My journey in plumbing began in 1995. In Colorado, I began my apprenticeship, concentrating on residential new construction. The shop I worked for was the largest in Northern Colorado, allowing me to gain experience in various aspects of the trade. I gained skills in residential and commercial new construction, tenant improvements, fire sprinkler systems, and service and repair. Upon moving to California and working with a few family-run companies, I obtained my California plumbing contractor license and founded Rocksteady Plumbing in September 2008. Initially, the company operated as a one-man shop from our home until 2017, when we welcomed our first apprentice. We have since constructed a shop and warehouse and added two more plumbers to our team. We now run three service trucks, with me full-time in one.
We often prefer traditional methods and can repair older systems that some companies might simply replace. Paul Rockwell started Rocksteady Plumbing and Water Treatment in January 2009. With 23 years in plumbing, Paul has served as a plumber and water treatment specialist in San Luis Obispo County since 1999. Rocksteady Plumbing and Water Treatment, a family-operated business, is based in Paso Robles.
Since 1997, Paul has been engaged in plumbing and water treatment. He has experience in both plumbing and water treatment sectors, working for companies in each field and performing both functions at other organizations. Paul is adept at pinpointing your water quality challenges and developing a reliable, cost-effective solution.

I would highly recommend this company, I don't write many reviews but felt I needed to in this case. I'm a retired HVAC contractor from the Orange County Area and understand service. While visiting my Mother we had a unique broken underground sewer line and these guys went above and beyond to take care of the problem. Starting from my 1st call and the communication thru the process, to the respectful and friendly technicians.

The technician was polite, professional, and left the work area neat and tidy. Over a month later I called late on a Friday to have an adjustment made. I spoke with the technician on the road and he was able to fit me in that same day. I could not be happier with rocksteady plumbing. They are terrific.
