Had Rocky replace our water heater as the old one died.

I pre-drained the water heater to save some time. Rocky started at 9am, and was done just after 1pm.

He replaced/re-configured the pipes on both our water and gas lines, added a thermal expansion tank, and obviously installed the new water heater. Total came out to $1575.

Everything is much cleaner, and hopefully safer as well. Rocky was friendly as always, and the area looks much better than before. Strongly recommend his services.

We found Rocky on Nextdoor. He is honest and reasonable. He unclogged our kitchen sink successfully. He doesnt give up, he tried and tried and finally was able to help us unclogged it. Thanks for not giving up Rocky. So glad to have found him.

I would put no star if I could. I called Rocky based on several positive reviews here. He was easy to talk to in the first call. He suggested buying relatively expensive faucets and I purchased 3 of them.
Then called him to schedule an appointment today. I reminded him about the work yesterday as well.
This morning he threw an unbelievable tantrum on me. I was waiting for him (he already being late) and he called me to ask what kind of parts are already there in the faucet. I am not a very hands on person and struggled to explain what's going on. I offered to him that he can start working and I will buy if he needs anything - all this while he was yelling and screaming at me. I think he wanted me to react the same way. Before I could even understand what's going on he said it's a long drive and he doesn't want to come anymore.
I am sure he never wanted to take this project up and just was looking for a reason to get out of it. I would never recommend him. He is unprofessional and very difficult to talk to.

PS : someone/Rocky has put a response to my review. I was polite thru the entire conversation without realizing that he was building up the heat for getting out of the work. That was so naive of me. I got shocked when he said he is not coming and hung up on me. I didn't even understand what went wrong. I can understand when some folks don't want to work on small projects. But they can always say ""this isn't big enough for us, sorry"" and gracefully sign off. No need to create ugly situations to get out of them.

We had standing water and slow drain problem in kitchen sink. Text Rocky after 6pm Sunday night, got response with quote right away, so made an appointment 9am Monday. He showed up on time. Rocky diagnosed the problem and explained how he is going to fix it. While he's doing the work, he also offered great tips how to prevent it happen. He is professional, does quality work with reasonable price.

I highly recommend Rocky for your plumbing needs. My experience was that he is a complete professional. Communication was excellent. An appointment was made and he arrived on time for the job. He's very nice and personable. Good guy.
I had a toilet replacement done and he recommended a toilet that Home Depot sold. No additional markup for the toilet and he would go buy it himself. He removed the old toilet and installed the new for a flat fee of $125 plus cost for the toilet! Very reasonable price for a quality installation.
I would certainly not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

I thought I had put a review up here long since, but when someone asked me for a recommendation just now, discovered I had not. Here's what I wrote on Next Door a year or so ago:

As with everyone else who has found this wonderful guy here on NextDoor, we were thrilled to meet Rocky for the first time today, and could not have been happier with his service. He was able to confirm my husband's diagnosis of the problem over the phone --we just needed to pull a faulty cartridge from a shower faucet, but did not have the right tool. Rocky was able to stop by within an hour between other jobs, pull the cartridge, lubricate the connection, and advise on specific replacement parts to be obtained at Home Depot. He tried very hard not to charge us anything for his time, but we won that particular discussion. He earned not only our payment, but also our loyalty. Should the need ever arise on down the road for more serious plumbing help, he will be our first and only call. Thanks so much, Rocky; it was a real pleasure meeting you,and we greatly appreciate the help!

Rocky, I'm sorry to read in your response to that other customer that you lost your brother recently, but happy to hear that you are back in business and doing OK despite these unprecedented times. All best wishes to you and the rest of your family, and thanks again for your outstanding service!

My second experience with Rocky was not as good. He did respond to me while on vacation but after that, I couldn't get a visit, or even a date for visit, out of him for more than 3 weeks in spite of several phone calls and texts.

I'd have appreciated if he had just told me that he was solid booked for a month. At least, I wouldn't have wasted my time. I finally reached out to Chico, who took care of our garbage disposal unit in 3 days.
