I had a pipe burst underneath my home and contacted Rooter Guard to come out on a Thursday and advise on the situation. Ernie E showed up and climbed under my home, analyzed the problem and working with his manager quickly provided a quotation. I contacted 2 other plumbing companies who also quoted the job but neither company could complete the job until the next week. While Rooter Guard was not the least expensive quotation, Ernie E was knowledgeable, professional, and understood the urgency to repair the problem. Ernie and Tony arrived on-time Friday to begin work and returned on Saturday to complete the job.
They also found a couple of other areas which were destined to become a burst pipe and repaired those at a discounted price.
I would highly recommend Rooter Guard along with Ernie E and Tony. They will be my future plumbing company.

Called for a simple washer drain snake for $59, tech told be the drain line needed to be pulled out of the wall and ground because it was collapsed. Quoted at nearly $6000. I refused and had a different company come, just had a few roots blocking it.

Being a first time home buyer, you don't realize there is so much that can take place that is out of ur control. My family and I moved into our home and 2 days after tying to do laundry with brand new machines and a reconstructed home, my washing machine overflowed. I contacted rooter guard Johnny came out. He tried to snake the line and got some substance to come out of the drain but noticed the snake wasn't going through it. He then changed the blade , once again it wasn't breaking the clogged line. Jonny inserted a camera and saw that the line had a large back up and recommended a descale. He contacted mike from their office, and scheduled the descale for the next day. Once the descale was done they took out about 4 ft of blockage. Thank you so much Jonny and Mike. Trying to complete a reconstruction during COVID has been one of the most stressful things I've had to go through. Finally being able to move in, our family wasn't expecting to have other issues. With 3 little kids in our home , laundry is a huge necessity. If it wasn't for Johnny and Mike I would still be struggling to figure out how I was going to complete my laundry. Highly recommend this team, they go above and beyond for their customers, very professional and take pride in their work.

They did a job on an apartment complex I live in. They have an absolute lack of communication. They didn't inform the tenants when the water was turned off. They blamed the water not being turned on on the city, however city water person said they are available 24 hours a day to come out. They were not onsite and the water was on so I ran the washer. When they returned they unplugged the washer mid cycle instead of talking to me. Do not recommend.

Hot water heater broke and my plumber Ernie came about an hour after I called. He was professional, kind, and quick. He did a great job and was done in only a few hours. Very easy to work with and did an excellent job

We have had issues with our main sewer line and it finally blocked up and needed replacing/repairing. Rooter Guard came out quickly on a Sunday, got us back functioning and then started the work the same day. The process was easy, they explained and showed everything that was needed. Vic H., who did the work, was great. He was very polite, respectful and helpful in the stressful situation, and explained everything we asked about throughout the process. Harry also came by multiple times to help assess and inform. Will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs.

On Saturday, our toilet started gurgling. Something out of a horror film. We flushed it, and the water rose up to just under the rim. My husband used his plunger prowess, and the water ebbed. My son went into the garage and the toilet in there had flooded. Ok. We called our regular plumber. The sewer line needs to be snaked again, but he doesn't have the machine anymore. He recommends his plumber friend. He's not available until Monday. I called a number randomly of a local plumber and luckily got Rooter Guard. They responded instantly. Johnny tried with All. His.Might. to snake the cleanout. He then called Henry to come with the camera. Tree roots like crazy. It was nearly dark, and Johnny started to dig where the impasse started. The next day, Sunday, Greg showed up with Juan, and they continued Johnny's work. Henry came with the camera again. The tree roots were still an issue. They had to dig another hole closer to the street. They replaced the clay pipe that was original to the property. The whole time, everyone kept expressing how sorry they were that it was a job of this magnitude, but it seems like this is common in Santa Monica and the Palisades. In fact, my neighbors told me we are among the last on the block to have this done. The next day they inserted a fiberglass sleeve into the remaining clay pipe portion at the easement. They were very upfront about the price. It's comparable to other vendors. They charged x amount per linear foot. By Tuesday, the job was done. The job site was immaculate. They hand-filled the holes, installed 2 new clean outs, and covered the compacted dirt with quick drying cement.

They were the most pleasant, polite, hardworking group of people.

We have all been through some challenging times. These last few years have been tough for so many people. Sometimes we lose a little faith In humanity. Today my faith was restored in the good and kindness that still thrives among us.

OSCAR and the gentleman from Rooter Guard were not only excellent, timely, knowledgeable, honest, and experts....the are KIND and supportive. Feels strange to say that about this type of service I suppose, but as the main drain in the front of our house was threatening to destroy the next few days perhaps more... with disgusting sewage and waste from aging pipes coming through to our bathrooms and busting through the concrete, his kindness was so comforting and I knew he was here to help my family.

Oscar was there immediately. Even before I could call back to complain how bad everything was.

He was so helpful, respectful, and thoughtful.

I am a single mom who runs my own business from home. By 5 PM I'm frazzled and can't remember whether I've called the kid or the dog to come to dinner. Somehow, Oscar could sense that. He was so reassuring and comforting that I knew I was in the right hands.

While I was busy multitasking ...feeling sorry for myself, taking client calls and ordering dinner, Oscar got straight to work and talked me through each step of the process. He was fair, and treated me with respect. Oscar is a straight shooter and is wonderfully wise and experienced. He did everything he could to make sure that our home would be a safe place to be while we work together on a challenge that is bigger than we expected.

But you know what? I'm ok with the process, he didn't charge me, would not accept a tip, but he did appreciate my soul felt gratitude.

There is a reason these guys have one of the best ratings in the business. They have earned it and it is truly their passion to help others.

The good and bad news is, I'll see Oscar a few more times. The bad news is because it's working on some tough things but the good news is I know my family is in the best hands ever. As a family owned business, they extend the same family feeling, loyalty, and work ethic to their customer as well. I would never choose anyone else!

Do yourself a favor, and give them a ring. You won't be sorry, you won't be overcharged, and you won't be left alone without answers.

To you Oscar, THANK YOU! You definitely made sunshine for us on a cloudy day. I will never forget how you treated me with dignity, even though I was a complete disaster and you took every extra step you could to help us, and I am grateful for you and this family business.
