After failure with two companies on Yelp, Octadrus is great and he was able to fix the sewer line backup problem for me. Thanks a lot!

Amazing service! Two technicians, William and Daniel came out to my home to help with water damage and provided the best service I have ever encountered. Both William and Daniel were very professional and went above and beyond their job duties to turn a negative situation into a positive. I cannot thank them enough! I will definitely be calling them again in the future if needed.

Update: Ok Jose to the rescue! He saw my post and responded and helped my situation out. To me, it's all about how people/a company responds to mistakes cus let's face it, we all make them sometimes. I had some other issues come up (it's an old house ) and he was here right away helping me, clarifying things, and opening up channels of communication I feel a lot more confident about. He also consulted with me on the previous issue, and it's gonna save me more headaches and money in the future - way better than what anyone else was jerking me around with. Next time I have an issue I'm contacting Jose directly cus I know he's got my back. Super appreciated! Also, never going back to Alliance lol. But they got their own bad review so ?. But Jose at Rotor Rooter is the man!

When it comes to plumbing stuff, they've been fine. But their water damage removal service? Skip it and go somewhere else. They work in conjunction with Alliance Environmental, and the communication is terrible. Rotor Rooter (update: it was actually an Alliance work order, so I'm putting this on them) just showed up to my house today, but I'm in the Philippines and they should have known that! Their point of contact from Alliance knows that but for some crazy reason they still sent rotor rooter to my house today, calling me while it's midnight here and I'm trying to sleep... Also, they said their dehumidifier would take three days. It took TWO WEEKS and had to be on 24/7. My mom was getting headaches and couldn't sleep. We're going to have to do extra paper work with insurance to reimburse us for the crazy spike in our energy bill from this thing. Also, we had some questions about the bill that seemed off and no one was getting back to us. Eric said he'd call my mom back but he called me. I gave him my mom's phone number (which he had since day one) but still didn't call her. This cleanup process for damages that happened in early November aren't going to end up getting fixed until January next year... and in the meantime that room is just empty and smelly and all the stuff from that room are all over my living room and garage, making my house a mes. So frustrating. Don't go here for water damage and don't let them lead you to Alliance Environmental.
But with actual plumbing stuff they've been fine so I gave an extra star for that. But I'm too mad to give any more.

Roto-Rooter is the most unprofessional organization. They book appointments and don't show up. Their employees do NOT care about customers, push them from one person to another and then finally mislead. I made a huge mistake and will never get back to them . I am amazed how an organization that does not care about its customers survives .

Kevin Garter and Raul Portillo gave great service at our place. They are experts and explained things in detail. We appreciate their courtesy and kindness.

Got an appointment for Saturday, between the hours of 11am to 3pm. Did any show up? No
We called twice to check and was told that someone would be here by 3pm.
Called again at 4pm and Got a supervisor on the phone and NOW he sending someone over, they should be here by five. Unbelievable. Really
Sat around all day wait.

Roto Rooter sent us KEVIN GAETA twice and he is the best! He is professional, kind, patient and truly knowledgeable.
He deserves more than 5 stars!

While I guess that if you have a sewer backup and need to restore damage, you don't have many choices in the area, it's been an extremely unpleasant experience dealing with Roto-Rooter serving Mid Peninsular. Lenadra at its service office with the phone number of 408-739-4979 (x24316) just hung up on me when I asked what caused the sewer backup, whether the problem has been fixed for the long run, and how should we do to prevent it in the future. The bill from its water restoration department is 3 times more than the initial estimate. Its restoration team also damaged walls and doors. When I asked for a detailed breakdown of the huge +$20K cost, the representative mentioned that everything is covered by insurance, ""why do you want to know""... What a horrible service to treat clients who are already in lots of stress with water problems at home!

I had a bathtub clogging problem and called Roto Rooter for a service. I thought this is a national company and they should be fair and capable. First, the charge was $451 based on a flat rate which was outrageously high for a 20 minute job. Second, there is ""NO GUARANTEE"" for the job. When I was in Boston, the similar job is $90-120 and a 90 day guarantee.

Called at 6: 45 pm for a sink repair. Could have done the job myself in 20 minutes but missing a tool. Was told plumber would be at my home between 8 p and 9p. At 8:23 p they called and said they plumber that was coming was stuck on another job. I could have called any number of other plumbers but Roto-Rooter confirmed a plumber would be at my home within two hours. Now have to wait until tomorrow. So... if you want dependability... beware....
