Roman and his staff are great! I had a new heater installed under the house and I was told I had a leak and IF I wanted they would forward the information to their plumbing service. Oh I was so grateful that I was told about the leak. A plumber came out and said I had very old pipes that should be replaced. He wrote up 3 bids from $5,000 to $20,000. I was in shock.

The next day I started looking in Yelp and found Roman's Plumbing. The office was so kind and apologetic that someone couldn't come right away. I wanted to wait for Roman because his reviews were so good. A few days later Roman showed up with an assistant. Roman went under the house and the assistant came in and turned on the water one by one, no one had done that before.

When Roman returned from under the house he said he couldn't find any leak, no problems. He wanted to know how long I had been having back up problems. I said I wasn't having problems but I was told about a pipe lying in the dirt leaking, and this was just the beginning of a big problem.

He charged me for his time and time and took a minute to look at my garbage disposal that had been giving me problems. All okay

How great is Roman? What an honest guy. I appreciate him very much and would call him in a minute if/when I ever have a plumbing problem.

Handling business over the phone was nice and easy! They were very kind and answered any questions I had about plumbing or what might have to be done to possibly fix a leak. My scheduled appointment was fast and easy. A leaking faucet and handle required a replacement cartridge and turning off the water for the whole building and only lasted about 20 minutes. Compared to all the other times people in our complex got work done, water would be turned off for hours with no warning, BUT Roman's plumbing was quick and easy.

Unfortunately Roman's doesn't service my area (St. Helena) but their office was more than helpful and even took the extra step to find me an alternative company who performed the work I needed in my crawl space. They even went so far as to contact that other company to verify they performed the work and serviced my area then called me to give me the name and number. Very impressive level of service that warranted a Yelp review.

This plumbing company is just great - they are responsive with excellent customer service. Highly recommended for your plumbing needs. There is a reason that Roman's Plumbing had such a high rating on Yelp.

I cannot remember a better experience with any plumber or plumbing company than we have had with Roman' Plumbing.

We had worked with Roman years ago when he was employed by another outfit which was eventually sold. We experienced a plumbing emergency the other night ... it was late. We had received a wonderful letter from the previous company when it changed hands and then again when they decided not to service Marin County. They referred us to Benjamin Franklin plumbing and heating and had sent us a wonderful letter stating things like would be treated as VIPs, and one call does it all, ... well, one call does not do it all at Benjamin Franklin. One call did not in fact do anything. Benjamin Franklin plumbing told us they were booked up and could not help us and when I asked for a referral her reply was, ""I'm not even in California sir; we can't help you.""

So much for VIP customer service from Benjamin Franklin.

We tried several others and my wife finally said, let's call Roman. I was unsure about the one-man shop being able to service our needs but I was very pleasantly surprised.

We left a message for Roman late at night and the call was promptly returned first thing the next morning. We were told that they were booked, and she was very apologetic and then said ""let me call some of our other resources and see if we can't get you fixed.""

She was calling competitors to help us out of a jam. This was absolutely Macy's referring people to Gimbels and it was above and beyond the call of duty.

She then called back to say that their schedules have changed, that she found one of their own technicians who would be out between 11 and 1 PM. He showed up at about 1130 and did a brilliant job. He did what was necessary. He did what we wanted and corrected the problem. He did not try and sell us outrageously priced services, he did not try and sell us a new water filtration system or suggest that we redo the entire plumbing system as others had.

After troubleshooting the issue, Jason and Jay made perfect repairs, and cleaned up so we never know that anyone had been there.

I cannot say enough good things about Roman's plumbing. It was Jason and Jay who did the work. They were great. I mean really, really great.

When they say ""one call and you're family,"" they mean it.

I will happily recommend Roman's plumbing to anyone in need of those types of services.

I am 70 years old and hired many plumbers. Roman's Plumbing made the day. We have used his company on 3 previous occasions and it is a pleasure. He came to clear a disposal and do an estimate on an upgrade.

This was the first time I met Roman and found him honest, kind and a man who knows the art of plumbing. I recommend him highly. Each time they come to our home I learn a plumbing fact.

I was impressed to see a 5-star Yelp rating for this plumbing service, which is why we called them to fix a drain-back up this morning.

When Monica told me they were booked (after I told her we were totally unable to use any toilet or shower in the house) and very honestly told us probably wouldn't be able to help until tomorrow or Monday, the most miraculous thing happened as I was trying to get over my disappointment ...

She offered to call their trusted business associates and see if she could source someone to help us today! WHAT!? Wait? Exemplary, platinum level customer service is still alive and well in America? Is sure is ... and her name is Monica! :)

I would highly recommend this fabulous business to anyone and I will continue to call them whenever we need a plumber!
