I explained the situation and left my name and number. I called four separate times, left four separate messages with four separate operators and still no return call. I then waited thru the weekend and that Monday called again. I explained again to a very nice lady my situation, she apologized that no one had gotten back to me and assured me she would pass along my complaint etc. it wasn't until Wednesday that someone named Mike, called my mother in response to my call, I just happened to be there at the house so my mother ran the phone to me. I explained again the situation and Mike, rudely informed me that it is per job and not an hourly rate, basically it is what it is and that my mother knew it up front. Person ally I believe my parents were ripped off, and knowing that, they waited for my mothers check to clear before they returned the call, and not to me, the person with the issue. I would not use this company in the future nor would I suggest it to anyone. It's too bad people can't be human any more and respect those in need of help without charging an arm and a leg for simple services.

Shower backed up and Roto Rooter had a great technician out the same day. Gerardo Garcia was kind, qualified, and did a fantastic job. Definitely would recommend.

We have an 83 year old house which had its original cast iron pipes which over the years has had to be cleared out many times. This year after cleaning it out again we decided to finally replace it. The technician, Gerardo Garcia spent two days with a partner pulling out the old pipe and disposing of it, installing new modern piping and running a video camera to check all the seams and connections.

One sink that had had prior problems where it joined the main system conttinue to refuse to drain so he returned and reamed that out at no additional charge.
It was a pleasure having him here working on the house. He is so polite and takes the time to explain what is needed and how it will be done. He works efficiently and is very professional but his friendly and supportive attitude makes all the difference.

Called these folks to have them snake a slow toilet. They said they would call or text 30 minutes before arriving. They did not. They were supposed to contact me, the home owner, when they gave the bid, they did not. Then they said it would cost $339! To snake a ground floor toilet!! When I said no, he said, ""How much did you think it was going to cost?"". $100. Then he said he could do it for $200. WAIT A MINUTE. You were going to gouge me for an extra $139???? NO WAY! Don't call these people!

Two slow drains developed on Sat., Kitchen sink and Shower.
I called Sunday and technician Alex arrived to give an estimate.
He was pleasant, and thorough in his diagnosis.
He presented and estimate of $355...for each drain!
(I was told by the office there was no weekend charge).

I had the job done at 10am Monday for 30% of what RR quoted.

Gerardo Garcia was absolutely amazing, he stuck with us til the drain cleared, and it was super tricky... I can't recommend him highly enough...
he is so sweet and accomplished in every way. A very nice man and a very big thank-you for a hard job well done!
