I had a water heater leaked on a Sunday evening. I called Rooter Hero Plumbing of San Diego was very responsive. Gil the plumber technician was sent to follow-up was very courteous, informative and professional, in less than 1 hour he arrived in our home address. The issue was addressed immediately and appropriately. He provided thorough assessment and explanation.

I also inquired with the pressure regulators and he gave his assessment and recommendations. He was very attentive to even provide the email via quote and was not pushy on getting it done.

The following day I called the company decided to do the pressure regulators. Gil was on time, courtesy calls was given for his ETA which I highly appreciate and he finished the pressure regulators without any issues.

He remained very professional and excellent customer service.

If you have any plumbing issues and water leaks this is the company you need to call for.

I was not able to have them fix my water heater due to my insurance has their assigned contractors but otherwise I very satisfied with their services.

FYI this company is open 24/7 which is a life saver.

My 2 toilets started leaking at 11PM & couldn't be used. The next morning I called a # of plumbers & Rooter Hero was the only one who could come ASAP. Dennis & Albert (his apprentice) arrived on time. They gave me a quote & I accepted it. As they began work, they found out that less work was required & gave me a new (lower) quote. They were friendly & highly professional. I am very pleased with their service. They are much better than any of the Big 3 plumbers in San Diego. I highly recommend them.

From beginning to end, Rooter Hero lived up to their name. A sequence of events that began Saturday night and continued through Thursday before everything was set really posed some challenges for this family of five. Rooter Hero responded right away and stuck with it to the end. Henry ""Service Manager"" Castorena (Obi Wan Kenobi) led with his wisdom and instincts from 30+ years of experience; Victor (Luke Skywalker) quietly and patiently applied his surgeon-like care; Dennis (Han Solo) provided the smarts, the wit, and the determination to get things done. Individually, they each brought their own unique talents, knowledge, and instincts at just the moments they were needed; collectively, they brought the force. They provided suggestions, but were not afraid to pivot mid-stream saving us money by shifting to the more likely next step rather than just doing the expensive but now unnecessary thing we had previously agreed to do. They easily could have just taken my money by doing unnecessary things, but they didn't. They demonstrated integrity, honesty, and commitment to a job well done, and restored freedom to the galaxy (the sink). Thank you!

There are times when plumbing needs are top of the priority list. I chose Rooter Hero Plumbing firstly due to their amazing customer service. I was attended to quickly, response time in scheduling was fast, and my needs were heard with a friendliness and kindness rarely seen in businesses in this day and age. My Tech was Erick Hazelquist, and the personalized service I received was exceptional. My problem was fixed in a few minutes, and there was plenty of friendly banter, before-during-and after. It was a simple fix, but the kindness and courtesy shown me and the job, A+++++..... Tell your friends, this is the one to keep on your phone. I will be referring Rooter Hero Plumbing to friends and family. I won't worry the next time we need a plumber.

I highly recommend Max and Rooter Hero! They sent Max out to estimate my dishwasher and water filter installation the same day on a Saturday afternoon. He was very friendly, and he gave a fair price compared to other offers. Max surprisingly was ready to work on Sunday, and he stayed at my house until 9pm on Sunday evening to make sure everything was working properly. He really did a great job and was dedicated to his work.

Unacceptable service! Day 1 of leak they didn't have a long or string enough snake, from what they said.... That night the house flooded and now I need new floors. Day 2 they said a tech would be out to hydro blast the pipe and insert a camera. They came with no camera, cleared the pipe from what they thought, over charged me and left. Day 3 camera guy was supposed to show up, no show. Day 4 camera guy supposed to show up, no show. Wife took a bath and house flooded again. Call them 2 times and talk to someone, they state that I would be 15-20 min. I'm on my 3rd call to them because I haven't had anyone call me back. This is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a company. On hold the message states that they want to make every opportunity to go above and beyond customer's expectations... that's a lie. I hope they can make it right but I have no faith in RooterHero.
Update: it's night of Day 4. Nobody is coming. Scheduled for tomorrow morning. We'll see how long they take. Update: Checked the BBB website. Has a D rating and 1.3/5 stars. Makes sense.

I recently called Rooter Hero and had Gil come out to Chula Vista and help me with a serious plumbing problem. This was after trying to do it myself with no success. Gil went right to work and didn't stop until it was solved. He was prepared, professional and efficient. Gil got me out of a huge jam and I'm a happy customer of Rooter Hero because of Gil.

We had a blocked line under our bathroom.
I removed the toilet to make it easier for the tech Erick Hazelquist to snake the line.
After about 40 min, he stated that he was done and I was good to go.

To our surprise, we found that is was not cleared at all and we had a clean ip on our hands.

We called them back and was rescheduled for the next day between 1-3pm.
Unfortunately, they didn't show and we had to call them back.

The representative stated that their techs were on other jobs and I would have to wait for someone to call us back, If they could come out.

At that point, feeling that we were miss lead and cheated, we requested a full refund -minus the tip for services NOT rendered.

This was our first experience with this company.
