I called at 7:30 am to engage services. They told me someone would come between 1 and 4. At 12:38 I received a voice mail saying that the tech who was supposed to come to me was stuck at an all day job. I understand that things happen, but they should have either found ANOTHER tech to do the job later that day OR not accepted the job OR told me earlier in the morning that they would not be coming. I was unable to use plumbing from the night before and was in a TERRIBLE position. This wasn't just ""my sink is draining slow"" or ""I can't use my washing machine."" This was a DIRE situation. VERY unprofessional...I was so disappointed. They have so many great reviews so I am sure that they are quite good at what they do. But if I were you, I would have a backup ready in case they are not able to follow through.

Don't bother looking for another plumber. These are the best. Responsive, honest, timely, professional. Hard to find a company like this. Highly recommended!

Work performed - Hydro-jetting the lines, relining the main sewer line, and installing a ""Top Hat"" liner at the connection to the city sewer. All in all Rooter Alert did a good job and performed the service that was quoted. They made a point to save one of my plants that needed to be dug up to get to the sewer line. My only complaint was that since the job was completed over several days that they could have communicated their overall project timing & schedule a bit better.

I am absolutely Happy with the outstanding service Rooter Alert Provided for me. I purchased my home 3 years ago and since the day of my purchase I have had issues with the draining system. I have had another plumbing company tell me that I have a broken section of sewer line. I continued to maintain it by having it cleared every 3 months. I finally had enough and sought for a 2nd opinion. I chose Rooter Alert to come out because of all the great reviews I saw of them through different websites and also offers coupons.... wow I must say. They came out and jetted my main line and ran a camera. They showed me with a camera the issues that I had which was build up. They used the hydro jet and removed the build up. After the service they ran the camera again and low and behold there was no break in the line or cracks. Rooter Alert is my hero. And my go to plumber from here on out. Danny the rep that answered my call was the nicest and most informative person, I was freaking out at the time (for good reason i had sewage coming out of my shower) and he calmed me down and kept open communication letting me know the tech was in route. He got a tech out that same day and the rest is history. This company has the consumers best interest in mind and you can see it when the guys come out. No pressure tactics just a plain and simple cost effective solution. Rooter Alert deserves a place in my speed dial. You are my hero!

Your guys were great! Did a great job descaling the cast iron sewer line in our church basement! Saved us from having to dig up and replace the sewer line.
I highly recommend Rooter Alert!!

these dudes cleaned my pipes.

and by cleaned my pipes, i mean cleaned my pipes.

we are a hillside property and have a drain that every two years or so slows down. we have had it blasted many times, over many years as it leads to the main sewer line. what i have heard from all the neighbors, is that they have similar problems and that all their plumbing people have indicated that root clearing is a maintenance issue you actually need to address every year or two. afterall-- roots grow back! (but i know there is some new ""liner"" you can inject in the pipes, to re-line the pipes and seal cracks / root passages).

anyway i got a deal on angie's list from rooter alert for hydro jetting to remove clogs and roots. it was $211. prior to that, i had a quote of literally $1,250 from another plumber i had used -- and trusted. and i still do trust that other plumber BUT... i was having heart palpitations at the thought of spending $1,250 to hydro jet. i know one neighbor had paid $500 with his plumber plumber for jetting, another paid $1,750 with a different plumber. these quotes including my initial $1,250 quote from a third plumber were just so wildly all over the place i decided i had to do more a little more research and digging.

so- that's how i found this deal. rooter alert had quite quite good reviews and so i gave them a try. they had to come out 2x because the first time, the equipment was too big of the pipe we were clearing. they btw have a big rigged out truck that has all the equipment and it is serious stuff! not like a little roto rooter man coming with a snake.

anyway the second time they came with a crew and some smaller equipment. they had scopes, you could see as they stuck it on down the line all the roots and junk in there. and then they bored and bored and bored away at it. they did pull out a few handfuls of gobs of roots. certainly enough of a tangle that they would impede water and whatever else is going down the line.

this was about 6 weeks ago and so far, the line has been FINE! i do believe in a year or two i'll have to get the line cleared again as roots return, but i thought they crews they sent were nice, professional, and serious about getting in and out.

so far, so good... and would definitely recommend.

I bought their offer through Angie's List. Rooter Alert failed to show up twice. The first time, they called me at the original appointment time saying the technician was sick. I understood and give them a second chance by rescheduling.

The second time, they called me after being 1.5 hour late that they needed to cancel the second appointment. The next available appointment was not until a week after. I took two half-days off sitting at home expecting Rooter Alert to show up.

They promised that their manager Gary would give me a call back the next day which I never received a call. Terrible contractor. Do not bother!

could not provide service today for emergency plumbing problem. I even bought the coupon they say is worth 80.00 and you pay 8.00 ... So that was a waste, and i read other reviews that said they would not hire these people AGAIN.

So I had these guys come out while I was in Escrow to stick a camera down my sewer line and check my water heater. I was told the water heater needed to be replaced (not surprising, it was in rough shape) and a wye fitting and 3 feet of pipe in my sewer line needed to trenched out and be replaced. I received a quote for this and after closing escrow decided to give them my business, big mistake.

We scheduled a Tuesday for this to be taken care of. At the time the AC was broken and I still lived 30 minutes away. I showed up at 8am as planned, sat in 100 degree heat and after a couple hours decided to call them. Got some excuse about having trouble with the permit because the city required the owner to pull it, they would have to reschedule. So why was I not notified of this? No call, no email.

We reschedule for Monday, 2 weeks later as I was getting the house tented the week prior.

Monday morning comes along and I get a call at 7:30am from the owner saying they can't show up, some guy broke his foot...Ok, sh!t happens, lets reschedule for Wednesday.

Tuesday morning, city inspector shows up, ""umm sorry they didn't show yesterday and obviously didn't contact you"". I notified him they are coming Wednesday.

Later that evening, call from operations manager, saying they can't come Wednesday, too many guys on vacation etc etc. At this point I had been living in the house for 5 days, with no water heater (gas company red tagged it). He said he had to reschedule for Friday but would try to get a guy out for the water heater on Thursday, saying he would call me back to let me know or not. ""ok thanks"". He never called back, starting to see a trend here.

Thursday morning, plumbers show up! I was not expecting them as I never received a confirmation call. Lucky for them I work from home that day. Water heater installed, they finish and leave trash saying they will be back tomorrow to trench the front and get rid of the trash.

Friday, no show. No call, no warning. At this point my patience is shot. I call them and am told that they scheduled me for Monday. Who was going to tell me this? At this point we are almost 3 weeks past the original service date. I decide to cancel the trenching, I'm a patient person but this is too much. I never have written a review on yelp but these guys deserve my first one.

TLDR. Got canceled on or no showed 4 times. If you value your time do not use these guys!

I do not recommend their device , I had two times appointment and they cancel on me , two days was waste because they do not care about people time . I talk to manger he said he is going to call .
