Worst company I have ever dealt with. Will not honor their ""guarantee"". Took four techs to make my drains more clogged than before I called them. $500 later they ""can't do anything to fix it"". Had to call a real plumber. Just start with that and save some money. Not just zero stars, roto rooter you owe me stars.

I think RR cheated me. They charge me $730 to unclog my toilet. $365 per hour. Owner tried to charge me $475 per hour because it was a Saturday. This was a scheduled appointment and I had written estimate that is was $365 per hour. He seem to tried to increase the time by snaking the drain-out farthest from the source of the clogg. I kept insisting that that snake it near the source, but he tried two other locations that is much further away and did not make sense to me. In the end he was able to unclogged the by snaking where I had insisted all along. He used a small machine auger that I have could gotten from Home Depot for less than $300. In sort. I am not happy with Roto Rooter from Brisbane and will never use them again. thanks

William was efficient and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and seemed to care about our plumbing problem. The issue was resolved, with courtesy.

I will make this simple... The guy came too my house last week to clear a simple gutter line in my yard that was maybe 15ft long that was it this was nothing complicated . So then he gives me a quote for $450 for the job , I had a garbage disposal that was clogged in my old house and that ran at least 50ft into my basement and that guy charged me $150 and it wasn't Roto Rooter but the point is either he tried to rip me off because I live i a nice house or there prices are completely out of line . Ridiculous !!

I was ecstatic to receive a same day appointment. Unfortunately I was given 2 possible diagnosis both of which were incorrect. In the process of fixing the incorrect problem a piece of my shower handle was broken and not replaced. I was charged $238 and had no resolve to my issue. $238 dollars down the drain

Pathetic company. You can really tell they are a publicly traded firm. Their obvious focus are their shareholders and not their customers. Called on a Friday for an exterior drain clean out, I am in the Denver CO area. After talking to an obviously oblivious individual who was following their ""script"" of customer service phone instructions, and after this person put me on hold twice to verify they actually did clear exterior drains, I was given a window of 8:00 AM to noon the next day. I did state I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't want to pay weekend/overtime rates the person told me their rates are standard everyday of the week. So the next day I get a call from their supposed dispatch center at 10:30 verifying my appointment. Dispatcher said technician was on his way. Fair enough. Well, after a half hour past 12:30 I received another call stating the techs were tied up and would not get done until after 5:00 therefore would not be to my house that day. Dispatcher said she could re-schedule me for the next day between 11:00 and 3:00. She said she would try to get me a 10% discount for my lost day. I shared with her, fine, I'll chance you can actually make it tomorrow but you try to do better than that 10%. I've been here all morning and you don't call me until 30 minutes AFTER your supposed to be here just to tell me you're not coming at ALL? Anyway, next day they call at 2:00 and say they are on their way. My job, small as it was, (7 ft. of 4"" PVC) to root out was no big deal. Tech shows up and starts to look at the line. He says, ""how about the others down spouts?"" I say ""they are fine, just this one."" So then he says, well for the cost of this one I can clean out all your other ones as well. I asked, well then how much is this? He looked at me, with a straight face, I'll give him that, and said $589 dollars. Obviously I laughed and told him goodbye. But I stopped and asked him if that included my 10% discount 'cause you were about 28 hours late. He said he had no record of a discount. That was a shareholder win......and I will NEVER be a customer to this pathetic company.

Do not trust Roto Rooter plumbing. I hired them to fixed a faucet and was told that it needed replacement. The plumber assigned to my job named Jesse said he would find a right faucet but didn't.
A week later, he asked that I look for a faucet myself or pay him $1500 for his time to look for one. I told him $1500 for him to look for a faucet was outrageous. I asked if he got a PhD from MIT for plumbing, at which point he hung up on me.
DO NOT USE them!!!

Called for a plumbing appointment. They were 100% booked so couldn't even come out the same day. Fine, we scheduled for next day but their plumber came out, sat in his car and couldn't even be bothered to ring the doorbell. I was told to call dispatch to reschedule and they (AGAIN) couldn't come out until the next day which would be a Saturday which would not work since we're in an office building. Dispatcher was pretty rude on top of it. I used to use Roto Rooter on the peninsula and they were great but the SF edition is just awful. Would not recommend.

I was given a 4 hour window between 2 and 6 now 630 and still waiting, Wondering if this is a legit business or some kind of scam. If you can't meet the time frame, you should let the customers know so they can call someonr else.

It was a bit of challenge getting them to come out for a hot water tank replacement . Several bookings were made and eventually cancelled due to emergencies. To my understanding, it's a team of around 20 people servicing Hope to Whistler which is quite the area. Nevertheless, I got frustrated and left a review on Google about the cancellations. To my surprised the operations manager (Joel) reached out to me and apologized and offered to make amends with a free install. Two days later the hot water tank was installed without issue and the plumber was top notch. My recommendation is to schedule on a weekday first thing in the morning. I think you're more at risk of cancellation later in the day as things come up. I would also encourage them to add a few more heads to the team to help fill the gaps. It really is quite disruptive for people to wait at home for hours at a time only to get cancelled on. But I also understand if there's a flood that timing to fix the issue is unknown. Perhaps they need a team for emergencies and a separate one for regular non-risk work. Just an idea. Anyway, I'm very happy with the outcome and glad we got it resolved.
