I contacted Roman Plumbing to repair a pinhole leak that had developed in the water supply line to our house, I anticipated a total cost in the $300-$400 range. The repairs took an hour and 40 minutes for a total cost $961.53. On initial phone contact I told Stephanie the scheduler specifically that I temporarily patched the leak and did not want or need emergency service, I was still billed for emergency service. Also, their website claims that """"you are presented with upfront price upon our arrival"""", I was not presented with an upfront price upon the tech's arrival. After two email contacts, I finally received a receipt and was able to see what I was charged for. After the last email contact requesting reasons for the emergency billing, why I wasn't provided an """"up front price"""", why I wasn't provided an invoice until after payment was made and why the technician signed the e-invoice on the iPad in my place, three days later Frank phoned me to discuss these issues. Frank did not address the emergency call issue, why no up front estimate was provided and why I didn't receive an invoice when the job was completed and to the e invoice question, Frank responded that the technician """"has to put something"""" on the signature lines to complete the transaction. I think it would be more appropriate for the customer to review, understand and sign the e-invoice instead of the technician. Frank said that the bill was """"in error"""" and did amend it to $551.11 or $330.60 per hour (for reference, our Ivy League-educated attorney charges $300.00 per hour). Choose wisely, get several quotes and be very, very vigilant.

I had a leak in my bedroom wall. I called my repair guy for guidance. Unfortunately, he had a health issue and was unable to assist me with this repair. However, after assessing the problem he advised me to call a plumber and ask them to open the wall a few feet at a time. Sounded like a sensible direction. I called Roman Plumbing as they were able to fit me in quite quickly. The plumber (Caleb) was pleasant. When he came, I reiterated my Handyman's advice. He immediately dismissed it and jumped to the conclusion that my home's slab had a crack and water was coming up through the crack and we needed to get a sonar guy out first. They would not perform any work until they had the sonar report. He went on to tell me the sonar is usually $450 but he could get me a """"deal"""" for $250. I again asked him if he could please open my wall a few feet at a time. He said no. After thinking it over that evening, I decided to call A-1 Southern Plumbing. When the plumber came out, I advised the route my handyman said to go. Without any problem, the plumber opened the wall about 24 inches and guess what ? There was the leak ! Evidently, since I had the water spicket worked on a couple of months ago (directly opposite my bedroom wall on the front of the house), it caused a pipe to become separated in The wall. Had the drywall repaired and A-1 Southern billed me under $200 bucks for all the work they did.

These guys are great. Zack is the best. One morning ALL the plumbing in my house dried up. I called Roman Plumbing and Zack responded by phone. He knew exactly what the problem was before he even saw my house (a broken water softener). When he arrived Zack fixed the problem quickly and efficiently and he charged a reasonable fee. Another plumber I called previous to Roman Plumbing had no clue what the problem was and he refused to come out to look at it because it was a Saturday.. I highly recommend Roman Plumbing.

She came out on short notice to give an estimate, and even though she was a little late, she called to let my renter know. When she arrived, she took nothing for granted and double checked for herself. It turned out that the work 2 other plumbers said would run into the thousands was really only minor, and she fixed it on the spot. I don't know how she'll do on big jobs, but I won't hesitate to find out. She's at the top of my list next time I need a plumber.

Excellent, professional service. Quotes are honest and based on the job, not the amount of time it takes; they'll stay as long as necessary. Ask for Kyle, he's honest, hardworking, polite, and just a good guy overall.

I hired these guys and gave them a not so good review on home adviser. Big mistake! My problem was that my septic was not fixed because I needed to have them pumped. After all was said and done, these guys went above and beyond what I expected them to do. They did not leave here until everything was working properly. They deserve a 10 rating instead of a 5.

Amazing! I found Ann through Yelp to replace a hot water heater on our home beachside. This was a little tricky, since I was on the West Coast (California) when this emergency arose. I ordered a hot water heater from Lowes and Roman Plumbing picked it up and had it installed in 2 hours. Price was exactly what was quoted and very friendly to deal with. Really came through in a pinch for me. Thanks, Ann. And thanks Yelp.

With getting into it to deep. There are a lot of good plumbing Co. to use but not Roman. because it was to much for them to break down the price and give me a paper copy they cost me 2,200.00 for a water bill I wouldn't have had to pay. 1,500.00 that my insurance company would have paid. I guess working with me was just to hard but it wasn't hard to cash my check.. I asked many times over a three month period. Stay clear!!
