Roman's Plumbing is A+ from scheduling to the completion of the job. Roman came out and performed a quick diagnostic after hearing about our concerns of a water leak in our bathroom. He expertly fixed the issue and also provided a referral (on request) for the final drywall repair. Scheduler on the phone was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and really listened to my description of our problems. These guys are too notch pros all around. I would definitely recommend Roman's Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing work in the greater Marin area.

Monica ( who helped me every step of the way ) was amazing. She walked me through the process and recommended Leak Detection Pro's out of Petaluma to find the problem. She set up a 1-800 dig ticket as well. After the pros came out we realized it was an easy fix so we did it ourselves but I can't express the level of service she gave me and if money weren't an issue I would have had them out in a minute to fix the leak! Hope I don't need their service but if we ever need a plumber they are the one for me!

I can see why the Yelp reviews are so good. Roman's Plumbing was professional, courteous, and did a wonderful job. They came out to the house quickly, were able to diagnose and deal with a serious problem, pull permits and got the job done within a matter of a couple days. They really went way above and beyond what I normally would have expected.

Their service was impeccably professional. I would hire them again in a second.

I haven't written a review on Yelp in a very long time, in part because I have come to doubt the quality of reviews on Yelp.

But, today I have to call out the excellent customer service we received from Roman's Plumbing, who I called because of their high Diamond Certification rating.

Our problem: upstairs bathroom leaking through the downstairs kitchen ceiling. Yuk.
Jason worked with thorough focus to diagnose two issues that were causing the problem. Faulty bathtub drain pipe and worn out tile grout.

Replacing the drain pipe required two plumbers, but, because my husband and I work during the week, Jason rearranged his schedule so he could return later in the afternoon with another plumber to replace the drain pipe. This was simply to save us from taking another day off work. Since he gave us the time, we decided to have more non-emergency work done. It was worth it to us to have a number of things completed at once as time is very valuable to us which Jason surmised without our pressing the issue. Jason also gave us a referrals for the tile work and drywall we need to have done as a result of the leak.

Jason and his apprentice Jay were extremely respectful of our home and cleaned up afterwards. They were both also very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Maybe the parts were a bit pricey, but it was well worth it for the knowledge, professionalism and amazing customer service. I will call them for all our plumbing needs going forward.

I echo all the positive comments about this company. Peter, the tech, was very professional and found a solution to my sewer issue that saved me thousands versus what another less honest organization was telling me. The communication and the office staff is nothing short of a ""rare jewel"" in terms of responsiveness and professionalism. I will call Roman's from now on.

Called up Roman's plumbing based off of Yelp reviews. Had a great experience. From the start had great and professional service from the receptionist to the service guy, Jason.
Jason was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely call Roman's for any of my future plumbing needs!

What can I say about these people? The plumbers --Roman is the one I got--and another guy whose name I can't recall, were polite and friendly and upfront and honest about the bottom line, my cost!So here's the deal--the office is efficient. The plumbers are honest and technically sound. They came into our house and dealt w every issue we had (there were a few!) And--Roman's is family owned and managed. I love this company! It was money well spent, they'll always be our plumbers.

Roman was great! Got to my office and fixed the clogged sink in no time. Prompt and professional. Reasonable rates. Plus he is very pleasant and friendly, we had a funny conversation about Sebastopol's oddly named high school. Lol!

Peter came by the next morning after we called 4pm previous day with a probable faulty thermocouple issue on our water heater. A very pleasant guy who was quick to assess and get going on a fix. He was respectful of our home, wearing shoe covers on our boots. Just over an hour later we have hot water. I appreciated them rolling the diagnostic fee (95 per half hour or 170 per hour) into the overall final cost ($275). I would have thought cost was high, but having consulted many other companies, it was acually a bit better than the going rate in Sonoma County. It helped that our Rheem water heater was under warranty and I got the pilot assembly part at no cost in advance from manufacturer.

Years ago this fix could have been done by the average person, but it seems the manufacturers of modern water heaters have made it difficult to do anything but hire someone. And 5 stars to these guys and to Peter for doing a good job. I'm hoping it lasts for a while now!
