Roman was great! Got to my office and fixed the clogged sink in no time. Prompt and professional. Reasonable rates. Plus he is very pleasant and friendly, we had a funny conversation about Sebastopol's oddly named high school. Lol!

Peter came by the next morning after we called 4pm previous day with a probable faulty thermocouple issue on our water heater. A very pleasant guy who was quick to assess and get going on a fix. He was respectful of our home, wearing shoe covers on our boots. Just over an hour later we have hot water. I appreciated them rolling the diagnostic fee (95 per half hour or 170 per hour) into the overall final cost ($275). I would have thought cost was high, but having consulted many other companies, it was acually a bit better than the going rate in Sonoma County. It helped that our Rheem water heater was under warranty and I got the pilot assembly part at no cost in advance from manufacturer.

Years ago this fix could have been done by the average person, but it seems the manufacturers of modern water heaters have made it difficult to do anything but hire someone. And 5 stars to these guys and to Peter for doing a good job. I'm hoping it lasts for a while now!

Roman came over for a bid on a a kitchen sink/faucet installation. He was very personable, friendly and professional. He did a thorough inspection of our old sink.

When William from Roman's Plumbing realized that the plumbing work we needed was out of our reach financially, he called his office and worked out a ""Thanksgiving Special"" just for us - they gave us a new toilet for free, and charged us a fraction of what the work would normally have cost. Roman's has done work for us in the past, and the result is always of the highest quality. William is friendly, fast, and efficient - and incredibly thoughtful. I am indeed thankful for considerate people like William, and for companies like Roman's Plumbing that care more about their customers and their community than profits.

Looks like I'm joining the club rating Roman's Plumbing at 5 stars. There is not a single criticism or suggestion I can offer; Roman's deserves all the 5-star ratings as every member of their staff is professional, efficient, courteous, competent, and expedient. They are fair-priced; my technician (Marcel) treated my home like it was his own and the job was completed correctly the first time. I could go on and on, but you get the point! Roman's is for certain our exclusive plumbing service.

April, 2018:

It's always nice to get the chance to verify your initial impression of a company, and Roman's Plumbing, not surprisingly, validated my initial impression in stellar fashion! Our initial call to Roman's in 2015 surrounded an overflowing kitchen sink, caused by a clog in the kitchen waste pipe, which prevented upstairs shower water not to exit as designed, and instead to flow and overwhelm the kitchen sink. Marcel had instructed me how to alleviate the buildup in the kitchen pipes if this happened again, and thankfully I had that knowledge when the kitchen sink again exhibited an epic clog the past April. One call to Roman's had us on the calendar 4 days later, but that was not really an inconvenience because of the information I had from Marcel from the last time. Thinking the clog was related, Roman's investigated without charge and quickly discovered broken suspension straps for the kitchen waste line, causing it to sag and build up. I had to leave the premises during the job, but the Roman's team generated an estimated cost, and I left a check; the job amount exceeded the check amount, so Roman's called back for a follow-up payment; no biggie. The house looked perfect when I returned and the plumbing operates flawlessly, as expected. The team left me pics of the before and after work, and the whole process was painless, timely, and efficient. I would just be repeating myself if I said ""5 stars"" again, so let's go with 6! There's nobody else to call!

If you don't have a plumber in the family, call Roman's. Had some plumbing problems associated with a house we bought. Jason did a thorough evaluation and clearly laid out the problem and the options to solve it. He and Peter were able to perform the repair in the afternoon. As an abundance of caution, they filled the tub with water and discovered a small hole in the tub that leaked into the crawl space. With a couple of little kids who take baths daily, we would have had a lake under the house had they not identified the problem. Professional, personable and thorough. Great guys; that kind of culture, stressing service, honesty and integrity starts at the top. Great people!

I just had my shower tub leak fixed by William. He showed up right on time, and was not only thorough, but very polite and congenial as well. I am a question person, and he answered everything I needed to know.
As others have said on Yelp, I am also not surprised they are rated as high as they are. Monica is also one of the nicest people I've ever spoken with on the phone, and that goes a long way in my book. Thank you, Roman's Plumbing. It will make it hard when I end up leaving the area eventually!

There is a reason Roman's Plumbing is rated #1 in Sonoma County. We have used Roman's three times for some pretty intractable problems. No matter how busy he is, he makes time to come right over. It seems that Roman is the person who diagnoses the problem and then one of his team follows up unless the problem seems particularly difficult. Roman made good recommendations when we had to purchase a toilet for a narrow space and he stuck with us when we had a broken sink faucet that is now no longer available and we needed to match other hardware in the bathroom. He went above and beyond making calls and searching supply businesses we would not have known about to help us get what we needed.Also, the woman who answers the phone is an office goddess for good communication: so rare! We give Roman's Plumbing an enthusiastic thumbs up and recommend him highly!

I've used Roman's a few times in the past when I had sewer problems at my rental and always was impressed! This past week there was a blockage in sewer line so I called them to see if they had a tec to come take a look short notice. While they could not squeeze me due to short notice and almost after hours. the office woman or should I call her ""super woman"" Eleni stayed late to make phone calls on my behalf to get someone there to fix problem, which they did. Romans goes above and beyond to accommodate there past customers. Great customer service! Thank you for all your help.

Once again plumbing backed up and called on short notice. Romans staff jumped through hoops to get me a tech which turned out not to be needed because I got problem fixed. The staff was so happy I got problem fixed for my tenants even thought the were not the ones to unclog line. Fast forward to 8/29/18 i received a card from them. You just don't get this kind of service anywhere. As always highly recommended. Thank you guys again
