Would give 0 stars if I could. I requested service online for my gas fireplace/line, Roto rooter called me back and quoted me A THOUSAND US DOLLARS just to come out and inspect the line; Accutemp offered to do a diagnostic for $49. This is absolutely disgusting and whoever called me should be ashamed of themselves for price gouging. Do yourself a favor and don't even waste your time calling these people. Gross.

Great work and very fast!!! Had a drain backing up for a few weeks, but this week it decided to really go bad. Called them and within 2 hours they had someone out here and it was fixed. Excellent service and will continue to go to them for any plumbing needs.

I'm giving two stars, because until my last experience I have been very pleased with their service. A few weeks ago, my thermocouple needed to be replaced on my hot water heater. Upon arrival, the plumber almost immediately was trying to convince me I needed to replace the water heater and told me their bottom of the line units started at $2400. When I asked if he could just change out the part, he said he could for $460.00. I agreed and 1 hour later my water heater was working. After he left, I did some research and discovered this job typically costs $150.00-$200.00. I emailed the company to ask if perhaps I had been taken advantage of. The owner of the company replied that the plumbers manager would be calling me. I'm still waiting. Also, I received a copy of paperwork that had my signature forged on it.

Greetings! I would like to acknowledge an employee at Roto Rooter in Baton Rouge for his professionalism and promptness! Mr. Anthony C. was awesome! It was this past Friday he came out to my apartment and fixed my kitchen sink and unstopped my sink in my bathroom, he even cleaned up the mess! He went over and beyond and I really appreciated him for that! Please see that he is acknowledged in some fashion because of his great work ethic, we need more employees like him everywhere!

Our drains were getting backed up in several rooms and we couldn't use the washer since it was starting to contribute to the drainage problem. Contacted several companies on yelp and roto rooter got back to us very quickly (within an hour) with a fair price. They arrived in the time frame they said and even fixed one of the running toilets while at our house! Very happy with the service we received.

We had a hot water issue at home and our pilot light wouldn't stay up lit up .
we called this company and they replaced the hotwater burner in the attic and charged us more than 900 dollars .
I wanted to get an itemized bill for the parts replaced to file for my home insurance and I havent received it for the last 6 months . I called the company multiple time without help. I hope Mr Shane would check in to it and do the needful.

Came out quickly when called. Left a ridiculous mess behind, but I could have lived with that as most plumbers don't clean the mess left behind. They charged $285 to remove 2 toilets and snake out my line which I was fine with. Two days later toilets & sinks were backing up again. Came out and charged another $185 saying it was a different problem. It's not a different problem. All of my toilets and sinks are slow draining still. I called the office and was told again that the second time was a different problem. Again, no it wasn't and I'll have to pay a second plumber to come fix what Roto Rooter charged me twice to only half way fix. I'll be using a different plumber from now on.

My reason are because my plumber was 25 minutes late, he started at 9:25am and finished at 10:59am that comes to about 1 hr and 39 minutes, that the time to go to the hardware store and get what he had to get, and they charged me for 2 hours , that SERIOUSLY dont add up nor sound right so I will not be continuing me services any longer, thanks but no thanks
