We had a kitchen backup on a Sunday. I called multiple company's and could not get anyone out. This company had someone out in less than an hour. The guy was very friendly and resolved the issue. He also gave us some product to prevent the issue from happening again. We will for sure call them again if we ever need a weekend plumber

TLDR - technician didnt want to do the work and decided to leave us with no water to the house (with a newborn) after waiting all day. Charged us $250 to cut a hole and give us a bs recommendation for needed repairs. Management was unresponsive.
Roto Rooter has always been our go-to for plumbing issues. We moved a few months back. We woke up one morning to a leak in our kitchen and had to turn off the water to the house. We contacted this Roto Rooter in our new area and told them about our issue. We have a newborn and told them it was critical to get someone out and get our water turned back on. They told us they were very busy which we understood and a technician showed up several hours later.
When the technician showed up, he immediately started groaning and complaining about how difficult this job was going to be and made it clear in his demeanor and complaints that he did not want to be here doing anything. He cut a large hole in our ceiling and was only able to identify the area the leak was coming from, but not exactly which pipe it was coming from. He ultimately told us that we need to keep the water off and should get a hotel as he couldn't do anything to help us. He said we would need to punch a huge hole into our upstairs bathroom through the stucco on the exterior of our house and that we would need to get a contractor and attempt to go through insurance which could take days. He charged us $250 for this analysis and left. It was now 5:00 - we made the initial call to roto rooter just before 10:00 am.
I called a contractor the moment the technician left and told him our situation. He was able to send his plumber out to assess the situation (he arrived 20 min after I called). The plumber was able to identify the leaky pipe via the hole that the roto rooter technician made and was able to cap the pipe on the spot and turn our water back on in all of 15 minutes. He came back 2 days later and fixed everything without creating any other holes in our house and said he couldn't imagine why someone would suggest going through the exterior wall and compromising the stucco.
I called roto rooter to tell them the situation their technician left us in and they transferred me to talk to management. Nobody answered so I left a message. I continued to leave 2 more messages the following days and never received a call back.
Needless to say we are extremely disappointed with them.. it seems not all roto rooter locations and technicians are equal and we will definitely never be calling them again for any issues in our new house. Thankfully, we now have a knowledgeable and trustworthy plumber we can go to for any future repairs.

You can see that all of my reviews are positive. I take great pleasure in reporting excellent performance. In this case, the organization did not allow me to do that.
We called them out due to a leak. They tore the home apart, said they found the leak and repaired it. Two days later the leak was still in existence. The home is in shambles and we spent $6800. I am currently waiting for a reply from the manager named Chris.
Here is the account from our Gen Contractor trying to put the home back together;
Terrible workmanship.
Total rookie move, they wrapped a piece of towel cloth around pex pipe to help buffer thru jagged openings.
I question 100% of their work.
Lets hear what xxxxxx Plumbing will do on thursday. 8-10 am.
We will report back on how effective their competition was!!!
It's been about a week and I received initial contact from a manager named Chris. He said he would call me back on Wednesday or Thursday and today is Friday and he has not called back. When I call his number it goes direct to voicemail. I don't think they have any concern about resolving this issue or mitigating it for their company. It appears as if I'm going to have to follow up using a more serious approach.

This has to be one of the flakiest companies we have contacted. My husband called at 8:30 am because our sinks were backing up . They scheduled him 10:30-12:30 that same day. No call no show . He called back a total of 3 times from 1-6 asking if someone was coming . Dispatch assured him yes. Sinks still backed up. I called other companies at 6pm most were closed. Others were now booked . I called back the 4th time and it was a center in Arizona . Trevor talked with dispatch and another gentlemen got on the phone. I asked if this is normal protocol and it's now 7:45 and no one has ""updated "" or called and we can't shower. He was short and rude and talked over me. Said he wasn't part of the previous calls and would send someone in 30-45 minutes . I said well hats what they have said all day why is this different . He said I can send someone or not? I said well yeah I need it fixed . He hung up and it's now 9pm no one ever came .. HORRIBLE customer service and a waste of our day waiting for these people . Populate name maybe but crappy crappy customer service . Actually non existent since they never showed up ..

worst company ever!!!!! scammers!!!!! i called roto rooter. they called me back from this number: 951-405-2820. they don't even deserve one star. i waited all afternoon and no one came. they called and said they would come in an hour. nobody still!!!!!! i finally called and they said since their guy is running late and will come after hours and i would have to pay the night time fee. they wanted me to pay for their disorganization. i said no way. this is a scam!!! to make people pay the extra $80. do not use them. they need help with running a business. professional help!! their customer service stinks more than the toilet itself!!!! for reals!! bozo the clown would have done a better job!!

Had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain, I was unable to clean it out with my hand held snake. Called Roto-Rooter on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. They were very helpful on the phone and Jose came out, he was totally professional and explained everything. Jose got the drain cleaned out at a reasonable price. Completely Satisfied!

Called Rotor-Rooter to unclog the main drain pipe. Technician came and ran his snake to clear the pipe; after working for a while he reported that his snake got stuck by the sidewalk area and could not retrieve the snake. To make a long story short, heavy equipment was called to dig a hole close to the water meter to get to the area where the snake got stuck. At the end the job ended up costing me a little over $2500.
Several months later my neighbor had the same plumbing company perform the identical work. I don't think it was just a coincidence, my gut feeling tells me that is more like a scam that they use to make more money from a simple drain cleaning job.

I had Roto Rooters Plumbers come out to clean my drain, and at first the one technician Michael said $250, and I said no at $250. Michael then offered $200 with 1 year warranty. After the work was completed , the other technician Rodolfo ( Rudy ) said they only offer 90 day warrantee, so Rodolfo was unprofessional and rude and argued with me. He said that Michael was in training, which meant his 1 year warrantee wasn't valid.
I told him he should have corrected him before the work started. I asked Rodolfo to contact his supervisor and he refused and told me to contact him on my own phone. Jerry was Quick to return my call, he said he had to speak to he's technician first. After I received a call from Rodolfo, he offered a six month warranty and I declined. Spoke to Jerry one more time and was offered 1 year warranty. The stress and anguish I went through with Roto Rooter made me extremely upset to have these men argue with me at my own home--made me very uncomfortable.

I called Rotor about 3 weeks ago, back yard was flooded due to rain. I was told they were not too busy and be here in 2 hrs or less. They never came or called. I called them back 2 days later and they said they tried to call but phone number was wrong, they had 909 instead of 951 area code. They came out, got the drain cleared the $250 and left. Now the tech that come out that night for service was very nice. This morning I look out and see the same issue from last nights rain. I called Rotor and told them I have the same problem and the first thing out of his mouth is there is no warranty, did not offer a discount. I said well I need call someone else and hung up the call.

My plumming issue started at 10am.I called a competitor for service ,telling me the wait would be up to 2 hours for plummer to arrive. They called me saying it would be another 2 hours at 12 noon again at 2pm.i was frustrated I call roto rooter the operator say it would be a 2 hour wait. Results the plummer arrived in 45 minutes. Jose gave me a estimate work started completed in 90 minutes. If I had called roto rooter at 10am.I would have enjoyed the rest of the day without worries.
