By far the best experience with a plumber. Last time I had my cleanout drain snaked a year ago, it was costly. Having the same issue again one year later, I was still getting quotes for a couple hundred dollars to use a snake for 15 minutes. I get all the overhead costs, but I don't mind paying a lot for bigger jobs. Companies should be relying on repeat customers, not overcharging customers that won't come back for future services. I used Rooter Rangers unclog drain special and will be using them for everything else I will need in the future. They came out the next day (even though it was 8 pm at night), when most plumbers are already done with their workday, and found out exactly why I was having this issue again. We have some large trees out front, and unfortunately roots are beginning to form in our laundry room pipe 50 feet away from where it was being backed up. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Unless you are looking for something minor or taking advantage of a special they have I would not recommend this company. I work for a contractor in the area and was in need of a plumber for a clients home. Not only were they an hour late with no communication but they tried to upsell the client and LIED. The client had a line that needed to be hydro jetted. The first tech came to snake the line and said they couldn't. Expected as this was already done by our company. Then he called a second guy out to run a camera. Why they would not supply each of their plumbers with a camera is beyond me. Especially since we had advised the company it would most likely need to be jetted.

After they had done the inspection they told the client $2200 to jet all the lines and that there was a tree root coming in. They said they would only jet from the kitchen sink and the laundry. Given this house layout this would have completely missed the master bathroom lines.

The next day we had Mr.Rooter come and give an estimate. Not only were they below there price but there was no tree root in the line when they looked!

I understand needing a sales team but to have each of your plumbers be a salesman is asking for issues. If you are looking to call a plumber this is not the company.

Workers assigned to our sewer backflow repair were extremely friendly, timely, and seemed to know their business. However, had to to call them back because they covered the clean outs. Our biggest error was not obtaining a second quote for this work as they seriously over charged us. It's uncontionable to think that this company took advantage of our immediate need for repair, as well as being seniors living on limited income and a veteran. Caveat Emptor: Get a second quote. Don't make our mistake.

As seniors and I am a veteran, we were recently SCAMed by this company.
We requested a drain stoppage to be cleared. They told us the project needed to be started before the insurance adjuster came to inspect, because that's how it works with insurance companies.So we were under pressure to let them start the job.They billed us $22,717 on for what we found out, afterwards, to be a couple of hundred dollar job. They told us our homeowners insurance company would cover the cost and that they work with insurance companies all the time.
So, we said, go ahead and start the work. But, the insurance company DID NOT cover any of the costs. Now, we are struggling to repay this large, surprising
amount of money. We have hired contractors to level the dirt from the holes Rooter Ranger dug, replaced tile and fixed holes in our walls.
After their work, they DIDN'T even come back to make sure all of their work was satisfactory.
We wrote a letter and left messages to the company owner and talked with and texted the general manager, wanting help and consideration for ALL of the STRESS, PAIN and ECONOMIC setback their WORK ETHICS have negatively Impacted our lives. The project was started in February. It is now the middle of October. There has been NO RESPONSE from Rooter Ranger.
Stay away from this company, if you want to be TREATED FAIRLY, TRUTHFULLY and Not TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

SHAME on this company, it should be a crime to grossly over pad bills.
This company is so over-priced. Huge waste of time. There bids were so over padded and their guys work on commissions for instance they wanted $1,500.00 for a replacement of a shower valve (this was just for the part.) There phone customer care team is great untill they show up.
Single Mother's beware and the elderly.
It should be a crime to grossly over pad bills, taking advantage of the community's trust. Please don't trust this company and mothers pass the information

Their prices are outrageous. But even more outrageous, these people used my debit card information to drain my checking account TWICE for a total of over $7000 without my authorization and without providing an invoice or offering me the choice of a method of payment. Ask yourself: Is this the kind of company you want to do business with?

Our kitchen sink has been slow draining and plugging up for years. Our old plumber had gone out of business and we needed a new company. As we brought up a list of highly rated companies, we noticed that Rooter Ranger clearly stated that most minor situations can cost $47. We took a chance. Thank God we did! We called them nearing 5 PM. Nikko arrived at 7 PM after phoning he'd be here in 30 minutes. He was. Then he took the time to snake the sink not once, not twice, but three times. He said, ""The third time was the charm."" After taking that much time and being so personable, the charge was $47. We were thrilled! Nikko fixed the problem and the company really only charged us what the internet site had stated. We now have our new plumbing company. And when we call again, and we will, we will ask for Nikko. What a great guy Rooter Ranger has employed. George M.
