Rooter Ranger Plumbing
Company Overview
We provide exceptional plumbing and drain services. Our family has been in the plumbing industry for three generations, totaling over 70 years of knowledge. We aim to make our clients feel like heroes and ensure they are satisfied.
Customer satisfaction and delivering top-tier service are my main goals. I began my plumbing journey at 10, guided by my grandfather in a small Iowa community. I honed my craft under my father's guidance as my grandfather transitioned out of the business. I have dedicated nearly 20 years to plumbing, and it is my true passion. I love addressing my clients' challenges and being present when they require assistance. Being family-oriented, I consider my clients part of my extended family.

Peter was the technician
Excellent work,knowledgeable,pleasant gentleman
Thank you and we recommend to other customers.
Time from first phone contact to finish of visit was about two hours. It doesn't get any better than that. Brian, the technician who unclogged our kitchen sink, was professional, efficient and an all around nice guy. The cost was very fair and I would not hesitate to recommend Rooter Ranger as well as Brian to my friends and family. Thank you Brian. Thank you Rooter Ranger.
We made an appointment in the morning and waited 4-5 hours for our plumber. After enough waiting, we asked if they could send a different plumber, who then told us we needed a new toilet. It's frustrating because he didn't fix the issue and still charged us for nothing. On top of that, he tried to overcharge us $1800 for a new toilet. This definitely feels like a rip-off.
Edit: Rooter Ranger proactively called me a few days ago and apologized for my experience. After discussing what might have happened (""potentially poor training of the technicians that were sent out"" is what I took as the final conclusion), they completely refunded all the money I had paid them. I'm amending my review up to 4 stars because of the refund and more so the fact that they did call me, probably because of my initial review (see below).
I called Rooter Ranger because they were at the top of Google's search listings. They came that afternoon, and tried to clear the sewer line from one of our toilets. They used a power auger (snake), but said they cleared the clog but could not go any further because the pipe was ""bent"". Later they came back with a camera and ""verified"" that the 90 deg pipe at the bottom of the ~4ft 3"" vertical pipe from the toilet was in fact ""bent upward"" at a 14 deg angle (how they could measure that so precisely is unknown...). They said the only long-term fix was a repipe costing around $9k. I initially agreed to the service but had second thoughts due to the cost and wanted a 2nd opinion. Asked around our church, and got the name of a trusted plumber, he came out the next day. Amusingly, his power auger (a 30-year-old model) could feed upwards of 70 feet through the line., past the alleged ""bend"". The line is now unclogged. I officially canceled the Rooter Ranger service. So far, 14 days later, no issues, full flushes. $300 for the latter service. Why Rooter Ranger with their ""modern"" auger couldn't have gone further is...well, a mystery. They called me back 3 times wanting me to reinstate their fix, I politely declined. A refund of the down payment on the $9k was issued after a few calls. I was still charged ~$400 for the initial cleaning.
Yes, they were friendly and efficient, but I felt almost like a victim of a complete upsell. Your mileage may vary. The plumber that fixed the issue said that $9k was...err...(let's be polite), ""not consistent with the amount of labor required"".
Larmie M.If you're ever in a plumbing pickle, call Rooter Ranger and thank me later! After a night of my sink turning into a DIY horror show (who knew pipes could be so dramatic?), I surrendered to the plumbing gods and called Rooter Ranger. Within 20 minutes, Fank--the plumbing superhero--arrived faster than I could say ""where's my toolbox?""
For just $33 (yes, you read that right), Fank swooped in, diagnosed the issue, and had it fixed in under 20 minutes! I half expected him to pull a rabbit out of my sink, he was that good. Not only was he knowledgeable and polite, but he also maintained a level of calm that I could only dream of while grappling with a leaky mess.
Thanks to Fank, my Monday morning went from ""flooding despair"" to ""plumbing success!"" If every week could start like this, I might actually look forward to Mondays! Rooter Ranger and Fank, you are the dream team!
Kendal G.We contacted rooter Ranger to clear our kitchen sink. They successfully completed our service and technicians were friendly, respectful of our home, timely on arrival and knowledgeable. We required a second service to hydrojet the drain and were concerned about pricing. A rep for the company named Mark A. contacted us and was very kind, patient, answered all of our questions and quelched any concerns. His customer care was exceptional and based off of the poor customer service that seems customary now a days, is reason enough to choose rooter Ranger in my opinion. Would definitely recommend them for anyone's plumbing issues!
April D.Very grateful that, Ivan F. Arrived fast, very dependable, kept me informed when he'd arrive. Was here for maybe two hours. Got the job done!! Very professional. A+ He also recommended we get a hydro flush. Which we're considering. Very grateful!!
if i can give 10 strs that's what they would get..... so happy with the service the professionalism and the price all 10 stars....
We contacted them to fix our sink. He replaced the valves but then capped it off and restored water to our house. However he did not replace the faucet so no running water to the sink. Charged us 572. How is that fixing the problem spent over 50 min in his truck had to buy parts from Home Depot. Then told us we need to replace all valves in our house and our kitchen faucet for 6555 but no estimate on replacing the original problem. Rip off company that takes advantage of seniors 572 for a repair that the parts cost maybe 20 dollars.
Bob H.Had a leak in our main water line. tech Nick was professional and polite while replacing the necessary parts and did it for a fair price. Will call on them for any futhure needs
