Stay away from this business for your plumbing needs. The staff at this Rooter Hero are scam artists who kept trying to charge us cause us more and more expenses in the thousands of dollars for repairs that were not necessary. We called them for a simple kitchen sink drain clog, a $69 charge. They did it and then they told me that, instead, the problem was where our plumbing connected to the street, a charge of an additional $4,000 to fix, which we paid thinking we had no other option. After they completed that work, they said that the blockage was at the sewer pipe in the street, for an addition $11,000 charge, which we did not pay or authorize. Instead, we called our local plumber in Sierra Madre, Gem Plumbing, who came within a few hours, ran a camera down, and confirmed that the pipe did not need to be replaced and used a snake to remove the root, for a minimal charge. I will never use again and do not recommend Rooter Hero.

Raymundo the pluming technician came to my place of employment to fix our over flowed toilet. He bought this big snake and had our toilets running in no time! I recently had Ray and Wes out from Rooter Hero to fix a clogged drain. These guys were as professional as can be. They fixed my problem in about 5 minutes after giving me my options on how best to proceed. They came in looking very clean, they wore booties on their feet to help keep our floors clean, and they cleaned up the mess when they were done. I have used Rooter Hero in the past and was very satisfied at that time as well. I have no reason to call anyone else. Very satisfied with the professional and friendly service. Ray and Wes are the best!

Had a stopped up sewer pipe in an apartment in Upland, CA. They took off a toilet in the apartment and snaked the drain. About 50 feet out they stopped and said the rooter was blocked by a large root and couldn't continue. Then he went in with a camera. Said it would cost about $2,000 to dig down to the pipe and replace the portion clogged by the root. We decided to pay them the $150 for work done so far and get a second opinion. Another rooter we had used before came and cleared the blockage in about 10 minutes! We explained what happened before and he said that this is a common practice to milk the client for more money. He charged $100! The next day the apartment tenant called and said the toilet that Rooter Hero had removed was leaking. We called Rooter Hero back and the technician told us that that's not what he does and if we want the toilet back on correctly we would have to call the company again. . .it would be about $60 more. This to correct a problem THEY CAUSED!
We have maintained these apartments for over 30 years and this is the ABSOLUTE WORST rooter service we have ever had!

My toddler flushed a diaper down the toilet which them backed up the only toilet downstairs. Called this place since they work on Saturdays. Jovanny was our technician. He was right on time and was quick. He told me the options we can do and started out with a snake first (cheaper option). Thankfully it worked and clog was cleared.
Will definitely keep their number around for future plumbing problems.

Rooter Hero was outstanding!
We were in a panic with a terrible plumbing clog on the eve of my dad's ""Celebration of Life"" Service. We called Rooter Hero at 10:30 PM, and Cameron came with his team at 10:45 PM. They were wonderful and worked late into the night under the house to solve the problem. Thank you Rooter Hero for your excellent and prompt work. You get all A+++++'s.

They came and were going to charge us 2 thousand for a broken pipe, we called someone else to double check. Our pipe wasn't broken, there was just hair clogged, got charged $100. They only want your money.

Our waste line had backed up in our 1923 Craftsman Cottage on the Saturday Afternoon before Easter. The line is the original 2' clay section pipe that we have rooted once a year in Spring and was due for it's yearly clean out. Being a holiday weekend we decided to use Rooter Hero who was running a $79.00 cabling special.

The technician arrived and began to cable the drain. I noticed the blade he was using was very small and he was having trouble. He told me he was unable to clear the stoppage and recommended that we Hydro-Jet the line for $1300.00 for the single line or $3200.00 for the entire house, which would include a free video inspection. I related that that I work in the construction industry and would want to check with one of our contractors. He called his supervisor who told him that we qualify for a ""professional rate"" of $495.00 for the line, which made me extremely wary, and I declined.

He attempted again to clear the line again, but couldn't and removed the cable only to find the blade was missing. He told us that it must have broken off in the line, for us to limit our waste water use and his supervisor would call us that following Monday to discuss our options. We never heard from them.

On Monday I got our regular plumbing contractor to come out and they successfully rooted the line (using a much larger blade) in under 15 minutes. They also performed a video inspection to ensure Rooter Hero didn't damage the line and everything looked fine. They also found the ""broken"" blade which appeared to have come off because it was not tightened correctly to the cable. They charged us $150.00 for the call.

A word of warning: Rooter Hero does not use hard copy for it's estimates or work orders, but an iPad for all of their paperwork and emails you the documents. I was unaware that the single document screen I signed contained several additional pages that pertained to warranty and limitations.
