When our home sewer system began to back up, we called for a technician(Richard G) who was polite, courteous and professional. He explained every step of the way, as all customary attempts to clear the pipes failed. A camera inserted in the system showed fully clogged pipes with tree roots and broken Clay sewer pipes. The only option was to replace the pipes. Long story short, we were explained the ""bursting"" process using flexible pipes. All sewer pipes were replaced with one solid polyethylene pipe, with 25 year transferrable warranty and likely to last another lifetime. All technicians (George, John) and the crew took us from chaos to problem free drainage. Cannot more highly recommend Rooter-Man to all family and friends. Thank you very much...The Carter Family in Santa Clarita

Let me just start by saying this; I have no joy in leaving a bad review so I'll tell you the story and you can judge for yourself.
I was away for NYE and had a house sitter. This person told me there was a backed up toilet and couldn't unclog it and felt we needed assistance. I authorized this and Rooter Man Plumbing came. They scoped the plumbing, blew the clog out and told us that there was a damaged pipe under the garage, that they would need to cut a 3 foot by 3 foot hole in the garage, sleeve the pipe, and re-cement. And all this work would be an additional $5200 tab above what we will pay for the work he just did.
I asked if the plumping was usable for the time being. He said yes, but this needs to be repaired and quickly. I believed him, but at $5200 I needed to shop around. So they charged us $1000 for the scope and the flush-if that sounds high to you, just give me some time.
We came home, and immediately started calling plumbers we've used in the past. They all asked the same question: can we have pics or videos of their original scope? I called rooterman and asked for these files. They did not keep any recorded evidence of this scope and they, as a policy don't. I asked how they will know where to cut the cement and they told me they'd have to rescope-but don't worry-we won't have to pay for the rescope if we agree to use their services at the aforementioned $5200 price tag. I decided that these were sham artists and spoke to various plumbers, all certified, and hired one.
They re scoped the house, from two places vs rooterman's one, flushed both areas, and spent a couple of hours investigating what the issues were. They did find some sediment, a rat, an issue with a flap (all of which they captured in video and on pic for us to keep. They diagnosed the problem, made a fix (they could not find any evidence of pipe damage and showed me the video of the whole line from two different entry points) and left for $400. $400 included the scope, the time and the fix.
I'll give rooterman a little leeway, they came on NYE so I imagine there should be an up charge. But they charged us $1000 for a scope and a cleaning and I believe used scare tactics to pressure us into a $5200 procedure that they showed zero evidence of us needing.
I believe they upscaled us for a holiday, I understand this. But I also think they took advantage of a situation where we, the owners weren't home and the housesitters were panicked-so were we.
I think this is bad policy.
I'm sure they'll offer an explanation as a rebuttal, and I'll be curious to see it. You can make up your own minds. I certainly won't call them again.

Router Man responded quickly to set up a technician and was at my home a little bit more than1 hour from the call. Richard was our tech and did an amazing job, analyzed the problem and begin methodically worked the blockage out. His tenacity and attention was over the top.
Well Done Richard and Well Done e Rooter Man Plumbing, you got my business from now on.
Thank you very much

Had a backed up line the day after thanksgiving and it turned out to be way more of an issue than I would have expected.
I had Harry and Sam K come out as technician and supervisor to get to the bottom of our problem. They were very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and polite. They wanted to make sure that they fixed the true problem with our drain line not just the symptom of the real problem.
They discovered that some prior work done on the house was done, let's say...less than professionally, and they ensured to fix the poor work from the previous owner as well as doing a suburb job on the work to fix our broken line.
All said and done they replaced the entire drain line, retrenched the line to the street so that it flowed properly and would not back up again, as well as doing some structural repair on the house to make everything look great and ensure that the issue would not happen again.
I would definitely recommend either one of these two for anyone looking to get a professional plinking job done the right way.

We had a slab leak in our condo over the weekend, and called Rooter Man Plumbing. Sam K (supervisor) and Mike D (technician) responded immediately and worked continuously until they found the broken pipe. They worked through the weekend to ensure the problem was handled to conclusion. They were very professional, friendly, and did an outstanding job. They were especially careful to keep the work as contained as possible within the condo to keep it as clean from debris and dirt as possible. This was very impressive. They took numerous photos and videos as they worked to keep me and my husband updated on the repairs, and made sure we understood what they found, what they recommended, and to ensure we saw the completed work and that it done to our satisfaction, which it was. They were meticulous. We would recommend this company and these employees.

Called on a Saturday and showed up just a few hours later. Fixed a clogged washer drain with a fair price quoted on the phone. Thanks for the speedy service.

""Albert"" came to our house and, very simply put, left it worse off than when he came. We had a serious clog in our toilet. A HUGE mess and the clog was up to the top of the bowl. I have been working on this clog for a day and a half and used every ""hack"" that I could find. Vinegar and baking soda, super hot water, wire hanger. Nothing worked so we gave in and called this company. The first thing Albert does is FLUSH THE TOILET. I couldn't believe it. Has this guy EVER done a plumbing job? Serious sewage overflows and covers my entire bathroom. He was keenly aware of our dissatisfaction with that move so he said, ""Don't worry, I will bring the machine in to wet-vac all this up."" He brought the machine in and vacuumed up just a little bit of the sewage and was ready to leave us with the rest of the mess that HE made! When my wife complained about that, he gave her mega-attitude and left us with the mess and, I kid you not, left a piece of a turd right ON our toilet seat (I wish I had thought to take a picture of it). I guess that was his business card he left to remind us exactly what his company is full of. I would leave zero stars if I could!!!

The technician, Albert, came out and decided to flush a clogged toilet, the water with feces then started to overflow. He then frantically gave me paperwork to sign in his computer pad. He said he was going to vacuum the mess that was made. He unclogged the toilet but still left a significant amount of water on my bathroom floor. When I asked about it as I was paying, I got attitude from him like it was a chore but he made the mess

Be careful they'll rip you off! Will never use this company! Had them come out because we had some bad smells coming from the sink in the bathroom. Turned out we did not have a correct p-trap installed. They quoted $1400 to replace a p-trap which is an entry level plumbing job that shouldn't take more than an hour. Called another local plumbing company, they came out 2 days later and completed the work in 30 min and cost me $150 for the callout fee.
I can't believe they tried to rip me off thinking I was in a bind to get it fixed asap! Will never call them again.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and very little time to get it fixed. Rooter Man Los Angeles was prompt and efficient in getting to the problem and fixing it. Sam was thorough in his explanation and respected my wishes and concerns. And Harry N. did an excellent job to actually get the work done in a timely fashion. They kept me informed on what they were doing and when they would be arriving. Excellent customer service.
