We live in a condo complex and one of the tenants had a shower faucet that would not turn off. It is an older building and the only shutoff resulted in no water for ALL tenants. Thus, this became an emergency.

We called Rojas Plumbing at 1pm, they were there by 2:30pm. Unbelievable response. They quoted a price, it was reasonable, they were UNDER their estimate. Work was professional. A+++ I would STRONGLY recommend these guys. Really wonderful to work with and reasonably priced (up front).

Rojas is a family business and struck me initially as absolutely trustworthy, smart, and careful in every way, from submitting a solid written bid to getting the work done AHEAD OF TIME and leaving everything clean. Found out the hard way that we had a water leak somehow in our house. My water bill had more than doubled. Searched around and sure enough, a pipe under the house was spraying a fine mist of water. We text Ivan and he came by that evening. He quickly found the problem and quoted us a very fair price. It was a fairly big job as it turned out two pipes were leaking. Ivan had to replace both pipes. It was getting late but he stayed and finished the job. So grateful to have that fixed. I asked him if he could replace a leaking garbage disposal at our rental and he went by the next day and replaced it. Again at a very fair price. We have used Rojas before and Ivan has come through every time.

After some difficulty with communication/nonresponsiveness, Ivan was very responsive and friendly when he came out to look at our gas line. He really took responsibility for the initial communication problems, and helped us out without charge, which was very kind and upstanding. I went on vacation and came home to a plumbing disaster - waste water backing up into my bathtub, toilet and under my kitchen sink. Biggest mess I can remember and all this on three hours of sleep. Long story very short: I can't thank Ivan enough. He responded to my call right away - on a Sunday no less - and came within an hour. He ran a camera, diagnosed the issue - a tree root - and found a short-term solution so I now have full use of everything. His price was excellent and my dog loved him. Can't get much better than that!

If I could encourage you to skip this review and just call these guys, I would, but if you're like me, you wanna read for yourself. So here it is:

I had a leaky water heater (which lasted about 15 years), that I could no longer ignore. I sent out estimate requests to probably 10 contractors in the East Bay, only to find about half giving me vague answers, wildly varying dollar figures, or requesting to come see the job first. I even went to Home Depot and dealt with their contractor service, which gave me one of the most expensive estimates received.

As the puddle of water on my garage floor increased, I decided to send out estimate requests via Yelp one last time. Luckily, this brought me to Ivan, and he responded right-away. Ivan was willing to come out that evening, but told me he wanted to compare costs between two different wholesalers to get me the best price. He also gave me a solid estimate range on materials, and a fair installation price. Actually, his price was the best out of all the estimates received.

Ivan and his co-worker arrived on-time, were professional, friendly, and got to work. About 90 minutes later, I had a brand-new Bradford-White 50 gallon with a 10-year warranty heating away. When you do your research, and talk to contractors, this brand is often cited as the best, and still made in America. Ivan cleaned the area that had been soiled by my old unit and took it away to the scrap yard.

I appreciate being able to shop around for contractors via Yelp. Unfortunately, I found most to be too expensive, unavailable, or wishy-washy. Ivan was straightforward, honest, very polite/professional, and did a great job. When getting the best price, sometimes that comes at a risk to quality, but that was absolutely not the case with Ivan. I will definitely contact him again for future plumbing needs, and recommend him to my friends/family.

Ivan came the day we called to assess our situation. He provided several solutions and we were delighted when he came up with one that did NOT involve opening interior or exterior walls. He was able to schedule our work within a few days, but then my husband let slip that I had planned a birthday party that weekend. When Ivan called just a few hours later with (very reasonable!) pricing, he told me that he wanted to do the work right away so I could have my party! Incredible. 48 hours after that call the work was done and we had our kitchen sink back to full operation. So I got to have my party! Couldn't imagine better service than that. Thank you Ivan & Omar! We will most certainly call again, though we hope not too soon :)

I had a problem with my hot water heater that stopped producing hot water. After getting a bunch of online quotes that were confusing, I called and spoke to Ivan. He was very helpful over the phone and gave me some suggestions to try to fix the problem on my own. He happened to be working in my area and came by my house about 30 mins later to help diagnose the problem. When he arrived, we found out that the suggestion he had given me over the phone had fixed the problem and my hot water was back working. The best part: he didn't even charge me for coming by. Talk about GREAT customer service!

I will definitely be using him as my go-to plumber in the future. My experience working with Ivan was everything you could want in a good plumber: someone who is honest, reliable & helpful. If you're considering who to call like I was, end your search right here & call Ivan!

These young gentleman were professional and a pleasure to deal with. I was given Ivan's name from a very trusted contractor friend. I had a bathroom remodel gone bad and after a year of trying to get it finished and to code, the shower was the last piece. I had no idea why my beautiful new shower would not turn on. Ivan showed up as promised (even confirmed a couple of times) and got right to work! Within minutes I heard the water running (music to my ears!). He set up the complicated expensive hardware to run perfectly. And he explained it all to me. On top of that, he was really nice and NO PLUMBERS CRACK! Amen! His price was reasonable and I would definitely call him again if I had a plumbing problem.
