So - the estimate I got from Rooter Hero for repairing a pea trap - $2800. Another reputable plumber just left - $350 out the door. This place is a complete rip off. I recommend you run the other way. :( PS Check the company under the Better Business Bureau - multiple complaints, citations and pending legal disputes.

Really good service at a reasonable price.

Our kitchen drain line slowed down on a Sunday. We had a card from Rooter Hero offering one line cleared for $77. We called Rooter Hero mid-morning on Monday knowing that getting someone out would be difficult. The dispatcher kept me informed and about 2:00 said a technician would be out within 30 minutes. Twenty minutes later Josue arrived and apologized for ""being late"".

Josue asked many good questions about our house and the history of the drain pipes. He unloaded the heavy duty snake to go after the long and plug-prone 2"" line. He located the problem about 30 feet down the pipe and was able to clear the blockage.

Good service and the technician was a very pleasant fellow. I will use them again

Once again, the team at Rooter Hero has gone above and beyond helping with an emergency. I had a toilet overflow and their team came out to support this emergency on a weekend and promptly began servicing the issue. As it turns out, it was a much bigger issue than anticipated and they provided great advisory services. They helped avoid additional damage to my home and helped advise on the treatment of the contaminated areas. Unfortunately, my HOA was problematic and I was able to work with Mo and the back office team to get all the information consolidated into a report to provide to my HOA and insurance group. The team was very professional and prompt. Hopefully I don't have any further emergencies but if I do, they'll be the first ones I call.

We had the pleasure of working with Andreas and Luke when our bathroom began overflowing with water from under the toilet. They were able to quickly come fix the problem and worked to identify what we discovered to be roots in our old cast iron plumbing.

Andreas was extremely personable and the reason we decided to go ahead and continue working with Rooter Hero instead of other options. When we discovered the degree of the issue we decided to have the whole house redone at once they were able to give us a fair price which included repairing the concrete and finishing up with the flooring. Luke did an amazing job and even paid special attention that the grout was the perfect color.

Had to replace my 90-year old cast iron sewer in my crawl space. They bid the job and got into a few unforeseen challenges that cost them more time and effort, but they never asked for a change order from me. They never complained.

Foreman Omar Navarrete was pleasant and responsive to my text messages, worked Saturdays and Sundays, and wasn't satisfied till the job was done right.

We had to do a cash-out refi on our home to get the funds to pay them. They also offered alternate financing. The patience and flexibility of Monica Gray in the office was very much appreciated.

This is a mixed review.
6 months ago we had a major sewer backup and after talking to a number of companies, contracted with Rooter Hero for major sewer work. At the time we were very satisfied, especially with the people who worked directly with us, Ben Hanen the supervisor, and Mike Sleeper, the technician.
Yesterday we had another sewer back-up in our basement shower. Around 8:15 I called the general number and was told by the person who answered that our call would be handled quickly, we'd be the next service call and that someone would call his within an hour or so to tell when they would be there. After 2 hours I called again not having received a call. I was put on hold & then told there had been an error and we would not be seen until late afternoon. I told her that wasn't acceptable and asked to speak to the supervisor. I believe his name was Dave. Dave agreed with me and told me he would call the local office and have someone call me back immediately. An hour later I called again. Dave was not in the office. The young man with whom I spoke assured me that they had called the local office but had not heard back from them. He said he'd call me back right away after he found out what was happening. Again, he didn't call. By this time we'd waited about 4 hours and still couldn't use bathrooms, water, etc. in the house. And no one from Rooter Hero had called us to let us know what was going on.

Fortunately I had Ben Hanen's card so called him. He looked into the situation and said a mistake had been made when I first called and instead of showing that I needed immediate help it was posted as needing service between 8 PM and 10PM. Ben called Mike, the technician, and within an hour Mike was at our home, cleaning out the backup.
Mike and Ben continue to show amazing customer service. They deserve an A+ rating. The saga isn't over, they are coming back tomorrow to see what caused the backup.

The same cannot be said for the call center. If they were the only people I dealt with within the company, this would be a 0 star rating. I will never call that number again. However, since Ben and Mike really performed above expectations, I'd call he company again, but not the general phone number. So, yes, I'm a fan, but wary of the organizational process.

I recently had Rooter Hero perform an extensive plumbing job at my house which involved digging trenches, laying copper pipe, and pouring concrete. I was nervous about agreeing to such a large job, but Mike and Randy put my mind at ease. Throughout the process, I was very impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Mike Sleeper. He was able to work around my personal schedule and made sure we had water running in the house as much as possible. He was also very tidy with all work that he completed, which I really appreciate. Chad did a great job laying the concrete! All in all, I would highly recommend Rooter Hero for your complicated plumbing needs. Thanks RH and Mike for such a great job!!
